I recently purchased a preowned Goldwing and wanted some accessories removed from the bike. I was…read moreon my way to LaCrosse and happened to see this place from the road. (It's on a main drag thru town and you can't miss it.) I walked in, asked if they could help me out, they said yes and we brought the bike into the back of the shop into the service area. Out of curiosity, I wanted to watch the guy remove the stuff. I know that this is sacred ground and that mechanics HATE for the owners to be present while they're working. The guy was really nice and showed me everything he was doing. (I think he sensed that I wasn't questioning his ability, but rather, I wanted to just learn from him.) Once all the stuff was removed, I had a huge inventory of heavy stuff (chrome floorboards, passenger armrests, etc...). My bike was fully packed and I didn't want to leave the accessories behind because they were worth money. The guy suggested that they ship the stuff to me. They said they'd be in contact when it was ready to ship and I could give them the credit card info to pay for shipping. I agreed, paid a small price for all the work, and went to meet my friends for a great riding weekend. When I came back, I waited a few days for a call and then, viola!, my stuff had arrived. They paid for the shipping! I have never gotten service this good anywhere in my whole riding life (12 years)! Jay was actually there to talk to customers. He's super-nice and knowledgable. I don't live around there, but I'll be back whenever I'm in town again. They ROCK.

The service department not good at all over the past month brought in for a new belt. Was told the clutch was bad found the water pump was leaking so under warranty they fixed took them 3 weeks and than returned it to me like the photo below. Took it back to them got the response that they had to put new hose clamps on. Tested fine so they gave me it back 2 days later same thing so back up there again now was told it's leaking at another fitting and will be Friday till the parts come in. So out of a month I've had it for 3 days able to drive it once. I would not recommend going to this place anymore as they don't communicate unless you call or go there. And there service has went down hill

After not having a motorcycle for over 20 years, I caught the bug again after buying a dirt bike…read morefor my son. I started doing research, and settled on a dual sport bike so I could ride with my son on our property, but also tool around the bluffs out in the driftless. Trail riding and some commuting is on my agenda too. I went to 4 dealerships looking for the ideal bike. BMW, Royal enfield, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, etc. Travis at Mad City Powersports knew exactly what I was looking for after casually speaking for a few minutes. He guided me through the process, showed me several options, and I settled on a Kawasaki KLX300. It's just enough bike capability wise to be entertaining on and off road. The sales process was easy, Travis called me when it arrived, made an appointment, and explained all about it. Zero pressure. It is clear that Travis is passionate and knowledgeable about dirt and street bikes. The store itself is well laid out, with lots of accessories. After I purchased the bike, I noticed that the Kawasaki website listed $400 in savings. I called Travis, who looks into it for me and concurred that I was due $400. I suggested putting it on a gift card. Travis went out of his way to drop it off at my business. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a motorcycle, 4 wheeler, snowmobile, utv, boat, etc.
