I am surprised this place has so many negative reviews. I loved it! Delicious food, cheap and beautiful decor. This is a cute little hidden gem in my opinion.

I was in charge of brining dessert for Thanksgiving dinner. Pinecrest Bakery is not far from where I live and heard some good things about this bakery, so why not check them out. Came in and looked at their dessert case with a bunch of pies, cakes and other pastries. All looked good and it was a tough decision. I decided to get a traditional pumpkin pie and a coconut pie. Pumpkin Pie was ok, wasn't that moist and didn't have a very strong pumpkin flavor, like I said, it was just ok. Coconut Pie was better in my book, good coconut flavor, sticky, nice coconut flakes in the filling, I would consider getting this pie again. Even after a few days of eating Thanksgiving leftovers, pumpkin pie was still just ok and coconut pie was better. Prices were about $12+ for each pie which I expected. Staff was friendly helping you decide, confirm which pie you wanted, boxed it up and rang you up to get you going. Guayaba Restaurant inside the bakery, popular lunch place, coffee spot, not far from Downtown Doral. I'll probably come back again to try other stuff.

Ordered a sandwich Cubano and looked more like a ham sandwich. 1 small thin slice of pork.

Ordered a Cuban sandwich and can honestly be called a ham sandwich. They "snuck" a piece of pork in there and when brought to the attention of staff, all they said was ok ok. Not what I paid for

The owners of this establishment have turned this warehouse-like location into a beautifully decorated bakery plus restaurant with massively elegant chandeliers that add a sort of bougie-ness to the place. I do believe that this restaurant provides live music on the weekends too. Service - the staff was wonderfully polite, attentive & accommodating. Food - Bakery: I didn't try the pastries but they all looked decadent & delicious. But, I did try the Cuban cuisine. Ordered: *Vaca Frita - The beef was tender but very salty to the palate. Tostones were fried to perfection. Black beans were very bland and watery. *Fettuccini Alfredo w: chicken - Incredibly watery & average tasting. *Pork chunks - Tender, tasty & very well cooked. The congri was a bit salty & beans were on the hard side. Overall, the food was below average at best. The server told us that the regular cook was not in; but in my mind, a hit-miss eating outing is not acceptable especially at a recently opened establishment. I'll let them work on their culinary kinks and business as a whole before deciding to go back for a second try; but till then, I wish them luck..!

A beautiful new location in Doral. We stopped in to see what they had, it opened a couple of days ago. The have really nice cakes and desserts. We took home some mini party pastelitos that are delicious! There is also the Guayaba Restaurant connected to the bakery,

At $17 for a coke and a sandwich I Don't know why they tried to reinvent the Cuban Steak sandwich! Worst one in Miami. And I've lived here all my life

Dined at the Guayaba Restaurant within the Pinecrest Bakery. Thoroughly enjoyed some things but didn't love everything. I ordered the carne asada with rice & beans and plátanos maduros. Everything was delicious except the rice. The rice was probably old - hard & definitely did not match the flavor and quality of the rest of the food. The cortadito was also pretty bitter. I tried a bite of their churrasco and their sweet potatoes and they were super good! The place is relatively new, they are hoping of doing night time events in the future & the place is super spacious & beautifully decorated. The service is also super attentive & friendly! Overall pretty good but room for improvement.

Greasy food and you can tell the blob of grease that is on the right bottom of the container.

The guava tarts and coffee are excellent. The eggs were overcooked but the bacon was nice and crispy

I came to eat empanadas, Kenny served me, unfortunately the service was bad and he made two coffees which burned my lips.

This was one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had…read more I ordered a standard birthday cake for my wife's birthday and went to pick it up at 4:50 PM. When I arrived, I was told the register was already closed and they could not accept credit cards. Fortunately, I had a $100 bill with me, but they refused to accept that as well. I had to walk around the plaza trying to find someone to break the bill. After finally getting change, I returned at 5:01 PM -- only to find the door locked. What made the situation even worse was seeing the employee sitting in her car watching me, then driving away as she waited to give me a bad look. It felt incredibly disrespectful, rude, and completely unprofessional. I've honestly seen better customer service at a gas station. The lack of basic courtesy and common sense from the staff was unbelievable. Locking the doors while a customer is actively trying to break the bill is just unacceptable behavior. It's clear this employee does not care about customers or the reputation of the business. Management should seriously reconsider who they trust to represent their company because this kind of attitude drives loyal customers away. I've been a loyal customer for years, buying birthday cakes for both my family and our office celebrations, but after this experience, I will not be returning. Unfortunately, this was not my first negative interaction with the same employee. After multiple bad experiences, I can confidently say the problem is the staff.
