Do not take your dogs to this kennel if you truly care about your dogs!!! The rescue I volunteer…read morewith learned the hard way. There is no way to know the level of care the dogs receive while here. Vicki is an older woman who has one staff member who helps in the mornings. This is the second kennel we have dealt with who have the funds and don't hire staff, which can only point to greed. That means Vicki herself is taking caring of her human partner in the home and their 8 animals, as well as the countless dogs being boarded there. Vicki is so up and down mood wise. She's terrible to "work with". She has been over 30 minutes late numerous times when dogs are being picked up or dropped off by rescue volunteers. She made everything difficult for the rescue I volunteer with, almost causing countless volunteers to quit. She makes up rules and regulations as she pleases. She has 3 dogs who were abandoned at the kennel who she won't even allow to find homes, instead they rot in those kennels. She has a Pitbull, shepherd, and senior Chihuahah who were dumped there and live there to this day. She had a rescue at her finger tips who has helped placed other abandoned dogs and yet she would rather these poor dogs suffer in a cage for the rest of their lives. This is not someone who cares about animals. This is someone who cares about money and that's it. The kennels are in bad shape and instead of repairing them, she doesn't. She has her own partner's dog and 2 cats inside the home. She has 2 of her own dogs in the home who live solely on the porch and 1 more who lives in the indoor kennels. These animals are not getting the attention and care when there are at least 20 kennels who often have animals in them. That is around 27 animals being fed by 1 person at night and 27 being fed in the morning by 2 people. Take your dogs to a kennel who truly cares about their dogs, who allow you to see the kennels with your own eyes and who have STAFF. This place needs to be shut down and it's only a matter of time until it happens.

I needed someone to…read morepick him up and meet me at the Philadelphia airport so that the puppy could fly back with me. I contacted Sitters4Critters and they quickly responded with questions and shortly there after with an estimate. Once I decided to utilize their services, Sitters4Critters were in constant communication with me finalizing all the arrangements. On the day of the transport, they confirmed they picked up the puppy and were waiting for my flight to arrive. They headed to the cell phone lot to walk him and try to feed him. I texted them when my flight landed and shortly afterwards met them and my new puppy! And the following morning they contacted me to ask how my flight home with the puppy went. Extremely pleased with their communication, transport service, and caring gentle handling of my puppy. I highly recommend Sitters4Critters!!

They loved all the attention she lavished on them including plenty of time playing in the yard. How do I know? PICTURES! Nicole posted photos on the PetCheck app almost every day. I knew through the app when she arrived, saw my happy fur kids playing in the yard and then knew when Nicole left because she would check out. I could also see all the walking she did with them through the gps powered map. Nicole and PetCheck are the best things! Looking forward to many more years and happy tails.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I had dropped my 11 mo Labrador off on Wednesday…read moreSept 22 and called Sept 24 to see how he was adjusting. I was told he's doing great and coming out of his shell as he was nervous when I dropped him off. I didn't hear from anyone until Tuesday October 5th (the day before pickup) when I received a voicemail from Mallory that she needed to speak with me. When I returned her call I was informed that my dog had a rash on his neck and wanted to tell me before picking him up the next day and it shouldn't be a "cause for concern." She stated that the day after he was dropped off, staff noticed a tiny itchy, dry spot on his neck that progressively got worse. She continued to repeat that they didn't want this to be a cause for concern and naturally concerned, I asked to be sent a picture of the rash. This was no rash at all. The picture I was sent showed my dog next to a trainer with a raw, oozing wound where his jaw meets the base of his neck. It looked very infected and he definitely needed medical treatment so I immediately went to the facility to pick him up. When I arrived, I did not find my dog in the same condition as shown in the picture I received just an hour earlier. His wound was dry and completely scabbed over. The staff stated the wound looked much better than before (because it was healing). I immediately took him to the vet for a thorough exam and our vet diagnosed a skin infection of the hair follicles caused by injury to the skin. He also estimated that the original picture I was sent earlier that day was taken at least a few days prior. The vet also estimated that this injury occurred at least a full week prior to the training staff notifying me. Not only did my dog have an infected injury on his neck, he also had an infected wound on his testicles, had lost a significant amount of weight, as well as developing upper respiratory infection. Prior to sending him to the facility he was a big overweight with a very thick coat. The dog I picked up had lost at least 10 lbs and his spine and hip bones can be felt to the touch. The picture I was sent from staff showed a very obvious infection and the staff neglected to care for my dog or notify me that he needed medical treatment and attempted to treat this wound themselves with only A&D ointment. When asked about the 24 hour veterinarian on call mentioned on the training facility website, the staff stated they do not have a veterinarian on call. A bit misleading. After examining the neck wound we noticed small bumps around the sides of the wound that seem consistent with a pronged collar. We don't know how these injuries occurred but it's very clear our dog was NOT properly cared for and the staff neglected to provide our dog with basic medical treatment or at the very least inform us that our dog needed to see a vet. I will NEVER recommend the Dan Gentile Training to anyone.

I'm writing now because we now have a new puppy and I was looking for training places and this place came up and brought up bad memories so I felt I needed to write our experience. We dropped our dog off and went on a trip so she could go through the program. Coming back to pick the dog up we couldn't wait to see our dog thinking she would be so excited to see us but to our surprise our dog was subdued and looked defeated. No tail wagging or anything. Before the trainer showed us what they did, she commented that if WE didn't follow directions we had to put $25 in this jar. We laughed it off as though she was kidding but to be honest I don't think she was. They walked us through what they did and the "progress" and mind you they had a spike collar on the dog so when you pull it digs right into their neck. The trainer was showing us and she pulled so hard my dog let out a painful yelp! It looked like torture to be honest. We immediately said we are done here and left ASAP! My dog eventually recovered and we found a dog trainer that used positive enforcements and she became her happy self again
