Squirrels Nest salad. So delicious that I've ordered this the last 6 times

Should I do another review? Well, I did miss our waitress, Amanda this time, but the server that we had was spectacular as well.. This is just a happy place. The food was perfect and yes, I had the Squirrel salad again, but my sister had to build a burger with extra crispy sweet potato fries and her friend had a grilled chicken burger. He thought he was following doctors orders, but my sister took the bacon off it for him and ate it herself! . We couldn't sit in the sports part because I had something to do with the fan in the kitchen, so that's the only thing I didn't like as we sat at a different table than our absolute usual. Other than that, I can't help but giving this epic place with its epic chef five stars. It has to be my favorite place ever to eat at in Gaylord.

    EPIC CONEY DOG PIZZA

Stopped in with friends today. First bar I have been in with a squirrel theme. It is a little weak in n squirrels, however has its own softball field. They use this as a draw and have their own league, GENIUS! Benji and I split a Coney Island Pizza. His wife, Beth' had a cheese pizza and my bride had the shrimp Basket. The Coney Island pizza had Vienna beef hot dog slices, coney sauce, and it was amazing!! Beth also liked her pizza. Karen says the shrimp are great. So were the fries. The place was neat and clean. Great bar atmosphere, lots of friendly folks. The value was amazing, 4 people ate for $50 plus tip. If I am ever this way again, and I hope I am, I am coming back.

    Sloppy Burger

Stopped on Saturday afternoon and was expecting to wait with all the cars in the lot, but it was very spacious inside with a mix of hi-tops and low tables available. We had the Caesar wrap and the sloppy burger. The sloppy burger is like a mushroom Swiss on steroids. Very cheesy, lots of mushrooms but also bacon and onions. Delish! We had the potato salad for a side which was a nice alternative to fries. Our server was attentive and quick even though she had several larger tables in our area.

Chicken salad wrap with deviled egg, potato salad

We ordered the pretzel bites, Reuben with chips, chicken, Caesar, wrap with chips, and the chicken salad wrap with deviled potato salad. All were very delicious. We ordered this food to go, and it was ready in half the time they stated. Staff was extremely friendly and prices were reasonable. It's a cute place and would definitely come back and eat inside.

This place has an up north cabin feel. The bar has plenty of seating. There's lots of seating options for parties of two to large parties. It was a seat yourself place. We took our seats snd the waitress quickly greeted us. She was decent. Getting refills was hard as we left thirsty. The food was pretty good and the menu offered lots of options from burgers, Mac n Cheese to multiple different appetizers. I would make this stop again.

I came in peacefully, ordered a non alcoholic beer, and asked a few simple questions about how their Philly cheesesteak burger was prepared. The cashier spoke very quietly, and because of my hearing disability, I genuinely could not hear or understand everything being said. Instead of showing patience or basic human decency, the owner immediately became rude and hostile, accusing me of "ignoring" the cashier when I was simply struggling to hear. The situation escalated for absolutely no reason. The owner aggressively reached toward my drink as if she was going to snatch it out of my hand, refused to let me calmly finish my beverage, and threatened to throw me out simply because I decided I no longer wanted to order food after being treated poorly. I remained calm and respectful the entire time, and I did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. As a veteran and a paying customer, I expected basic respect and understanding regarding my disability. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and unwelcome. I would strongly caution others, especially Black Americans and individuals with disabilities, before supporting this establishment.

A great place to eat…read more For me it's a tasty cheeseburger value basket that includes a side of chili and an iced tea. Mrs. E. changes her order each time, but always puts fries in her value basket and shares my chili. I usually add a little chili to the burger and create quite the mess. Goes down easy, though. I like the way they cook their burgers and the fact they deliver them to our table. The free refills on the soft drinks (in our case, tea) is nice and the large dining area ensures we'll have a comfortable place to enjoy lunch. It must be a decent place to work because they're never short staffed. The servers and the order takers have always been overly friendly to us, so we keep coming back. 01/24

With a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of salt, the fish was good. Without it, it was bland but I'm sure that it to appeal to more palates. I tried the cheese curds as everyone raved about them. They just tasted like mozzarella bites. I don't know what I was expecting, but they were tasty, salty, and crunchy. They recommended to drip in the ranch. I tried it but the ranch tasted very artificial. They probably would've tasted batter with marinara. As for the service, the person who helped me at the counter was very helpful. They walked me through the menu and shared popular items. I appreciated their patience. Many of the tables in the lobby needed to be wiped down but it was probably after a rush and they hadn't gotten an opportunity yet. Overall, an okay first experience.
