My second time here. First time was 4 years ago for the chocolate and wine journey only to return again years later for the same event. This was our 3rd stop. To be honest I wasn't to excited about it since the last time I was there, there wasn't a whole lot going on. But boy did they step it up from 4 years ago. There's plenty of parking. When we entered there were so many people and live music going. So many beautiful decorations and places to take photos for IG lol the staff that was pouring our drinks was very kind. They had a variety: reds, Chardonnay and beer. The ones we tired were delicious. They had many local shop and food vendors laid out across their outdoor area. The restrooms were nice and very clean. My party and I had a great time and ended up staying longer than expected.

We came here for their Friday night outdoor concert. What a perfect venue. The sound is by Mike of Wizard Sound. It is absolute PERFECTION! He is constantly walking around to make sure everything is balanced and that the acoustics is spot on. If you haven't been here, you need to hurry! There are only 2 more concerts. Next week is supposed to be AMAZING! Friday October 20, 2023, THE ULTIMATE 80'S CONCERT EXPERIENCE with Fasttimes!

    So many fun events here

Wow! What a wonderful place to spend a Sunday afternoon! I'd been to Engelmann's a few times back in 2016 or so, but most recently visited on a Sunday in June. Beautiful, huge grassy area with trees for shade to spread out in your own chairs or picnic blankets. No charge on Sundays. That day there wasn't a food truck so we brought our own snacks. There are some tables a available to use as well. Since the last time I was there they have added a really nice bathroom. The indoor tasting room and bar looks amazing! Nice and cool on a warm summer afternoon. I tired their beautiful rosè, delicious! Their bottles/labels are stunning. Besides wine they have Coca Cola brand canned sodas, hint water, and a few more options. They also have beer on tap! A few snack options as well, great variety of chips, cheese platters and crackers and these awesome chocolates! Great service and set up. I'd love to come back very soon. Short drive from Herndon and 99 area.

The most amazing venue for any occasion, especially for our wedding. My husband proposed to me at one of their Friday night concerts. Which if you haven't been and you're in the Fresno area it's a must! I've been to many events out there over the years. The communication with the owners and staff was smooth and easy, everything is laid out in the contract. They gave great suggestions for our other planning needs. They have very generous requirements. You do need to remember they are a small business, which is what gives it the magic. The most serene moment is when the sun has set, the wind is blowing, and the strings lights are on. October was a great month for a wedding out there. Their lawn was green and healthy. So many photo op spots around the venue.

Engelmann Cellars is a must do in Fresno! They have an amazing selection of wine, beer, seltzers and non-alcoholic options to keep your thirst quenched all year long. The venue is just stunning!! It's one of the best spots in town to watch the sunset. The Friday night summer concerts are so much fun. There is ample room to get a great spot in the shade, so bring a chair or blanket and sit back and enjoy the tunes. There are always delicious eats at the great selection of food trucks. Sundays are family & pet friendly and there is plenty of room to run and play. Plan to bring food as there aren't food trucks on Sunday. I highly recommend this place and can't wait for my next visit.

Engelman Cellars has a great venue! Lots of green grass to spread out on and tons of shade. They had a couple of food trucks, but I ate dinner before I came. We drank a couple kinds of wine - Chardonnay blend and Sommer Quartet, which is sweet. Both were delicious! You should visit this place.

    Beautiful sunsets and views.

I love this place. During summer it's our friday night hangout. Owners are wonderful. Wines are great and their wine Slushies are a must try on. Warm night. Beautiful setting. Enjoy the Sunday afternoon family time at the vineyard.

There…read morewas 3 of us and it was our first time being there and I had never heard of it until my friend said she found them on instagram. The place is really cute and super tiny compared to a lot of wineries in madera. It has a cute bar area with really nice chairs and a little area to buy books and market items. We sat down at the bar area and didn't get greeted right away it took a few minutes it seemed like they were overwhelmed with all of the people there. We wanted 3 tastings in the hopes to have a charcuterie board and get a bottle of wine if we liked one of them. While sitting there a couple who had a baby sat at the bar and both were drinking wine (sorry I don't think it's okay) I understand parents need a day or night out (I'm a parent too) but babies don't belong at wineries or breweries. It's just how I feel. While sitting at the bar area the owners and whoever else the ladies were to the establishment didn't have it together they all kept overstepping one another and they looked and seemed overwhelmed. And they kept talking about it in front of us. I found out the new owners have only been there 6 months. So I understand they're still trying to figure things out. But it did take awhile to get a new pour, so I finally asked after 3 tastings if we can buy a charcuterie board, one of the ladies told me they don't have anymore they were sold out. We were bummed because we were hungry, and they didn't have any snacks to buy. So we were on our last tastings and out of nowhere a board appears and was now being bought from the couple with the baby who also got to sample the slushie they serve as well. We left unhappy and not understanding why they just lied to us about not having a board for sale. The wine was great but how we were treated compared to the people around us not so much. It's so unfortunate to like something so much but the service that's given to you and different for others is not okay. I love trying new places but sometimes it's not what's it's cut out to be.

I had never even heard of this place until she got us tickets. When we got there, I was surprised at how spacious it felt for a smaller spot in Clovis. Parking is a little limited, but not too bad. When you check in for yoga, they give you a glass of wine (love that), and then you go find a spot in their cute outdoor yard. The whole vibe is very relaxed and homey. Just a heads up though... this is a working farm, so there are chickens roaming around and two kittens walking around as well (and one is very friendly). Something to keep in mind depending on your comfort level. The yoga class was about an hour and it was really nice being outside in the fresh air. Super peaceful. After yoga, they had appetizers and wine tasting. The appetizers are limited, so once they're gone, they're gone. There was this chicken appetizer that was SO good, but it ran out really fast. They also opened a few different wines for tasting, and their wine is really good! After everything, you can hang out, have some wine, and enjoy the space. The owner mentioned they also host bridal showers and baby showers, which makes sense because it's such a cute, intimate spot. Overall, it's a really nice local spot if you're looking for something in town and don't want to drive all the way out to Paso Robles. Definitely worth checking out!

We've been wanting to try this place for a while and thought we'd stop by since we went to the flower market event. I loved the sandwich, we all did actually. The wine options I chose were also delicious. I like the vibe and the ambiance the place has I just wish they had reservations for bigger groups like that to accommodate small tables and especially those whom never been there before. I will go back for sure to try other food items and wine options as well, maybe just have to pick a different day to go.

I tried to find information on the internet where and how to buy the materials. I found very little information and the information I found was here on Yelp. But, it was not the information I was looking for. Still at a loss on where to go or speak to.. I just drove out that way with my truck hoping to get lucky! I came across a big open lot that appeared to intercept the harvest trucks with a little building that had a sign in front (south side of Olive Ave just East of Clovis Ave). The sign was not very informative either by the way!!! So, I walked up to the building and there was a lady there behind a glass and asked if I needed help. I explained why I was there and she pointed out the different materials they had for sale. I explained I needed compost for over-seeding and she recommended the 50/50 mix of soil and compost. I bought a half of yard of 50/50 mix of soil and compost for only 15 dollars. Still not knowing where to go to get the material, I had to ask her where to go for the material because there was no signs. She pointed that I had to travel farther east on Olive Ave and take the second left. She stated a man would be there to help and load me. As I followed her instructions, there was no man to be seen. I drove pretty far to the back of the lot looking for this said, "man!" Eventually I just drove to the farthest part of this lot where I saw piles of materials and workers near by on equipment. Eventually someone waved me over and viewed my receipt. He then pointed me to the area he wanted me and he came over with a front loader. The pile of 50/50 mix he had was very small. But, it was enough for my load. As he scraped it up and loaded it into my truck, I saw small pebbles in the material. I think the pebbles came from him scraping the material from the ground. When I got home, I saw a few pieces of debris. It looked like a piece of a tie that's used for bread bags and few little pieces of torn paper. The material that was loaded in my truck didn't compare to the sample bags the girl had at the window when I purchased the mix. The half yard of 50/50 mix of compost and soil equaled to about 4 full wheelbarrows worth. Wished it would had been a bit more.. but worth the money. It would had cost me way more from a box store than it did getting the material at Gallo Winery. The little pebbles that was in the material migrated to the bottom of my wheelbarrow and was easily separated. As for the other debris, I just simply picked it out by hand and threw it away. I suggest to bring a tarp and a few pieces of heavy lumber to put over the top of the lighter weight material so it does not cause a hazard to other drivers when driving to your project location.
