    The Christmas decorations were great!

My family and extended family took advantage of the Inn for the holiday. Pineapple Hill allows a group to rent the entire inn and use it for a weekend gathering. Over the years, as families do, we have spread out across the country but we like to get together at the holidays. This has been hard to do in the past as no one has a house large enough to accommodate everyone or is centrally located. The Inn was the perfect solution! It seemed daunting at first but I find the rooms to be very reasonably priced and comparable to Marriott or Hilton pricing but you get so much more character! Planning ahead, we were able to reserve all the rooms The inn and grounds are spacious but still quaint. The house itself is gorgeous, set on the side of RIver Road in Newtown the setting is spectactular. We went in the winter so we were unable to use the pool but it looks like a lot of fun. The bed in my room was among the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the room we were in, The Baltimore Oriole, had a sitting room and kitchen with a balcony off the bedroom. Simply fabulous. Breakfast was delicious and served by the cheeriest and most helpful staff! We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I needed a winter weekend getaway, so she chose the Pineapple. We arrived late Friday night and were provided with a message and key at the front door upon our arrival. Be careful with the entrance, I got lost trying to find the B&B and turned into the house prior. That house's driveway made it difficult to turn around, so I had to maneuver over the snow to get out. We stayed at the Blue Heron room which was pleasant and part of the attic so the ceiling sloped in. Furthermore, we weren't aware that the bathroom would be across the hall from us. Since we went in the winter, the price for the room was half its original price at roughly $125, however, you don't get breakfast. Not getting breakfast wasn't a big deal since downtown New Hope has a plethora of brunch places to choose from, I'd recommend the Blue Moose. The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is that this wasn't advertised on their website that they wouldn't have breakfast.

Spent two nights here for a girls trip and everything from the staff, food, and accommodations were outstanding. Roy and Scott are the owners and amazing cooks behind the Inn, they were extremely welcoming, funny, and very knowledgeable about the area so they gave us great recommendations on places to see and eat. I loved talking to them too about the history of the inn and town. The inn is about a 10 min drive to the downtown area of New Hope, it has a beautiful outdoor pool and the grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast both days was delicious (ham and cheese quiche with potatoes, French toast, yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit). I liked that we were able to eat outside on the patio too. I plan on coming back next time with my husband for a weekend getaway. I highly recommend staying here.

Over the years we have stayed in many b&bs all over the northeast. This is now our favorite. The hosts, Roy and Scott are warm, funny, charming and hospitable. The setting is picturesque with flowers everywhere, the house is tastefully decorated to the period and the food is fabulous.... Delicious and artfully presented. There is a beautiful pool in the back with chaises and even pool floats. The service is not surpassed anywhere we've stayed.... They think of everything! Located just 4 miles from the center of new hope. We will be going back and sending our friends.

Scott and Roy are not only doing it right - they are making it impossible to stay anywhere BUT Pineapple Hill when visiting the area. We are already checking the calendar for our next visit. Gracious, charismatic gents who make you feel like you're an old friend the second you meet them. They have transformed the property - a sprawling deck, impressive landscaping (awesome pond), classy decor, tasteful upgrades - perfect. Ok, but what about the Bed and Breakfast part? Immaculate rooms (we stayed in the Blue Heron - private balcony / entrance; our friends' rooms were all equally terrific), comfy beds, great water pressure in the private baths, and THE FOOD. I need a moment. In-SANE. Hello creme brûlée French toast - I have your number.

Loved our stay at this bed and breakfast! The owners, Roy and Scott, are extremely welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious each morning. Very close to the town of New Hope and Peddlers Village. We will definitely be making this a new Christmas time tradition. The decorations were inspiring!! Definitely recommend.

We stayed at the pineapple Inn this past weekend and can't say enough good things about it!, Scott and Roy are amazing hosts extremely helpful and fun... The food and atmosphere are amazing and Scott can make an extremely great cup of coffee!... When we are in the area of New Hope, this will be the only bed and breakfast we stay at!

The Lambertville Station is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway or a girls' weekend thanks to their lovely rooms and extremely comfy beds. We were given a room on the first floor with the most perfect view of the river and part of Lambertville, and I almost forgot that this was the middle of my winter depression season. The fireplace and self serve bar when you enter really give you a nice place to settle you into your vacation. Then they are surrounded by delicious restaurants and cafes to visit for a quick bite. Although make sure to get your free breakfast because it come from a nearby Parisian bakery and although the coffee is as bad as Dunkin Donuts, the pastries are divine. I highly recommend doing a few vineyards after checking in, but if you don't want to go far, Tomasello's has tastings and so does the Food Hall on the side of New Hope (which is walking distance). We also liked that they kept our bags after check out so we could get a massage and therefore leave New Hope in complete serenity. There is also tons of free parking, which is nice compared to downtown Philly hotels where that is usually extra. Overall, I thought it was a lovely stay, we stayed in the Cape May room (I also like that each room has a name) and enjoyed the dark and creepy old vibes from the hotel. It truly made you feel like a part of the historic area.

Spent a birthday evening here, well, we tried to. Sat at 7:10pm on a Friday. Place was busy. Hostess was kind and friendly. Poured us some water. And then...that was it. An extremely flustered waiter ran by us several times, not even touching the table to say they would be with us. Hostess tried to calm the waiter down one time when he was speeding by to drop a check on an adjacent table. It took forty minutes, and I am not in the least exaggerating before he came back to us by way of us finally having enough and flagging him down as he rushed by as though there was a fire to put out in the kitchen, and so we said we would like to order drinks at least. He stopped and got out his pad and we requested that we also put in food since by this time it was almost 8pm and he replied curtly and without hesitation, "I don't have time for that!" And ran off. Not only did we waste an incredible amount of time here just to leave hungry and without even a drink, but when I called to complain to the manager, hoping someone had the good sense to explain this waiter's behavior, I was met with excuses that they had only two servers and 14 tables between them. Needless to say, consider this review. I booked a table here due to all the positive responses but unless we were the exception, it might happen to your table, as well.
