Krispie Boi is a tastie Boi

A nice small brewery tucked away in an industrial area. That said it is a perfect place to just relax and have a couple very tasty beers.

I was in town to support my daughter at the CIF State Championships and wanted to try a local brewery on Friday night, 11/29/2019. We walked in and found friendly service from Roger, the owner, who was working behind the bar and took his time telling us about his various brews. Pine & Palm is on the smaller side, but they have some great beers and the varieties are plentiful, with a focus on IPAs. The inside has two tables, bar seating with extra seating against the wall. There is a chained off section in the parking lot with picnic tables and a few tables to sit at inside the warehouse, which we didn't do on this cold night. They also have televisions for sports viewing. P&P is family friendly and pet friendly. They have Cornhole outside to play and if you look at the barrels outside they have a Pine tree planted in one and a Palm tree in the other. The name "Pine & Palm" and the logo comes from the Pine and Palm tree located in the middle of Highway 99 just south of Avenue 12 outside of Madera that marks the North and South point of California "look it up". The owner is local to the area growing up in Madera. You will find friendly patrons, tasty beer, and a standup owner, thanks Roger.

Pine & Palm is one of my favorite Fresno breweries, it's on the smaller side but they have some great beers and the varieties are good as well. You can also purchase any beer on tap to be canned right in front of you to take home, and if you buy three you get a free beer of your choice while you wait. On the weekends usually every Friday and during special events they have some food truck or local business serving food to customers. I really enjoy the juicy/hazy IPA'S they serve and your welcome to taste any beer on tap before you buy. I would definitely recommend if your into craft beer.

The brewery was open but we had to wait a little bit for the guy to do some paperwork before he served us. The place is small. Local feel. Only three tables to sit about 15 people. They had a fan blowing in to keep customers cool. Beer was ok

Local beers that are pretty damn good. We were in on a week day. Bought a flight and took a growler home of the apricots beer. It was refreshing tasting. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

5 bucks each! And super tasty

However, I found all of their beers to be balanced - the IPAs weren't too hoppy, the porters weren't too sour.

The beer is the obvious starting point. They brew their own and the variety is legit. I'm not even a huge IPA person but I tried one here and it was good enough to finish. The staff actually knows the menu and can walk you through whats on tap without making you feel dumb for asking. The space is great too. Industrial but warm, good energy, not too loud to have an actual conversation. It fills up but doesn't feel chaotic. Its in Clovis which from Fresno is nothing, like a 10 minute drive. Totally worth it for a Friday night out or even just a low key weekday hang. Prices are reasonable for a brewery. Nothing here feels overpriced. Just a really solid spot. Go with friends.

I like how the location is tucked away and not on the main strip of Herndon, I like the amount of outdoor seating, the misters on the north side which helped a lot because there's plenty of shade on the East but the sun will beat on you around the other side. Only downside was there were no outside TV's, they did bring one from inside but with the sun it was hard to have an angle that allowed everybody to watch. The beers were great, I wish I could recall what I had but the only one I recall was taboo 50/50. EXCELLENT. The staff was friendly, helpful, and inviting. The place was packed, most there for the USMNT's World Cup opener and I feel like they handled the crowd well. Only reason I don't give this place a more favorable review is the food options and the restroom situation, the mobile lavatories and the food trucks were a real bummer, this is a big location and it feels like they could've fit a kitchen in there somewhere. I'm a bit of a prude though I don't care for food trucks but theres nothing else being offered no chips, no nuts, no small eats. I did see a party inside with little Caesar's and stuff but idk if that's allowed for everybody or just a group party offering. But the mobile restrooms were nasty, humid, dirty, and just felt like a bad option for the area, the steps and the people stumbling out of them idk. Aside from those two things it was a cool spot.

I ended up at Summer Park's Brewing today by accident, and I'm really glad I gave it another shot…read more My first visit here was about three years ago on a busy Friday night, and it left a bad impression. I was standing in line, second or third, when another employee opened a register and pulled someone from behind me just because they were a regular. That didn't sit right with me, and it honestly kept me from coming back for a long time. That said, even back then, I tried a few flights and remember the beers being solid across the board. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad either, just consistently middle-of-the-road. Fast forward to today, and it feels like a completely different place. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by George, who was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, he took the time to answer questions, explain the brewery's history, and make thoughtful recommendations. He suggested the chips and dip, which I highly recommend, simple but really well done. I ended up going through three flights this time: a dark/malty flight, a hazy flight, and a sour flight. The sour lineup was fantastic across the board. That said, the standout of the entire visit was the dark Kölsch. It was exceptional and easily the best beer I had. Even the red ale, which I normally don't enjoy, was surprisingly solid. Overall, everything I tried was at least a 5/10 or better. Nothing here dips below average, and several options are genuinely impressive. For context, I tend to grade beer pretty harshly. I've tried a wide range of beers and actively seek out harder-to-find options, so if I'm calling something "middle of the road," most people will probably find it better than that. This lineup will land well for the average beer drinker. The atmosphere has also improved significantly. They've added more seating, expanded into a second room with pinball machines, and the music has been consistently great the entire time I've been here. The front room has four TVs, with one dedicated to the menu and three playing sports, which adds to the relaxed, social vibe. The space is clean, well-maintained, and easy to enjoy whether you're with friends or on a casual date. Parking is decent, around 20-25 spots, and wasn't an issue. What really stands out is how much this place has improved overall. If you had blindfolded me and brought me here today, I wouldn't believe it was the same place I visited three years ago. I'm still not thrilled about how that first visit went, but credit where it's due, this place has made a major turnaround. Between the service, the atmosphere, and the quality of the beer, especially that dark Kölsch, I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back.

We had to flag her down to ask for another drink. And the thing was they weren't that busy at this point, because the dinner crowd had all left. The food itself was ok. I ordered fired calamari with a sweet chili dipping sauce. This was just ok. I wouldn't order it again. My husband had a burger and fries, which he said was good. My friend had a southwest chicken salad, and she said it was decent. We enjoyed listening to our friends play music and had a few drinks as well. My classic margarita was tasty. In our group we also ordered the elderflower lemonade, the rosemary grapefruit spritz, and a coffee banana martini, and they all enjoyed their drinks. The restaurant itself is new with plenty of tables and booths and a few pub chairs and tables near the live music. I would say this is a burger and a pint kind of place. Mid-Saturday afternoon there were a few other customers but it was by no means crowded. We were able to walk right up to the bar and order right away. In retrospect, we should have tried a couple of different beers but we were both in the mood for / curious about the (aforementioned award winning) Big Daddy IPA. It was a good IPA and much better than the beer was 15 years ago, when we used to come for events but eventually stopped because (back then) the beer was just not good. It's really good now. The space feels a lot bigger and is more open now which is good for events. The decor is dark / painted black, with some skull themed decor. When we were there they were setting up for an "extreme metal" event but we left before it got underway. Next time we go I want to try the new Fresno State themed beer. I think it's called "Victory" something and is a blonde ale iirc. It's a nice brewery, comfortable and convenient with good beer, and we will be back. It would get a fifth star if they offered some food or had a food truck onsite. :) At my age it's hard to drink on an empty stomach-- I get intoxicated too easily...
