It's fun and interesting. We have done some scavenger hunt around the farm and BBQ catering. The admission fee is $13.99+tax per person on weekdays and $15.99+tax per person on weekends and holidays. This farm has some performance times, animals, apple picking, and wagon train rides. Especially, a farm dog Norman walks around the farm unleashed. We couldn't chase him, hold him or run with him, otherwise, he would bite you. The farm is big to stay for whole day, and more activities than other farms that only for veggies picking. But still a little bit expensive for admission fee for each person.

When we arrived the first thing my mom saw was a plant that was potted in the front. She said it looked like a plant called Dasheen, she was ready to ask if it was for sale LOL! Dasheen is kinda like spinach! It's taste so good when cooked with white belly shrimp. We picked up quite a few veggies (hot peppers, corn, kale, tomatoes, eggplant and cabbage). So soon as we got home we boiled the corn and added some paprika on it. It was so sweet, it didn't need butter! I would say the hot peppers were more on the mild side. But I did eat one that super hot. Hopefully next time we go we'll pick our own vegetables.

You can buy the vegetables that they have already picked or you take plastic bags and scissors, and go out into the fields yourselves. We took a few bags and went on our way. The kids were excited to look at all the plants and see the produce growing from them. I'd recommend city dwellers take their children here and show them where their vegetables come from. We ended up picking some green peppers(bell peppers), long peppers and green chillies. We also purchased some ready picked courgettes(zucchini) and green beans. They also have 3/4 different types of aubergines(eggplant), bitter melons, tomatoes, sweetcorn, watermelons, melons and many other varieties of vegetables. Most of the vegetables are priced at only 99 cents/lb or $1.29/lb, which makes them very reasonable. We ended up paying only $6.15 for all our veg. Great place to go and pick up some fresh produce.

At the apple section, there were so many different types of apples like honey crisp, red delicious, fiji and more. They give you bags to grab your apples in and have constant rotation of trackers that bring you back to the farm/ car park area once you're done. We spent about 1.5-2 hours here apple picking and enjoying our time. Once we got back to the farm/ market we did some shopping for produce as well since everything was so fresh. Got a jar of honey and some corn. The apple bags were paid by weight, if you didn't have a full bag or you can pay $40 for a full bag of apples that you picked. It's pricey but so worth the delicious hard earned apples that you picked yourself. Overall, such a great experience and would do it again next year.
