This was part of a series of events for my girl's bachelorette party, and it did not disappoint. Parking is right on the edge of the grounds, next to the stable where you exchange m coins for the stuff of dreams. What was really amazing about this ride to me was the diversity of the scenery in one ride, and the amount of territory covered. We mounted the horses in a grassy clearing. Then onward we trekked into a luscious green wood, trotting along dirt paths and stones. We trotted along flat earth, inclines, declines, and certainly more. Oh, what are men compared to and mountains! Staff kept our group safe and tight - one headed the group, one tailed, and one observed the group from the middle. They constantly gave us tips on sitting properly, gripping the reins, and sticking with the group. The grounds were breathtaking and the horses were Spritely and well groomed. Cheap and excellent family fun! Brought my family here for some family fun on vacation. We all had a blast to say the least. The trail had some challenges to it which I thought made it fun. A couple of slopes , mud, random branches in your face is definitely going to happen on a visit here but it was great. The horses were well trained and had no issues. Our day turned out rainy for our original time but we were able to push it back and still catch a ride! I was super nervous in the beginning as I am pretty much a first time rider(once as a kid but it don't count i had help lol). My horse name was Buck and he took care of me, in the beginning he did show off a little lol but overall it was a great time! Took my mother for her birthday :), the staff were ver informal and matched us up with Horses to match our speed. They gave great instructions on how to handle our ride, although it was wet and muddy it was very enjoyable! The trail was very serene and so natureful! (Yes i just made that up) it was definitely an experience and something i can now cross off my adventure list! We saw a few Deer on our way including a buck! Definitely recommend you try it out once in your life, If i can do it so can you! I was super nervous and ready to cry and just jump off but the staff were very reassuring and made sure I made the most of it, glad i found the courage to hear them out!!! read more

The owner & staff were friendly & took the time to match us up to the best fit for horses. The trail is beautiful, in the woods with creeks. Volunteer teenagers lead the ride & are very friendly. As someone else noted about a young man, we had a girl who also talked a lot. I found it hard to connect with nature & the experience because of that. I also wish the site suggested using mosquito repellant or they supplied it there. We got so bitten up, so spray 1st, no fragrances & enjoy ! It was nice until the employees got rude and made a snide remark and every staff there was laughing. Not cute would not come again. They don't seem to know how to communicate and have good customer service to there customers only a select few very few. Also believe one was racist making me feel uncomfortable about a joke being made I did not like. They treat their horses poorly also by what we seen so far very sad to witness. On a spur of the moment outing, I took my 2 children to the stable. It was our first time there. My children had only been on horses once before, and I had not ridden in a very long time. It was a beautiful day, and we were having a great time. About a third of the way through our ride my horse was spooked because the owner decided they were going to take a dog out with them in a separate group on the trail, even though they KNEW there were inexperienced riders already out there. That stupid dog ran away from them because they weren't paying attention, and snuck up on my horse, who reared and knocked me off. I ended up with a shattered arm, broken in five places. It required intensive surgery and reconstruction. The horses my children were on THANKFULLY were ahead of me, and they startled, but did not rear up. I HAVE NOT EVEN HEARD A WORD FROM THESE PEOPLE. Not even "I'm sorry". How does anyone allow a dog to run around on the trails when you have inexperienced riders out there? They have my information, and yet, not a peep from them. They KNOW they were wrong. And now, I am facing at least a year of recovery because of their dog. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. read more

The BF and I went for a Sunday morning ride in late July and had a great time. The one hour ride was just enough for us to have a novel experience without getting bored. My daughter and I bought a Groupon for 60 minutes of trail riding which we utilized today. We made a reservation in advance. Our ride only lasted 45 minutes and we were led by a boy approximately 13 in age. I made a comment to the owner about the ride not lasting the full hour and didn't get any type of response. During the ride, the boy went on and on about his personal life and didn't do anything to make our trail ride enjoyable. Very nice trails, horses were great but I had an issue with one of the staff members...I believe the owners son. One of the horses named tank was not listening and the owner son hauled off and kicked him in the hind leg really hard. Then kept smacking him on the butt really hard with his hand. Then there was another horse who was being difficult and the rider was not kicking them to go forward he kept smacking that one on the hind leg and pushing his neck and yelling...the whole time I watched the horses demeanor and as soon as he walked up to the horse it's ears we're pinned back....almost like this happened often with him. This is not how you treat animals. Other than those two instances everything else was great the rest of the staff was friendly and the trail was beautiful we even saw a deer. read more

I found a groupon for this place and thought it would be fun to go to because I have never been horse back riding before. It was really cheap, but the lady that took us riding did not seem to fully understand that this was mine and my boyfriends first time riding..she kept yelling at my boyfriend because his horse kept wanting to stop and eat the grass. My horse was very high maintenance and would NOT go anywhere near the mud so when he saw mud he would walk around it..I almost fell off of a mini cliff and into the water while on my horse because I couldn't control him when he saw any mud. Other than that it was a fun ride. I would definitely go horse back riding again but I won't be returning to this place. read more
