I'll combine the Roastery and Store locations in this review... after visiting the Shawarma House three doors down we felt like having something sweet and coffee. We asked how to combine eating knafeh and other delicious food with our coffee and were suggested to buy them first at the bakery and store next door. Mohamad was very helpful in guiding us around the bulk items (excellent Turkish Delight among others) and we were lucky to get the remaining knafeh. Our Sada Coffee was full of flavor and a good match with the knafeh... I tried one of the Turkish Delight and that one worked well. 8/10. Pro tip? Come in at around 5 or 6pm when many of the items are still available, including the ice cream. Coffee place is small, the tables and chairs are super practical but small to fit all the goodies. Nice service as well.

Beautiful and culturally rich shop! They have such a great variety of candy, nuts, pastries that I'll definitely need to get next time I come. The Dubai chocolate was INCREDIBLE. Perfectly crunchy and so decadent! It's definitely worth every single penny. 10/10!!! Workers are very friendly and helpful! Can't wait to come back!

This is so good you're gonna love this

The best Dubai chocolate in town Absolutely amazing quality and flavor with so many unique treats and products from Palestine . They have cups for tea and refreshing teas, and now a brand new coffee shop right next door The ambience is relaxed and inviting and the owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. A must visit spot in Garden Grove If you're looking for pistachio cream, they have it. They have all the stuff for you to make some Dubai chocolate yourself. Lots of different brand Dubai chocolates also chocolate bars, and lots of cool teas and dried herbs

Jerusalem Roastery (JR) is located in a small shopping center next to Shawarma House. I *highly* recommend lunch or dinner there, then dessert with Arabic coffee or mint tea next door at JR. When they first opened, I remember asking if they also served coffee and, then, that wasn't a thing. Today, you can grab some Turkish delights or baklava then go next door to their cafe to enjoy it with a drink. Parking is ample, they also have tons of roasted seeds and nuts, as well as bins of candy and other goodies. They have a wee bit of work to do on really making the cafe what it can be, but it's in its infancy, so I'm also being thoughtful about that. I didnt deduct a point because they listened to customers, and they made it happen. I hope they'll continue to improve on flavors, quality, etc. That will be a total game changer.

Hidden gem..this place has the best drinks. Of course the coffee is legit slow roasted made. Typically if you are accustomed to knowing the brew is time consuming and yes don't expect to run in and get a quick fix. This place does legit coffees and smooth results. The coffee is a must try if you havent had a traditional. The next drink we now crave is the mint lemonade. Fresh mint blended freshness that your mouth expects fresh and a tartness Wow! Blows your taste buds and a quench of the mixture of flavors will bring you back for more. I love that they have their traditional beverages of choice in the cooler as well. Please Stop in a Must!! You will enjoy the experience and also get hooked like us. Staff is super friendly always so helpful with questions. Remember the wait is so Worth the love that you will sip. Thank you Jerusalem Roastery also the restaurant next door has the most delicate delicious traditional desserts.

My daughter and I have been coming to Jerusalem Roastery every weekend after lunch for a few months now, for a variety of snacks, treats and beverages. - Dubai chocolate: We have tried so many places up and down Southern California, but Jerusalem Roastery's is truly the best. They have a variety in the fridge that is freshly made, and the price point is half of most other places, only $7.99 for a big piece. They also have wrapped ones that are good. - Knafeh: Their knafeh is served hot and fresh - they cut it in front of you. Both their soft and crispy kinds are delicious. Their cheese quality is the best I've tried in knafeh. - Nuts, seeds, etc: I have 10 bags in my kitchen right now (no exaggeration) of a variety of their nuts, seeds and corn nuts from the case in the front. My favorite is the roasted peas, their mixed nuts, kabooki and corn nuts. That's all I eat for dinner sometimes. - There are a variety of wrapped chocolates from Jordan that I buy for home and as gifts. I also share these with my staff at work and now their eyes light up whenever I bring them some. - Halal gummies are so fresh and they always have something new. Sour fans: The sour blue ones are my favorite (there are many blue ones!) - Baklava: I think I've tried all of the baklava now and the best one is all of them, just buy one of each and enjoy. - My favorites of their beverages (so far) is the Salaam Cola and the Sahra Middle Eastern Cold Brew. I prefer Salaam Cola over other sodas now, and the cold brew blew my socks off when I first tried it. They also carry a variety of Asian products that some Asian markets are often sold out on, like Dobby, the viral Hong Qi ice creams, and different flavors of noodles. Dobby from here is more fresh than other places I've tried. The store itself is beautiful - you can tell they are selective and take pride in the decor and everything they sell. Best of all, the kindest family owns the store and they are always so welcoming, asking if we want to try different things and telling us when they have new arrivals. Definitely come here for quality products and to support a wonderful family business. This is a very special place.

Interesting little shop! There's lots of middle eastern spices, nuts, snacks, desserts and candy that you can grab and they charge by the pound. I got probably like 8-10 strips of sour belts and it was around $2.50. It was pretty good and didn't taste overly sugary! What I really came here for was the viral Dubai Chocolate, which comes with knafeh and pistachio! $8 a bar, which isn't too bad of a price since a whole chocolate bar at some cafes are around $18. I thought it was pretty decent, could use more pistachio filling, definitely not the best I've had but was good for my chocolate fix!

Small coffee place with decent coffee and coffee drinks you won't get at Starbucks. Friendly and helpful staff.

Dubai chocolate bar here is delicious! They store it in the fridge so it's nice and cold - the pistachio knafeh had a great crunchy texture. It's served as just one vertical bar and is super thick with a lot of filling. They have a huge variety of middle eastern desserts and snacks here, and said they're expanding to a coffee shop too which I can't wait to try. The owner here was incredibly nice as well.

Such a surreal experience walking into this store. There were spices, sweets, chocolates, coffee, baklava, Turkish delight, kunafah, Dubai chocolate, pottery. Everything you could imagine finding in a souk in the Middle East. Got some freshly made kunafa, selection of Dubai chocolates and some nuts. Great service and friendly staff. Loved it!

I love this shop! I typically come here to get my Dubai Chocolate fix and other yummy treats. I've taken multiple people here and they love exploring the aisles and choosing out items to try. The people who run the shop are very friendly and accommodating. I'd highly recommend checking this place out - and it'd be a perfect place to stop by if you've eaten at shawarma house in the same plaza.

Came here for knafeh and keep coming back for more. I drive all the way from South Bay to come here... I've spent so much on candy, their gummies, the Dubai chocolates and more. Really love the aesthetics, the employees are funny and kind but the treats is what I crave the most! Love how parking is easy, place is very clean. The products are ample and I love supporting this business!

Love buying dips and chips from their stand during the Thursday Farmers Markets near Century City…read moreMall! Wide variety of dips that last a long time and all taste good. I usually get a bundle of 4 - garlic, hummus, basil, and something new. They let you sample dips if you haven't tried before! Chips are well seasoned and have a citrusy coating with a light kick. Staff is always nice and it's usually a quick and easy transaction. Highly recommend this stand!

Oh my stars. From the first time my husband and I tried…read morethese dips a few years ago at a local Farmer's market, we've been addicted. And while many times, some of the dips with garlic leave your breath warding off vampires all the way to Transylvania, they're absolutely worth it. This company makes amazing savoury dips (which I found out can be used to marinate meat also), hummus, fresh yogurt/kefir, labne, pita bread, chips, fresh pickles, pickled veggies, and more. We absolutely love the Cali Dip, Kitchen Sink, Crazy Mix, Pistachio labne, and strawberry labne. YUM. Just make a meal of it! It's so satisfying. Mostly, their products use olive oil, and I'm kind of a seed oil snob (I always check the label for this) and their products have minimal (I asked the owner) who said the canola oil used is minimum and used for making it smooth and cohesive. I appreciate they know their products and take pride on what goes in them. You can become full from trying all the different dips with their amazing samples! Get the amazing and soft pita bread to go with it, also!
