I recently had an unfortunate experience at this dental practice. As a new patient, I highly hoped for a positive and professional dental visit. However, my expectations were not met. My appointment began with a 20-minute consultation with the dentist, during which I was presented with a comprehensive treatment plan that carried a substantial price tag of $7,000. While I understand the importance of maintaining oral health, the brief consultation left me feeling uncertain and overwhelmed. The hygiene portion of my visit was equally disappointing. The hygienist, Heather, conducted a cleaning that left much to be desired. Her coughing throughout the procedure was concerning, as it compromised hygiene standards. At no point during the cleaning did she offer me a rinse, leaving me to swallow my own saliva mixed with blood! When I requested a rinse, she used the same receptacle she had previously used for my x-rays, hardly an ideal choice, and only provided water despite the evident bleeding from my gums. What made the experience worse was the lack of attention to basic hygiene protocols. The hygienist didn't activate the vacuum or water spray to clean up her actions, and the entire experience was, frankly, disgusting. I left the office with a stomach ache from ingesting my own saliva and blood, which is far from an acceptable outcome. This was the first time a new dental office did not provide a new toothbrush goodie bag; instead, it offered information about gum disease. "Hygenist" Heather had her assessment of my dental condition was at odds with the dentist's evaluation, leaving me confused about the state of my oral health. To top it off, she inquired if my mother had false teeth, an intrusive and unrelated question that further soured the visit. In summary, this was the worst dental experience I have ever encountered. The combination of inadequate dental care, unprofessional hygiene practices, and a substantial bill of over $230 disappointed me. I will be seeking dental care elsewhere in the future. read more
