Over the three years, and multiple service techs, responsiveness and consistency eroded to poor performance. Personnel turnover is an issue. Consumers should beware. Techs seem to last about 2-3 months, then a new person will show up - on any given day (I've had a tech - someone I'd never met before - show up on a Sunday when my regular service day was Friday). I had a leak in my pump return line and it took two weeks to get a response, then when communicated they would be there the next day, nobody showed up. I went from being a priority to being a nuisance - there are a lot more companies out there who want your business, similarly priced, and won't treat you like a nuisance. Go elsewhere.

If I could choose no stars, I would. From the very beginning Sutton Pools service team has been argumentative, dismissive, and non reliable. We began with purchasing a heater/chiller that was meant to use remotely for our guests who stay at our beach home. The tech Eric, was very dismissive, who would rather text than pick up the phone and have a conversation. Janice Sutton, who generally responds to email requests and always with a short argumentative reply couldn't be less helpful. Our pool company who services the account noticed the motor recently purchased and installed less than a year ago by Sutton Pools was making a loud noise, so he sent video which I forwarded to Sutton Pools. The motor is under warranty but Sutton refuses to honor that warranty claiming the pool company was to blame for not notifying them sooner. Furthermore, the heater/chiller we installed less than 6 months ago is also leaking. Now Sutton Pools recommendation is for us to pay for a new motor and find a new company to handle the service requests. We would NEVER recommend Sutton to anyone.

He tested my water and recommended an inexpensive fix with some pack of powdered chemical. Then I met Debbie. She tested my water and recommended 2 products to fix the problem. I'm now almost at 100% fixed chemically. I didn't spend much to do it either. Johnny and Debbie are so nice, kind and helpful. I enjoy going in there to see them and they very graciously take my water to test it with never a hesitation. Very sweet! Highly recommend!!

When we moved to the area we signed up with aqua rite to come once a week to clean our pool... initially everything was fine we had a great guy coming to clean the pool and then he was promoted and from then on out they kept changing our pool person and each one was just as lazy as the next ... but that's not the worst of it... the manager BJ never did his job never followed up with us on our request to look at the pool pump since it was having issues... I called the office and was told ohh we will be there by Friday.. Friday comes and goes and now it's been 3 weeks and 3 phone calls to BJ and still no one showed up and no return calls from BJ... we cancelled them and found a better pool company who actually does what we pay them for. My point being is .. if u want to get continuously blown off by them and the manager BJ and piss money away go right ahead and hire them but if you want actual work and good work at that we highly recommend looking elsewhere or you're money and time will be wasted.

He made appt for Wednesday, then called to cancel and would get with us next week. That was over 2 weeks ago and still not calling to schedule a time to come by after several requests to do so. Resurfacing should last 10-15 years. They do not stand behind their work, cancel appointments and don't respond to scheduling requests. Very disappointing as they used to be the go-to company.
