Enter Pine Mountain Country Coffee on Festus Main Street. This is a mini Cracker Barrel. If you look around, it will resemble Cracker Barrel. They have all the candies and the sweets and the baked items. It's adorable inside. Their coffee is strong, it's great, and you should be supporting Local businesses like this. The service is genuine and way faster than the chains. Do not make me go protest in the Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts parking lots. Don't do that to me. read more

The ice cream here is amazing!!! It's made in Wisconsin and the flavors are unique and delicious. Plus they make those incredible over the top sundaes and floats. They recently have reworked the inside some and have a new candy station that is full of all kinds of seasonal goodies. When I worked down the street, I would often come for their cold brew coffee, fir an afternoon pick me up. They also serve some pretty amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches on New York bagels. Weekend hours are longer over the summer and early fall staying open until 10pm but as they hit October the hours shift to close by 9 o'clock on the weekends. They have cute ice cream cone seating tables as well as an old time soda bar. Definitely our families go-to ice cream splurge. I love that it's on Main Street with all the cute boutiques, shopping and local events. read more

NOT SANITARY!!! The ice cream is always good, which is a huge plus for this place. Coffee ain't that good, though. Been coming here for the ice cream with my mother and lil brother for about a year+ now. Usually it's all good and dandy, but this was too insane not to leave a review about and singlehandedly tanked my review and overall view of the place by A LOT. Went inside today at about 6:26 or so, and they had beautiful colored cones on display. Now, normally, that would be cool. However, they had no sort of sanitary cover and had an entire group of rude and rather stupid teenagers breathing and sniffing them up close (noses literally touching the cones). And when my mother mentioned it was gross, they proceeded to try and mock her and be ignorant dickheads. And one of them even licked one of the cones (I'm 17 and even i have more common sense then those entitled and rude fucks). The worker just laughed it off and let them do that and didn't even take any action towards the teens, nor to throw out the cones (not even the one that got licked) This is a huge sanitary hazard. For example, if my mother had eaten one or those cones, she would have died if those idiots were sick or gave her any disease as she herself is ill (not contagious. Serious illness that leaves her extremely vulnerable lately). Not to mention the fact that could transfer not only general sicknesses like covid, flu, and stuff of that sort. But also diseases spread through saliva. Like some stds. So, with that being said, ONLY EAT THE CONES AND STUFF THAT ARE COVERED AND KEPT SAFE FROM IDIOTS. Also for the worker to laugh that off and not take any action is DISGUSTING. Careful eating here. Thought the ice cream is good, just be careful. read more

First time visit today. We came for bagels. Unfortunately, they only had 2 kinds of bagels even though it was only 10am (they opened at 9) and only plain cream cheese. We ordered 3 tie dye bagels with cream cheese. I was surprised the cream cheese wasn't put on the bagel. My daughter wanted a bagel sandwich but they weren't taking anymore sandwich requests. They were very behind. We waited over 30 min for the bagels. I also ordered a hot mocha latte- it was not good. Im not sure how to describe the taste- kind of just like coffee with a little cream and chocolate syrup- which is not a latte. I took 1 sip and threw it away- what a waste! Bagels came out warm, it was really good and soft. I wish they were able to toast it for that added bit of crunch. We thought about getting ice cream too, but decided to wait. I will be back for bagels and to try the ice cream. I think they need to hire more help or find a better system to get orders out. There was a fair amount of people in there but not packed. This place is a new favorite! It's gorgeous and kitschy. I went with a coworker and we were both just floored at how gorgeous this place is.
