I came here for my wedding/vow-renewal nails today, and I'm pretty happy with what I got! Unfortunately with wedding/vow renewal coming up in 2 days I've been a bit scatter brained-and neglected to get any photos of the inside of this salon. It was simple, clean, organized, and friendly. I got a manicure, shellac polish, and added design. I never really get designs of any kind but I decided for my wedding I want to go a bit over the top...hard to do when I'm an accent nail, glitter everywhere, neon kind of girl!!! The staff was very friendly and all tools came out of a sealed bag-indicating they were fresh clean Instruments! One of the first shops in Tucson I've been to where they aren't just soaking in a barbicide solution! Kudos for that! My wedding colors are purple and grey, and I asked for that plus wow factor! Manicure was done well, cuticles are clean and my hands feel nice. My polish was a bit of a mishmash of Pinterest ideas. So I decided on purple chunky silver glitter and grey. The pic I showed was DARK purple, which looked a little too Halloween for my wedding g so I went with something lighter. Unfortunately I'm not completely satisfied with the color. I picked a couple slight shades darker than I got - and the sweet lady doing my nails said with the glitter it might not look quite right and opted for the color I have now....slightly too pink for me-and I think I should have stuck to the color I picked out. Glitter glitter glam! I love they way the sparkle turned out, it will represent my glitzy vegas wedding nicely! I didn't like what she had with my pointer finger - a little to chaotic for even me-and she painted it again to be more me! I appreciate that! All in all they're a bit more pink than I wanted-going for purple, but it's 102° still and the brighter purple is appropriate! I would go back-at the total price if $35 I can't complain! I asked him for tapered square/ coffin shape they are all crooked and uneven the acrylic is a bumpy mess around every cuticle and there's noticeable unevenness on the surface of the nails and when I left all of my fingers were covered in a layer of super glue and they didn't even offer to clean it all they did was throw way too much cuticle oil on it and called it done. never going back there. read more

I like this place, they are pretty nice, but they talk soooo much. They talk loud to each other, me, the phone. Whatever.... but lemme tell ya its exhausting and annoying. I just wanna relax, but no, everyone is practically screaming and seemingly over caffeinated, furiously cleaning all around you... jeebus it's irritating. When the woman was doing my nails she was like, "do you like square", I was like I guess and then she made them extremely square also a bit misshapen, kind a blocky and thick on the ends it's not the best gel set I've ever gotten. Run by the husband & wife team of Tommy & Nicki, I have been to OMG three times now to get mani/pedis. They've only been open about four months, but so far I've experienced that they are great with quality, cleanliness, and friendly customer service. (Hence why I'm fast becoming a repeat customer). It's a bit of an obscure location- in a long cornucopia row of small businesses right off of Speedway, just west of Swan (across from the Sprouts shopping center). If you can get past the heavy traffic, once inside the salon- it's peaceful & clean, almost zen-like, with it's pale yellow walls and white wicker furniture. They took over from the previous salon called "Nail Place." I'm impressed with the work they do, and they definitely know how to take care of their customers. Best of all, a mani/pedi combined is only $35. They give you a free bottled water, and the last time I went with my daughter, they gave us each a small ziplock bag of shelled peanuts- which was (I guess) as a snack and to keep you entertained while in the massage chair. Waxing services, facials, acrylics, and added spa services (massage) are also available. You can call for an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. Tommy is entertaining, and will make you laugh with all his stories. Nicki is quiet, and she is great with waxing & massage. Almost afraid that my secret spot won't be a secret any longer- but this couple does such a great job- they deserve to be recognized. read more

My roommate spoke up for me and said she has asked you 4 times not to use that color She finally took it off left traces of it around edges of my nails and said I was talking that's why I put wrong color on I was thinking. It's because you are speaking for the lady who can't speak English and you aren't even paying attention to what I am paying you for Btw the stars were extra 5 dollars In the end they told me we don't have stars we have flowers we paint Really!! The worst shellac/eye brow wax I have ever recieved. I wanted to get my nails painted white and asked the owner if they could do that..he said yes BUT instead of receiving a nice even coat of white nail polish I got a lumpy, uneven layer of nail polish on all of my nails! I pointed it out to the owner (who did my nails) but was told the nail polish should even out when they dry...but they didn't. .to top it off I requested a simple design on one of my nails but was given this horrible crooked black line design that I ended up removing when I got home...i went to get my nails done on Monday and yesterday I noticed that my white nail polish turned a yellowish/light brown color:( they look horrible Don't even get me started on my eyebrows! They only removed the little hairs I had in between my brows and when I pointed it out that I had alot of hair left on top of my brows and underneath, the lady began plucking them out one by one and ended up pinching my skin where I then began to bleed. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I made an appointment, for a shellac mani, spa pedi, and brow wax. I left looking like a drunk 5 year old colored my nails with sharpie. My mani had shellac not only on my nails, but glued to the skin around them, and underneath. It chipped the very next day. I had my toes painted neon orange, and had 2 requests. One, that they cut my nails, not file, as I get in grown toe nails, and I can't trim them myself. And two, that they do a pretty design on my toes for Halloween. Spider wed? Pumpkin face? Whatever was fine. Just something cute. My nails got filed. And painted orange. No design, and my nails are long enough that wearing shoes is uncomfortable. (I prefer very short nails). Ingrown nails are still intact. Fun. My brows. ... well, my uni brow got waxed. That's it. No shaping of any kind. I had to pluck the stray hairs when I got home. What was just insult to injury here is that they insisted on doing my mani/pedi at the same time. I had to put down my book, and twist completely to the left, while keeping my feet still. My sister, a very good friend of ours and myself recently had a bad experience at another establishment. The job they did on our nails was awful. It took quite some time to fix the mistakes, but they did it. Our nails look beautiful, they took their time, fixed all the mistakes, gave us free water, they have free WiFi, and naturally relaxing environment. My sister and I will be returning in 2 weeks and highly recommend this place. They have massage chairs for getting pedicures that work amazingly well. Looking for a great inexpensive pedicure? Go here! I've been to this creatively named place quite a few times now and every time I get a fantastic pedicure with a leg massage and everything for ~$25 and my toes look great for weeks- longer than most pedicures. The same woman is there everytime (the owner?) and she's attentive and kind and always helps pick out my polish. I'd recommend calling ahead since it can be busy and she's sometimes the only person working but it's worth it. went to get my mani/pedi done almost a week ago and I got shellac done and it started chipping five days later ( I thought it was supposed to last at least two weeks..) same with my toe nails... very upsetting due to the fact that I paid a lot of money for the service. I had never been to this nail salon but they had a sign offering $15 for gel color. I had to ring a door bell for them to let me in, for a second I thought they were closed. I felt like the lady was rushed even though I was the only one in there. They ended up charging me another $10 to cut my cuticles so the manicure was average priced. I have heard the gentleman, who I assume owns this place, on several occasions already, actually make additions to the polish selections based on customer preferences.
