I have some fond memories of going there with my dad and catching some soon-to-be Orioles players out there with the minor league AA affiliate Bowie Baysox. Now I get to share that experience with my own family. We were there on a very crowded night, as they were doing a special event for elementary school kids and their reading program. The stadium was at capacity, supposedly! We heard they were turning folks away at the gate. Wow! Still, it was not too packed in the bleachers or even the reserved seats, but I guess a lot of folks were milling about in the food lines and other venues at the stadium. For being nearly 30, the place doesn't show a ton of wear-and-tear. The amenities are nice, the food isn't as ridiculously overpriced as you might find in the major leagues, and there are plenty of options for the kids who aren't that into the game. Parking is free, but you might have a bit of a walk, especially if the place fills up on game day. Still, it's not that bad all things considered. And hey, do the majors have free parking? Not that I've ever encountered! The ticket prices are more than reasonable, and you have a lot of options. It's a quaint and cozy stadium, intimate but large enough. It has a great hometown ball-team feel to it. And that's probably the best part about coming here. Check the schedule for promotions, as they frequently have many giveaways, special events, and deals. Fireworks nights are very popular, so be sure to get your ticket early and arrive even earlier! All-in-all, it's a wonderful place to build some great lasting memories.

I came here for a concert. Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena is UMBC's basketball and volleyball…read morevenue. For events, there's paid premium parking (closest to the venue), but there's also plenty of free parking in other lots around campus. We were able to park in Lot 1 which was directly across from the venue. They had parking attendants to direct the flow of traffic going in and out. There was a good flow of traffic arriving at the event. Leaving the event was a little more backlogged (which is to be expected when thousands of people leave at the same time), but the parking attendants did their best to make exiting as painless as possible. Security was quick and easy. We walked through their security scanners without a fuss. This venue also allows bags. Our tickets were scanned at the door, and we were inside in no time. This is as intimate as arenas come ~ no screens necessary! Signage was posted all around the arena to guide you to where you needed to go, and the usher gave specific directions to find our seats. We had floor seats towards the middle (not up at the front), and for short people, the sight lines were excellent - best floor seats I've ever had! The rows of chairs on the floor were neatly arranged, and each row and seat were clearly labeled with hanging signs and numbers chalked on the ground. I also liked how the floor wasn't overcrowded with seats - there was enough space to walk around freely. Once the show started, ushers also escorted guests to their seats with a flashlight. The smaller venue size allows for a more personal approach. Sound quality was good but not great, but it did the job and certainly filled the space. I'd come here again for an event.

We did everything right. Bought parking in advance. Arrived over an hour early. None of it…read moremattered. The car line alone was 30 minutes just to reach the lots. It was obvious the parking operation was in chaos, with attendants scrambling to redirect cars because paid and unpaid vehicles were apparently mixed together. Our ticket listed a lettered lot. The attendant told us that was a system error and lots are actually numbered. So the ticket we paid for in advance directed us to a lot that didn't exist as described. Great start. Once we finally parked, we found two lines stretching at least an eighth of a mile each. We picked the shorter one and stood in the rain for 45 minutes. When we finally reached the door, the event staff greeted us with visible irritation. We had been standing outside getting soaked for the better part of an hour and were met with attitude. The only reason we stayed was because of what we paid for the tickets. Inside, electronics go into pouches, which is fine. Except the pouches have no straps and no unique identifiers. Set yours down for a second in the bathroom and good luck sorting it out from everyone else's. A small but telling detail about how much thought went into the logistics. We left early to beat the exit crush and it still wasn't pretty. I don't care who performs here. We will not be back.

September 21st 2025…read more This place is so disorganized and disappointing. My father called ahead of time since him and I are both disabled (we both have handicap placards and my father has a permanent disabled license plate) He finally got ahold of someone and they said if we want handicap parking up close get the gold parking pass. I paid 200 dollars for parking. Yes, 200. Parking up close is VERY important to me.. Nobody was helpful in guiding us to the lot we paid 200 dollars for. Also, they told us when we got there there's no handicap places, we just have to go and sit on a blue bench and call a number for a golf cart to pick us up. I called the number 3 times and somebody did answer. They were nice but not helpful. We ended up having to give up and walk. No workers were helpful, and when we would try to flag down other workers on golf carts they would not stop for us. They did not even look at us The stadium is very outdated. It looks extremely industrial and not welcoming Very crowded Lines were long There definitely was not enough bathrooms or food areas to keep up with all the people it can hold However, I did enjoy the seats we had. I liked the view. And the field looks great. I will say, the bathrooms for the MOST part were clean for over 50 thousand people being there. I did see a toilet overflowing onto the ground though. But workers were taking care of it This stadium needs a huge update. Do not waste 200 on up close parking. It wasn't even that up close and nobody came and picked us up despite us calling and waiting for 43 minutes (the game had already started while we were waiting) Again, I do have to hand it to the woman on the phone who kept answering. It wasn't her fault and at least she answered. So, if you are disabled and can't walk far, plan accordingly Every stadium is different So always check their bag rules. I did have to use a small clear bag Sadly, this stadium is probably one of the worst I've been to P.S- if you google worst NFL stadiums, this one comes up lol. So I'm not the only one complaining

It is true not located near much and traffic is awful. It's quite a walk from Metro and some games and many concerts end after it closes. Hence the new DC stadium will be a welcome change plus having large concerts in the District on 3 metro lines will be a huge plus. The first game against the Seahawks (go Hawks) in 20 for Monday Night Football on the upper deck in 2021 was not impressive at all but beat the experience of the Dome in St. Louis. The upper deck in Baltimore is way better. However our last experience several rows back in the lower deck near the end zone for the Sunday Night Football game for a nearly sold out crowd in 2025 was amazing. While the Commanders (then Washington Football Team) beat the Seahawks narrowly in 2021, the Seahawks beat them in a landslide in 2025. We felt bad seeing poor Jayden Daniels get reinjured though.
