I haven't gone apple picking since I was 5 LOL, so I was bored and decided to look for apple picking place near me to go to it with my parents. I got there close to noon and there was a lot of cars parked on the side of the street already so I was thinking it was already full but luckily there were lots of parking inside. It was $15 per person which includes a 5lb bag or additional $12 for every 5lb. After I paid, they asked if I was looking for any specific types of apples. I told them I was looking for honeycrisps but I also knew I was a week late. The guy was nice and told me that they were low on them (as expected) but they had another orchid in the back that still had a few more. They weren't as big but I still managed to get 3 bags full. There was also people picking veggies but I wasn't sure if that was allowed since I didn't see anything posted on the website about it. read more

Great spot for strawberry picking but highly recommend to not go on a weekend. Their parking lot is quite small and they often overflow to the street (tenth line) so you have to parallel park on the dirt road and walk back to the farm. Cars can drive quite close by. Or get dropped off inside the lot especially if you have littles. There is a short wagon ride to the fields and the crops were abundant this year. Lots of big berries! The shop by the entrance has ice cream and baked goods as well. Friendly staff. $17 admission includes a 2L basket. read more

We came by September to pick apples. We had picked some empire and honey crisp apples. They were delicious! It's $17 a person for admission fee which includes a 5lb bag! It's not cheap but the quality is definitely there. We love organic apples since apples are on the dirty dozen list. We love the whole experience of picking our own on an amazing sunny day the staff as super nice, there were lots of apples left to be picked. Parking lot is quite small, I suggest to carpool if you're coming in a larger group. We definitely recommend this farm :) Will be back next year! read more

Came by for pick your own recently. We called in advance to see what the strawberry yield might be and found out raspberry season was just starting. It was quite busy on a beautiful weekend so we weren't surprised. The staff was very nice and friendly. They gave us advice for picking, we paid ($16 per person) and went in. There's a tractor you can take out to where the strawberries (10 min walk) and raspberries (6 min walk) are. We opted to walk since it was so beautiful outside. Unfortunately, it really was the end of strawberry season. A lot were burnt by the sun or were too soft, especially on the bottoms. After little luck, we decided to pick raspberries only. The buckets are different so we made sure we filled the correct one. There were a lot more raspberries and we worked hard to fill our buckets. Be careful because the raspberry bushes have thorns! We also stopped by the shop on the way out. We'll be back for apple season. read more

4.5 stars Came here yesterday because it's STRAWBERRY season! I love making Japanese strawberry shortcake whenever I get my hands on strawberries, and this year was no exception! Got there just before noon, and I could see that it was packed as the parking was small, but people were leaving, and I was able to get a spot (lucky me). Got to the counter just outside and a young lady told me admission per person 3 and up was $14, you get a 2litre basket any additional would cost more money. I saw the 2 litre basket and was not satisfied so I opted for the 7litre basket lmao. You can wait for the tractor to pick you up and drop you off at the strawberry farm or you can walk there yourself, it's about a 10 minute walk. I just walked, since the tractor seemed to take so long and I couldn't wait as I was too excited. Right when you get there, you can smell sweet strawberries in the air, and there was a bunch of little families looking for the reddiest, juiciest littles rubies Mother Nature had to offer this year. I was told if you walk deeper up the hill is where you'll find the best ones. Found myself a nice spot to pick and went off! Within an hour, I was able to fill my 7 litre basket of strawberry goodness and headed back (this time by tractor, because my noodle arms aren't made to carry 7 litres worth of strawberries and walk back in sweltering heat)! Got back to the same counter and handed the young lady my receipt of admission, and she deducted $14 off for the 7 litre basket (the basket was $42, so $42-$14=$28). We came here last week for honey crisp apples and got there around 11am. There were already a handful of families leaving or going in so I definitely would recommend going in the morning before everything is picked out. The entrance fee includes a small bag of apples and I was able to fit around 10-12 average sized apples. They tasted GREAT btw! A perfect balance of sweet and tart and alot of crunchiness. We were done picking within an hour and checked out their shop. I got their apple butter as it sounded tasty but it tasted more or less like regular applesauce. There are no other activities on the farm so be prepared to plan your day accordingly. read more

Apple picking review Came for the apple "Honey crisp" on a Sunday after ready to pick date of Friday. Apparently this apple is so hot it was picked out in two days!(last year) I won't make that mistake this year! The other species were good for eating too or making apple pie and crisp, so not all was lost. Liked how trees are pruned short for easy picking. Tips - arrive early for a parking spot, otherwise you're walking down a dirt road - apple orchards types are organised by coloured ribbon, they explained it but I forgot once on course - paper bag given with admission gets frail if moist or wet(apple morning dew) so bring a plastic or reusable bag on top - shoes can get muddy - store sells a really yummy hot honey, goes good on everything like pizza! - outside oven baking fresh hot treats can disappear quick, so rush to get your heavy delicious apple crumble! -- no other amusement for kids, just picking fruit or buying stuff. read more

A good place to go berry picking but lacking a few essentials. Number one is a scale to weigh people's containers so they can use their own. Instead they either want you to buy the cardboard ones they are selling or read what the label says on the bottom of the container you brought. I had an Ikea salad bowl that didn't give the amount it holds so they lent me a used 4 litre containers(but not without offer to sell me one first), which actually limited how much I could pick. I would have picked more if they had a scale and let me use my own container like every other berry farm. I also would have hoped an organic farm would have had more of a 're-use' ethic, encouraging people to use their own containers rather than pushing single use items and eye-balling amounts. The selection of goods at the farm market was fairly limited. We went on a weekday early afternoon and there was only one piece of bread left and a few pies. The berry picking is the main reason to go though. I had to do a bit more digging around than I did at the non-organic farm nearby last year but it paid off, the berries were ripe and juicy but not quite as big. It's about a 5mins walk through the woods and mud to get to the berry patch and they are only just putting in a gravel road now so we had to walk past bulldozers and tractors digging up the way. Hopefully they get that under control so that it's easier for people to access. All and all not as great as I had hoped it to be but I'd still give it another chance since it's probably the only certified organic u-pick game in town. read more

It's okay. Came here for the apple picking. First of all, the price per lb for the apples was good. However, what I didn't like is that there is a $10 minimum purchase PER PERSON (over 3yrs). We brought a 4yr old, so we had to buy $30 of apples. You know how many apples make up $30? Way too many f'n apples!!! We ended up leaving with a massive amount. We saw others do the same. They should reduce the minimum IMO. Either make it per adult, or make it $5 (or less) a person. At the current rates, a family that comes with 3 young kids would have to buy $50 of apples?!?! What makes this minimum even more ridiculous is that they ran out of apples (most likely because earlier people had to pay $10 worth each)!! So people who drove later in the day got very few apples for their $10 pp. We came across several unhappy families later in the day. This could have easily been avoided if they didn't force people to buy so many. So why 3 stars despite the stupid policy? As I mentioned, the apple price is good. So what about the apples themselves? They were okay? For apples called "SWEET sixteen", you'd expect something sweet. But these were really tart... very similar to green apples. And this just isn't my opinion... We had a great time here. We didn't bring our own basket, next time we will. We bought a large basket from the farm for $1 and it cost $16 to fill it. So $17 total for fresh, delicious, organic strawberries. We took a tractor ride to the patch and the driver gave us suggestions on where to find the best berries. We really didn't have to walk far. As soon as we got into the patch we saw lots of big red berries. We filled our basket quickly and stayed within a ten foot stretch of patch. The farm was busy, a steady stream of people coming and going, but the patch wasn't crowded. We were fortunate that the tractor was just getting ready to leave back to the front gate when we were done. Although, there was a nice shady area to wait if we had to. We will definitely be back, and we will check out the apple picking in the fall! read more

We went here two weeks ago for strawberry picking. It was very hot, but the strawberries were really good. The farm also has really good strawberry pies and wood oven pizzas. I do find it a bit more expensive - $24 for the strawberries for two people and $10 for a pizza, and $10 for a pie. read more

I love this place! The best strawberries, raspberries and apples at really great prices. Yes, there is a minimum purchase but pretty much all pick your own farms have this policy. We don't mind as picking fresh organic fruit right here in Markham is a huge benefit to all the regulars, like me. The baked bread and pastries are delicious! You can also find honey, beeswax candles, coffee and tea, as well as small bags of organic flour. There's also meat and cheese and veggies. Overall you can't beat the price and the quality. I love this place!!!!!!!! I'm so happy every time I come here. I picked raspberries and apples before and each time I had a lot of fun! The price is reasonable as well. They have a little bakery and shop where you can find some more organic goodies! I've been coming to this farm for years and I enjoyed my experience. This farm does not have attractions such as animals, farmers market, mazes etc. but their fruits are delicious, fresh (obviously) and they have many different kinds of apples in the fall. My favorite type is ambrosia because it is very sweet and some of the best apples I have ever tasted. I recommend coming early in the season for the best selection, choice and easy picking as things get picked out quite quickly! It's not like going to the store where they just restock :P They charge a minimum fee per person which is basically for the price of the fruit so you have to make sure you pick at least that amount to get your value back. read more
