Had a fun filled time here at Pingles Farm market. Very kid friendly. They had a little barn, with some farm animals, a jumping area for kids, huge tube slides, corn maze and food stations. They do have portable washrooms. Food and drinks can get very pricey, but you can bring your own snacks/food. The market is spacious and sells everything from sweet treats, popcorn, plushies and everything in between. My kids had a blast.
The farm may be nice to visit once, but with steep prices and massive crowds I would be hesitant to visit again, especially on a beautiful weekend. While there are plenty of activities to keep young and old amused, you'll certainly feel the pinch after entry fees, expensive food and drink, and separate picking fees for each crop. Smaller bags/baskets or a mix and match deal would be awesome! Friendly staff and free samples in the market. Apple selection was vast but strawberries were very picked over and would benefit from a bit of a rest. Beware too few washrooms that get clogged very easily!
The Pingle's Farm Market is located right beside Pingle's farm which is perfect for a nice snack or lunch break. Not to be confused with their event space, this retail space includes fresh baked goods and fridge/frozen items to take home. Also tons of fresh fruit and vegetables. Everything looked fresh. On this occasion, we got a s'mores donut from the bakery. We loved that the donut was moist yet light. The toppings were not overly sweet. Great donut overall. Would come back to try more items.
A haven for kids and families. We went for tulip picking and the kids enjoyed the bouncy trampoline, the slides, hay bales and tire climbing. Tulip picking is really fun and beautifully landscaped - they make it look like Holland. Lots of photo opps abound! The bakery is lovely; their pies are great, as well as their butter tarts. There is plenty of food to purchase for lunch as well. It's a nice place to hangout on a weekend with friends or family.
This review is based on Pingle's Farm Market's Retail Market & Bakery. It's a breath of fresh air, quite literally, and a darling feast for the senses. Your eyes, nose and taste buds will thank you for paying the Market a visit. Especially after purchasing their delectable baked goodies and subsequently eating them on the spot. Price point is elevated. Some of their ready made, refrigerated food items are of higher quality, and sourced from local Ontario products reminded me of shopping at Farm Boy, or Whole Foods, scratch-made recipes from The Food Network's Pioneer Woman. I saw people buying Cinnamon Buns, fancy Donuts, Scones and many pies. That day they had apple pie, apple caramel pie, berry pie, vintage berry pie, peach pie, pumpkin pie, rhubarb pie and blueberry pie. At one point I considered buying a smorgasbord of baked goods to bring home to the family, but thankfully reconsidered that thought. The modified purchase was a sweet, crunchy and crumbly Apple Crumble, which was eaten with some ice cream back at home. The other parts of the haul included almost a half dozen cookies - the classic chocolate chip cookie - which was super soft and delicious if consumed moments after leaving the market! About the cookies. The cookie was so tasty I couldn't possibly imagine someone wanting to set it aside for a few days. But if you accidentally do forget about the cookies, try reheating in the oven for a short while, if it's just one day or two days later, they can reheat well in the oven. However there is no taste comparison with the freshly baked cookie eaten moments after buying it. Of course it was much better than the 2-day old cookies which were reheated in the oven. Along with purchasing way too many items to itemize on this review, ahem, boxes of strawberries, peas, crafts, and other such goodies, I did run back to the store to buy more baked goods. For special events, like Father's Day, they partnered with craft beer vendors like Slabtown Cider, Rouge River Brewing, Town Brewery, Sir Monty's Brewing Company, and Falcon Brewing Company. Only for special events they open up their smoke station to offer Smoked Brisket Sandwiches ($22) which was a House-smoked brisket, carved to order with horseradish cracked black pepper aioli, apple infused BBQ sauce and hickory sticks. They also served Cheeseburgers, Double-Stacked Cheeseburgers, Vegan Mushroom Melt Combos ($20) which were House-made mushroom vegan patties, onions, pickles, balsamic vegan aioli, arugula and pickled onions served on homemade sourdough focaccia. Fried asparagus, poutine, chicken fingers and fries. Strawberry Rhubarb Slushy ($8), chocolate strawberries, and the ultimate Scoop & Slice for 2 Sundae, which was vanilla soft serve, layered with hand pies, sauce, garnished with a hand pie and fresh fruit.
I've been coming to Pringles post pandemic when they slowly started to open up again to the public. I have to say every year they have improved the experience at the farm. Expanding the grounds, the market, activities, food offerings. It's amazing what they do for those visiting. There is parking right next to the front but also ample overflow parking next door to them. Every season they decorate and curate engaging activities. One main reason I love visiting is they are pet friendly. They offer fun things for dogs as well. My dog loves coming. As soon as we turn in he goes crazy with excitement. I visited on Thanksgiving. I knew it would be busy and it was packed!! But I have to say the staff were really friendly and efficient. I didn't feel overwhelmed at the crowds. Even the line for the wagon ride was efficient and they had so many wagons coming and going. This year I have to say they went all out. The pumpkin displays, the live music, all the booths selling goods all across the property. It was such a beautiful and fun day. I bought a few pumpkins, caramel corn, pecan tarts and other items from the market. Always an enjoyable experience. Big kudos to the owners and staff! They really put in a lot of effort in making your experience memorable!
Such a great farm to visit for a day trip with friends and family! First of all, the shop/bakery has a large variety of home canned and jarred goods, meats, pre picked fruits. The little bakery at the back has the best selection of donuts, bars, cookies, pastries, and even includes gluten free and other options. All of these were for great prices! We got some donuts to share and they were amazing and fresh! We also picked some strawberries, they have a lot in the fields in mid July, and we were able to quickly fill our baskets. The lavender fields are also beautiful! There's a swing and purple piano to pose with for instagram pictures. There's also a picnic area and small zoo. There's only 2 washrooms but they were very clean. Lots to do for kids and adults alike! Highly recommend
This review is strictly for the Harvest Festival. Ample amount of parking at the farm, it was a bit chaotic when we arrived. Even if you have purchased a ticket online, you will still have to get into the line, which did move along swiftly. Plenty of activities for children (animals on farm, hay climb, tractor ride, maze, play area and much more) For adults, different levels of maze to go through, get those insta worth pictures and some games. Entry was decent, food however is pricy. $13 for poutine, chai hot chocolate was our favourite $10, corn for $10+. There is a market with plenty of items to choose from. Overall enjoyed spending a Sunday evening at the farm. Just be prepared to use fancy portapotty.
We've been to Pingle's quite a few times and always have a great experience. Visiting their corn maze is an annual tradition and we always have lots of fun. There are a bunch of stations hidden throughout the maze and it's quite a challenge to find them all without looking at the map too much, so it takes around two hours to complete it. The food here is pretty good and definitely better than we were expecting. The Chunky Chili Poutine was really flavourful and was a great portion. I would have liked more chili in the bowl and less of the potato chips, but I really enjoyed it. We also got the Maple Bacon Chicken and Waffles, and it was great as well. We loved the chicken but the waffles seemed like basic store-bought waffles when were hoping for some freshly made. We had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes to get our food which was a little frustrating. The wagon ride is always nice but they make no effort to enforce social distancing or make people wear masks, so it can be pretty uncomfortable if the wrong people sit beside you. The pumpkin patch is a nice place to walk around, but despite being right next to the parking lot they force you to take the wagon ride back. On the way out we got our free butter tarts and bought a couple of drinks. I got the hot apple cider and loved it, so I would definitely get it again. My partner got the pumpkin spice coffee, and we were pretty frustrated that they said they ran out of the pumpkin spice donuts after we had already paid. The donut costs $3.50 on it's own and is certainly included in the price of the coffee, so we were shocked they charged us full price without offering any substitution. Overall it was a fun day at the farm and we'll definitely be back again next year, but there were more than enough moments today that left us scratching our heads.
We came here for the day and had a really good experience. We purchased the weekend foodie experience. Each ticket comes with access to all of the events, an adventure through the maze, live music, farm animals, kids zone and much more. The Maze: We came for the corn maze. This is the first maze I have ever been through and it was really fun to find our way out of the maze. We got through each zone really easily with the exception of the final zone. We did three circles in the last zone before finding our way out. It was fun to go through and we like how they have interactive games for kids throughout the maze. There is a word search, colouring activity and a magic map view. They also had a bridge mid-way with a person dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland. We took a photo from the bridge and continued along. The Food: It's definitely worth it to purchase the food package. The normal admission costs $15 and all of the lunches cost about $20 making the $30 Foodie package a good deal. It comes with a meal, drink, entry to the exhibit, and an apple cider. -Unbeetable Vegan Burger: I ordered the vegan and gluten free burger with a side of Chile. The burger was made with beets and lentils and it was absolutely amazing. They also gave me a gluten free bun and I was really happy with the meal and flavour. The only part I didn't love was the Chile. I found the Chile a little too greasy for my liking and I'm glad I picked the burger with a side of Chile instead of making the Chile my sole entree. Beefed up Double Cheeseburger: My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger and he said it was really good and filling. He was happy with his burger entree and like me he was disappointed with his Chile dish. He also found it too greasy. Ambiance: There was a stage with live music and employees cleaning the picnic tables and wagon as soon as they became empty. The farm was doing an excellent job at keeping the area clean during the pandemic. I would definitely recommend visiting the farm. We also loved how there was always a table available for us to sit and eat our meal and drinks. Would we return? Absolutely!
A great place to take small kids to allow them to run and play in a safe area. There are a lot of animals to see on your way in as well as in the barn. There's a lot of space between activities and not a ton of shade. There's a sandbox, a big slide, wagon rides as well as a bubble station. The waggon ride will take you to the pick your own areas that are currently open or you can just stay on the ride and do a full circle. It's nice when you need somewhere to sit down in the shade. There's also food trucks as well as live music in the afternoon. There are two stores, one at the exit and if you walk past the donut restaurant there is also a store with produce and baked goods. read more

Fun place for families! Lots to do and good price to get in. Wild flowers are very nice. Lots of bees of course as expected. Man working lemonade stand was very nice! Lemonade was really good. Would go back! read more

October review: It was a good place to explore, live guitarist in the evening (Friday during Harvest Festival), picnic tables set up with food and drink stations to go up and order from. Lots of stuff to do for kids. Corn maze, hay rides, a very lame mini-putt course, bouncy thing to jump on, tube slides, farm animals, little educational things set up all around. Food review: Poutine was average, chilli was edible, but I wouldn't order it again. Was kind of more like a Bolognese sauce lol . The mocha latte was good, but really better off sharing if you can (I thought it was too big for one person, and it was $9). I thought it was a bit pricey (especially if you were a family with kids). Lots of great options in the food market and bakery. Bought an excellent steak and veggies from there too! Great quality apples to choose from and little photo spots all over. Nice flowers (mums) and things to put as porch decorations. Lots of pumpkins and gourds to choose from. Overall had a really nice time, just can't go every day because of the $$$. I think it was a $5 per person picking fee and $25 for a 10lb bag of apples. read more
