My son came out of his appointment for the final portion and said I don't think the guy knew what he was doing at all. Prior to the last procedure both my wife and myself spoke with the office to ensure that we would not need any adjustment to his retainer after the procedure, while we waited for the next steps. Both people we spoke with assured us he would be fine. We were NOT fine. His retainer DID NOT fit and we were basically told "too bad". My son is a teenager and they essentially told us he was fine to be missing two front teeth for over a month. He spent his entire school vacation in his room until we were able to contact his orthodontist to fix his retainer. If they had told us the truth from the onset we would have had the retainer fixed that same day. After all that, we decided NOT to use the office they recommended for his teeth, and we were shocked (well not really) that the East Bay put in healing caps that were too small AND one of the implants was crooked! Thankfully the office we used took care of both issues. But when they called East Bay they were also shocked at how rude the lady on the phone was. Stay AWAY from this place!!! Not recommended at all.

I thought he was a decent dentist but I was a little dismayed by the fact that his office, in a converted house, was still very house-like and he definitely didn't pride himself on keeping up-to-date on new technologies (as a funny example, all of his bills were still on old-school paper ledgers - I guess he was afraid of computers). A couple of years ago, after being in Seekonk (my new hometown) for four years, I finally decided that it was time to find a new dentist. I was a little hesitant to go to a new dentist as you just never know which ones are quality dentists. I was referred to Dr. Molak by my wife and let me say, I am a fan for life! Pros: 1. His office is in a converted house like my former dentist but you wouldn't know it upon entering. Bright, clean, and inviting. 2. SiriusXM! I use SiriusXM for 75% of my waking hours and he is always playing good music which can help to calm you down (if you're a fraidy cat...not me!). 3. All of his associates are friendly, like all of them. Not a bad one in the bunch. 4. Dr. Molak is awesome. He's friendly, professional, and knows how to put you at ease with whatever procedure you're getting. My opinion is to stay away from the franchise dentist places or large practices as they're going to be out for getting as much revenue as they can. This means they might try to get you to undergo costly and potentially unnecessary procedures. Stick with a dentist who owns his own practice, stays up-to-date on the latest procedures, and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Molak is all of that which is why he comes highly recommended by me.

I don't even remember the "count from ten" moment (I don't think there was one), and woke up before I knew it. I originally went in on an emergency case basis, and have continued my care from there. Dr. Patil is just wonderful. He and his staff made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in. He explains everything clearly, reviews all treatment options, and provides pain free care. I had two root canals performed by him and never felt any pain at all. He even called me personally the morning after a particularly difficult procedure just to make sure I was feeling well. I have never felt so at ease at the dentists office! Their appointments do book up quickly, but you can always leave a note that you would like to come in earlier for an appointment should one open up (and they actually follow up for you!). The office was just remodeled and is very comfortable.. all treatment rooms are private.
