D1 and I became overcome by 'Dumplingus Needextremus' a condition I passed down to her as the carrier of the rare xiao long bao gene. She has been in Pamplona for six months and had the condition in it's worst form. This place is a very satisfactory cure for the dumpling afflicted. Not a patch on Sydney dumpers but good for an urgent fix.

This spot was suggested by my sister, we arrived for Happy Hour. I love the ambiance of this place, the decor was on point. We ordered a variety of items to share & I was pleased with them all. Our drinks were pretty tasty too. I do think it's a bit overpriced for the portion size, but, I would definitely return & recommend it to others.

Ping Pong is my love. It's a chain, but I don't care. Who cares if it's delicious and healthy? I've never actually eaten in the restaurant, but I've picked up the take away. That's a pretty good sign though right, because they've packaged it up, and I have to take it home, unpack it, and it's still phenomenal? Yes I think it's a good sign. Anyway, my husband and I like ordering a bunch of dim sum from their menu and just sharing it. The black prawn dumpling is by far the best dumpling ever ever ever. Holy gazolie it's incredible. We also like the mushroom and scallop, veggie, edamame. Really, they're all very good. I also like their soup- thai style mushroom soup- it's very strong with lemongrass but it's really nice. And their rice pot- tofu, mushroom, and black bean rice pot- it's quite big and delicious. Yay Ping Pong. It's got a lot of variety, and yummy, healthy vegetarian/vegan food. Yum. A great option if you're in a hurry but want something that is warm and not terrible for you.

I really like Ping Pong as it is the perfect place to go with a group of pals and is one of those sociable meals where everyone can tuck in mezze style. The decor is simple, with low seating, dim lighting and square glass tables. We all usually go for selection of dim sum, but I would recommend that if you are hungry or have some manly men with you who enjoy a proper feast, opt for a solo meal. The dim sum is wonderful though, particularly the spicy meat options (there are a number of different types) and the cocktail list is quite extensive. The lavender herbal teas are interesting as come in a glass and as you drink, the leaves expand - the innocent tea became quite the talking point of our table! It does get expensive however as it is easy to get carried away with the ordering so I would recommend you make firm decisions at the start of the meal as to how much you want. Definitely a winner for me though as the place is relaxing, fun and a sociable way to have a meal with friends.

I know everyone raves about Ping Pong, and rightly so. Clean, minimal interirors, funky menus and staff who know the dim from their sum, it's a great place for a first date, or just meeting with friends. All the Ping Pong restaurants have a great vibe, but i really like this one in particular as it's always got a great buzz. Yes, the dim sum are delicious, but to go for a decent meal if you're hungry, it's not great value as I usually get distracted by the relatively cheap price per plate, but having to order copious amounts to feel satisfied. They have an enormous list of dim sum, with a variety of fillings and they really are divine. I'd recommend not going in super-starving though, unless you're willing to part with some serious cash!

There are two floors to this PP so even if it looks busy give it a go if you're passing and looking for some dim sum. The whole chain is all 'cocktail Chinese food' - it's set to quite modern, slightly westernized design and most the clientele are usually local office workers with a smattering of tourist. The colours are much darker and atmospheric than a traditional Chinese restaurant and the menu reflects this in it's more minimalist edge. I think your best bet is to share a few dishes between the people you're eating with as most of the dim sum is typically small and bite size so you can easily mix and match. Prices aren't extortionate but again more than you'd pay in a more just off Chinatown sort of location. Try the jasmine tea after, they serve it so that the plant sort of flower's as you drink it. Give it a go.

The atmosphere was great, the food tasted fresh and was, for the most part, great/delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is a bit pricey, and some items were ok in taste, but not great. Solid four stars.

From the street, this place looked empty and sketchy, but once inside, it opens up into a huge, and well-frequented, restaurant. The dim sum was not presented in the way I am used to - on a tray, pushed by an old Chinese woman, and you just grab what you want. In this joint, you order from a menu, like tapas. But it was still good stuff.

Everything was so delicious, and there were several other dishes I would have loved to have tried. I wish I had taken pictures of more dishes, but they all looked so good that we all just dug right in! Our server highly recommended the shrimp bean curd dish, and I am so glad she did. That's not something I would've ordered on my own, but my husband & I agreed it was our favorite dish of the night. My daughter's favorite (and my 2nd favorite) was the wagyu beef puff. I also loved everything in the steamed dim sum platter. The only thing that was mildly disappointing was the softshell crab. Softshell crab is usually one of my favorites, but it was just sort of bland. But overall the food was amazing. I just wanted to keep trying more & more things, even though I was stuffed! And the service was incredible -- really could not have been better. As a wine nerd, I have to say I don't love their wine service. You can't order a full bottle, only 500 ml or less, which means you're never presented with the bottle, so (in theory) you're never really sure you're actually getting what you ordered or getting a bottle that wasn't opened days ago. That being said, I have no doubt that the wines we were served were correct and relatively freshly opened, but I still would've appreciated proper bottle service. (On the other hand, being forced to buy only 500 ml at a time meant we could try two wines instead of sticking with just one bottle.) The ambiance was lovely -- spacious, sleek, classy, modern, with gigantic aquariums. This restaurant will be at the top of my list to revisit next time I'm in London!

I must admit I was wary cause of the raiting but a local friend of mine; insisted on his recommendation and I gave in. I'm glad I did. The food was pretty good. Ordered a bit of everything to try out and it was delicious. The service was not amazing. Even when the restaurant was not very busy; seemed like the staff was more interested in their chats than to help around the patrons. Also, every time they will bring something it felt like a bothersome. I am only giving 4 starts purely on the food. If I count the service; I may give 3

I especially liked the pork cheung fun and the crispy noodles with pork. The xiao long bao and egg custards were good too. It was about 25 GBP per person, which is not bad for this quality of dim sum. The staff are pretty friendly and surprisingly hospitable - even for a slow eater like myself, I did not feel rushed at all and they often came by to refill my water whenever they noticed it getting low. The service speed is also very fast. There was a ~10 min wait to get in on Sunday afternoon, which isn't too bad at all. While the food didn't quite wow me enough for a full 5 stars, I would probably give Orient London 4.5 stars if I could. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good dim sum in London.

Can you tell I don't get out much? At least for drinks. Anyway. We came here with some friends and took advantage of their 2 for 1 offer (meaning you get two drinks for 10 pounds). It impressed me that they served really good drinks for such a good price. I personally loved The Last Word (super strong but great flavour) and the Elderflower Margarita (YUM!). They both packed a punch but weren't so overpowered with liquor that they didn't taste nice. The bar staff was fun as well. The one that wasn't popular was the honey one. I can't remember the name but none of us liked it. It's a cool bar!

I was gonna give this place 3 stars, but on reflection of the whole experience it's a definite 2,…read more2.5 at an absolute push. And I don't give out 2 stars lightly. This was one of the few places the bf and I had booked to go to during a brief 3-day trip to London, due to the 2 for £10 cocktails and general good reviews it had. I kinda wish we hadn't! Upon arrival the place was practically empty (but it was like bang on 6pm on a Monday, so a lot of people hadn't arrived for happy hour yet) and staff showed us where our reserved booth was. All good to start off with, the place looks pretty cool inside and the tunes were good too. Here's where it starts to go downhill. I skipped up to the bar having decided with the bf which cocktails to get (at this point we didn't realise 2 for £10 meant two of the SAME cocktail, because they never mention it) and ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri for the bf, plus a Chocolate Martini for myself. Nope, couldn't get the one I wanted as they were out of chocolate liqueur, so it was back to my seat to try and decide on another. I was gutted but excited about my next choice, the Show Me The Honey. NOPE. They were out of honey vodka so I couldn't have that one either! I get that obviously it's a busy bar at weekends, but I thought that was an extremely poor show - the staff weren't hugely apologetic about it either which didn't exactly help. Finally deciding on a Russian Spring Punch (yay, they had all the ingredients for that one!) I ordered the drinks. The bartender said "you know it's 2 for £10 yeah?" but again didn't mention the fact that it's two of the same cocktail for £10. Once he started making up the drinks I of course caught on to what was happening, whereupon he looked at me like I was an idiot for not knowing something they never openly tell you. Great. I begrudgingly paid for our drinks (I wouldn't really have minded except the bf wasn't sure if he'd want more than one cocktail and we now possessed four, plus I was really wanting to try a couple of cocktails instead of two of the same one) and went back to the booth, more than a bit deflated by this point. The cocktails were...fine. The champagne in my cocktail wasn't the nicest but it did the job of course. The atmosphere in the bar was...also fine. But that was it. Fine. It stayed pretty quiet the whole time we were there and I guess just wasn't the whole cocktail bar experience I was expecting. We then made our way to Cahoots where we had an absolute belter of a time and it totally saved our night, goes to show that sometimes you really do get what you pay for!
