What a beautiful Park. We stayed 4 nights with our three kiddos and brought our pup. You can drive in from two directions and both ways offer beautiful back road views. The Park is extremely clean and maintained. For a large Park it surprisingly feels spacious. You dont feel like your on top of your neighbor's. The staff are super nice and very helpful! The camp store is great and had everything you'd ever want. We came during winter so we did not get to use the pool but the area looked nice and well maintained. We stayed right on the river, highly recommend. Site was clean and the pad was spot on level. We will definitely be back one summer so the kids and can play in the river.

This is such a lovely RV Resort. A well taken care of property right off the Piney River Road in Bon Aqua, Tennessee. Beautifully maintained with excellent amenities make the camping experience relaxing! Not far from smaller towns & bigger towns, it is easily accessible. We are really enjoying our stay. Our camp site is right on the river. We are already planning our next trip. Caring staff & so many adventures to enjoy here & in the nearby areas.

The actual resort is wonderful and we especially have enjoyed the river front location. The sound of the water flowing by us is very relaxing after a long day on the road. The staff were warm and welcoming and quite informative. The route to get here was extensive (15 miles off of I-40)...not the best road conditions in a 35 ft RV...narrow winding roads that took approximately 30" from the Interstate.

The site was beautiful and had this string light.

First time here. About an hour drive West of Nashville. Resort was clean and well maintained. We arrived after the office closed and a welcome packet with directions to our site (68) was waiting for us outside the office door. Staff communicated with us via text prior to arrival and their responses were prompt. Staff provided direction in their texts which contradicted the GPS directions. I recommend following the staff directions as the route is easier when towing a trailer (fewer sharp turns, etc..). The real attraction here is the Piney River. The river is shallow, and the riverbed is comprised of rocks. Wear aqua shoes if you have sensitive feet. Also, bring a tube or other flotation device. If you have a beach chair, you can sit right in the river and cool off. I would definitely recommend this resort and we will be back. I only have one complaint. We were not notified that they were adding on to the resort prior to booking the site. There was construction every weekday. The construction was 1 site away and also directly behind us. We were awakened by skid steers and shoveling one day at 6:00 a.m. Other days they started at 7:00 a.m. (the end of "quiet time"). One morning at 7:45 a.m., a worker began cutting rebar with a cutoff saw about 100' from our site. We understand that construction is necessary to improve/expand the resort, but we would have selected a different site had we known. Again, construction aside, I recommend this resort.

Checked in and cooking some grub.

Clean quiet friendly little place. Not too far off the beaten path. Follow their directions to get here GPS is likely to get you on a route that you may not want to pull your rig. A great place to relax un-wind and enjoy the value of a quiet camp.

Beautiful campsite friendly staff loved being right on the water. Can't wait to visit again. Follow their directions and not gps.

Very pleasant quiet RV park on beautiful river. We saw owls, deer, turtles and had fun fishing with the kids. Highly recommend!!!

I'm not sure what I'm missing but read everyone's 5 star reviews of this place so we chose to spend Christmas here. We do love our site with a pavilion overlooking the river. However, there are zero amenities. No laundry, bathhouse. Wifi is spotty. Not sure what the resort part is referring to. The drive here was sketchy. It's definitely in the middle of nowhere. An hour away from Nashville. Closest Walmart/grocery is 30 mins away in Dickson. So not a great location if you're looking to be close to some fun things. I'm sure in the summer the appeal here is swimming in the river.

Only stayed one night. I had no negative issues. It was quiet and the shower and laundry room were nice.

On our road trip from Fort Worth, we were researching available places in this area and Little Tracks came up as having one night open!!! We lucked out!! We stayed in Red Fish cabin for the night. Once you reserve and pay for your stay, the owners text you the appropriate information to get in! They're so hospitable. When we walked inside our cabin from our long day of driving, we were greeted with a cozy and clean place! There is a hot shower, shampoo/conditioner, beauty mirror, towel hooks, towels and linens. The kitchen is complete with dinnerware and cutlery, a blender, coffee machine and fridge in case you want to cook any meals. We also spotted a fire pit in the front for making s'mores! If the temps gets too cold or hot outside, there is an ac unit to make your sleep more comfortable. There is a tv mounted in case you have time for watching anything, we didn't though. The trees were gorgeous, showing off their fall colors, and it was so quiet despite being right off I-40! It felt like a night at Grandma's house, safe and snuggly. We recommend staying!

The owners were very pleasant, helpful, (booked with wrong date by accident), and friendly. While I was only there for one evening, I would love to come back for a longer non-business stay. We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Rock 'N Refuge in March 2025, staying in the honeymoon…read morecabin to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our two-night stay was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed--the photos online simply do not do this place justice! The cabin is even more spacious and beautiful in person, making it perfect for a couple's retreat. The price was very reasonable--comparable to an average hotel--but with so much more to offer. Unlike a typical hotel room, this cozy cabin provided ample space, privacy, and unbeatable amenities. Nestled deep in the woods, the cabin offers complete seclusion, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We especially loved the private hot tub on the back deck, where we could unwind while surrounded by nature. The cabin itself is beautifully designed with a full kitchen and bathroom, a spacious living room, a charming breakfast table for two, and a cozy lofted bedroom. The wraparound wooden deck features additional seating, a hammock, an outdoor dining area, and a fire pit--ideal for relaxing under the stars. One of the most refreshing aspects of our stay was the "unplugged" experience--no TV, no WiFi, and minimal cell service. It truly allowed us to disconnect from distractions and focus on each other. The location is fantastic, just a short drive from Loretta Lynn's Ranch and a variety of restaurants in Hurricane Mills, McEwen, and Dickson (TN). It's an excellent base for exploring, but honestly, we were so content in the cabin that we barely wanted to leave! We chose this retreat as a romantic getaway, and it exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for a place that fosters peace, intimacy, and relaxation, this is it. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating, and the host was both thoughtful and communicative, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-prepared upon our arrival. If I had to name the worst part, it would be leaving. Two nights simply weren't enough--we could have happily stayed for a week or more. With Rock 'n Refuge being just two hours from our home in Kentucky, we're already planning our return. I think we've just found our new favorite getaway! Book yours, tell 'em Gary and Annjeana with Not So Random sent ya! #bestgetaway #tennessee

This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom rental home is located in Franklin, TN which is about 20 minutes outside of the heart of Nashville and it's BEAUTIFUL and incredibly reasonably priced. We loved that it was outside of the heart of downtown because we could relax and really fully enjoy the vacation feel of this home during the day, but then could easily get a driver into the city to party it up at night. We used the car service that the owners of the property recommended, Westhaven Carriage, and they were INCREDIBLY professional. You can tell the owners of this rental home take a lot of pride in their home, from the impeccable Italian inspired interior, to the modern amenities (two dishwashers and a tv in every room for example), and the screened in porch that became our go-to hang out place (even in 90+ degree weather)...everything fit just the way we needed it to for this vacation/celebration. We pretty comfortably had 10 people sleeping in the home (2 people per bedroom plus an extra person in the master bedroom bc it was ENORMOUS and 1 person sleeping on the sectional in the TV room). Although we didn't get to explore Franklin as much as we would have liked (remember it was a bachelorette party)...it's a very historic town and really has its own great character as the icing on the cake to being so close to Nashville.

It was very hard to understand the lady in the office and she was talking really slow.... I let her know I was traveling and I needed to make the reservation quick as I was driving. I booked the deluxe cabin and it was super cute. Bonus that they have a laundry room that's open 24 hours and they had a mini fridge that has a freezer. I say that because I've been traveling across country staying at hotels or other KOA is that don't have ice so I have to go to the gas station to fill my ice chest where the ice is melted in a couple hours. Versus if I have my own freezer and it works good then frozen water bottles last longer. They also have a little fire pit area, playground for the kids, and a pool. We didn't use any of those but it's a great option. Just down the road is two gas stations, a couple restaurants and a McDonald's. So there's not a ton to eat around here. Make sure you go early because a lot of places close early if you wanna eat. It was nice and quiet other than the frogs and crickets. You'll see some interesting bugs and beetles around here also.
