Last week I emailed to ask for help with an LED light that went out in the hot tub. Pool LED lights are supposed to last 10-20 years, so it's unusual that it would need replacement so soon. But they certainly didn't *have* to replace it, because our warranty expired (less than a year ago). So I got an e-mail reply telling me we're out of warranty and out of luck. It would've taken practically nothing for them to do, and they're out here in our neighborhood every day. Just saying.... That's the kind of thing that can cost you another $60,000 customer over a $10, one-hour courtesy job.
