I've found my go to nail spa and it's less than 5 min from my place! YAY! :) They do a great job on their gel manicures and nail art. I love it because they have jewels that are not cheap looking like most places. And their designs are very Korean/Japanese like... which is what I've been looking for. They are able to do nail designs that I've found on IG or Korean websites and they have the equipments for it. Love it! Plus they know how to paint your nails. No painting outside of your nails and the edges are clean and neat. They always clean your cuticles before they start and even give you a mini hand massage at the end. Plus the two manicurists that work there are both very sweet and friendly. They've both made me feel at home the 2 times I've been there. Service is excellent! Only downside is that they can't really speak English... So if you're not able to speak Korean it may be a little hard making appointments and telling them what kind of design you want... Something to consider beforehand... Oh... and they only go by appointment because they get booked real quick... I say you need to make an appointment at least a week before. Pink Nail's is probably the best nail salon I have encountered. I have been coming here ever since it has opened for the past 3 years. Here is what I have to say about pink nail. I always get really sick of other nail ladies, but with Vivian, her designs are always fresh and intricate. Trust me, I've dumped so many other ladies because I got SO BORED of them only specializing in "their own type" of design. Vivian on the other hand is really a nail artist that genuinely cares about her nail art. Sometimes I don't even show her a picture and just explain to her what I want, and out of thin air she creates a set of nail designs for me and I have never complained once in my three years with her on her designs. * Always make an appointment! Especially for weekends. I always make my appointments 2 weeks to even a month in advance. Pink Nail is very popular and also designs take a couple hours, so that is why you NEED to book an appointment. * There is ample parking in the parking lot. * Try to bring cash! If you bring cash you can get a stamp on your stamp card, every 10 stamps is a free basic mani. (DOES NOT APPLY FOR CREDIT CARD PURCHASES) * Be patient. If you have alot of designs and crystals like I do.... expect to stay there a couple of hours. There are usually only one other girl working, so respect that they are taking their time to put art onto your nails. * The cost always depends on what you get. Obviously... the more design or more crystals you have, the more it will cost. * Vivian has a iPad filled with hundreds of designs she has done for customers in the past. You can choose your design here or show her pictures of what you want. * Pink Nail does NOT do acrylics. If you have acrylics, go take them off at somewhere else. Pink Nail is a GEL nail specialist. She only has materials to put on and take off for regular paint, or GEL nail paint. * Most of the Crystals she uses are real Swarovski Crystals. This is why they are shiner than all the other nail salons. * In my three years... even with a centimeter high giant diamond crystals on my nails... NONE have ever fallen off. EVER. This is the most important reason I come to pink nail. Every other nail salon I've been to... the crystals always eventually fall off. But Pink Nail, you get what you pay for. I come in a month later with my crystals all still in place. This is quality nail products and service. I read a couple of people bashing on the Owner's personality? down in below yelp reviews and personally I never had a issue with her personality... I mean I don't think everyone in the service industry has to have the same robotic happy go lucky personality. Everyone's personality is different. And there goes the yelp elites lying per usual. ***my rating is solely on the work done on my nails. And it's a C which to me is 3 out of 5 stars. I do not know the name of the woman who did my nails: I am assuming Vivian. I have to say she was polite and very professional. I do not agree with the people complaining about her attitude and service, and I am thankful she was kind to me. I can see she is very creative and good at what she does. She has an ipad full of wonderful nail arts done by her obviously, but I am not 100% satisfied with my nails. My nails are very thin, and I had gel on previously which I took off myself, so she trimmed them down 4mm. I understand that. I got simple gel done: pink tint. I had dried flowers accenting 4 nails. My left thumb has a (skid) mark on the corner. The gel rubbed off or didn't get filled and hence hardened that way. The gem on that nail is not in the middle. That bothers me a lot. It's been a day, and my right index finger has bubbled. That bothers me a lotttt. I got my nails done so it can be pretty on my travel, but I don't want to take pictures of my nails anymore. I prefer my longer naked nails than the nails now. I wasn't going to write a review because I was unsatisfied, and few friends raved about this place and are frequent customers...But after I saw the lift on the gel today, I had to. For more than $50 using my credit card, the nail art quality isn't great. She mentioned she won't be accepting credit cards soon (fyi). I hardly carry cash so that's also another downside of this place. I like acrylic or tips done to my nails, but she doesn't provide that unless it's for wedding customers. Would I go back: no. The nail salon is a little hidden in a orange building next to the shell gas station. The salon is simple. With not too much decor, but it's cute. I found out about Pink Nail by a woman I meet at a Korean market with cute deco nails. Here nails were fabulous and stood out. I called to make an appointment yesterday around 1PM, it was a bit confusing. First I was told 4PM and a second later 3PM then 4PM and 4:30PM. I had to stop whoever was talking to me and reassure me on the time. The girls seem nice, although I wish they would've been friendly and not make my sister and I feel odd. Their work was very detailed. Our pedicures come out beautiful. I've been to many nail salons, Korean, Japanese etc. When we were both done and ready to pay the owner or who I assume it was stood up and looked at our toes to know what she would charge us. "Odd" the girls that did our toes had no idea what to charge us, they don't have a price menu anywhere or it wasn't visible. I've been coming here pretty regularly for a while now--I'd say slightly less than a year. I have gotten gel manicure ($35 + design) and regular pedicure ($25) here. I won't be returning after today due to Vivian's appalling customer service. The first few times it was Vivian who did my gel manicure but the rest of the time it was a few others including Ashley. Here's the tradeoff: Vivian is very good but she has some MAJOR attitude issues, while the rest of her staff are so sweet but their skills are just not worth the money (e.g. your gel will be lumpy and/or too thick, gel will lift/chip too soon, stones will fall off, etc). On slower days, Vivian will not hesitate to talk to her staff about their day, which mostly is gossiping and bashing the difficult customers (yes, with me--a customer--sitting there). On busier days, like today, she will be extremely passive aggressive about what you want done. I wasn't able to get off work on time and was about 10 mins late to the appt. Of course, I called 20-25 mins before my appt time to let her know. As I walked in I even apologized for being late (to which she didn't bother responding). Now, once I showed Ashley (who did my gel mani today) the design I wanted, Vivian waltzes over to Ashley and asks what is it that I want done. When I showed her the picture off of my phone, she goes "mmm..." "well..." So I ask why? She just then asks if there's any other design I might possibly want. So, again, I ask her why, should I have picked a cuter design? She just responds as she walks away (yes, as she walks away) that it's because they don't have time since I was soooo late. She then says whatever it's fine, it won't take that long. Well, this next customer she was so worried about came so late that Vivian thinks aloud whether she'd forgotten her appointment altogether. She charged me $55 for gel mani with design and $25 for pedi. I should add that the design cost depends on her mood of the day. I'd say she was having a shitty day today. read more

I was never 100% satisfied, but I really had nowhere else to go back then. Reading through the other reviews, seems like other people were also on the receiving end of her bad customer service. Got a pedicure done this past week. It was very well done. The lady was nice and didn't trick me into paying extra for added services that I never wanted to begin with (which happens quite often at other nail places!) Make sure to call in for appointments. There is only one manicurist/pedicurist there I think and she is not available on Tuesdays. I preferred this so much more than places that are crowded, feet everywhere, with possibly illegal amounts of nail polish smell in the air. This place was clean and quiet!! I got my nails done a couple of weeks ago and my experience was horrible. The lady who shaped my nail was very polite and respectful.. however the owner who did the rest of my nails was the worst. She started asking me what color and design I wanted to do then she asked me how old I was.. after I told her she stopped talking to me and just continued to talk to other customers & ignored me .. I heard her tell the other customers it was okay to pay in card even though they're "cash only" and when I gave her my card her facial expression changed and said she can't "give me any discounts" next time and to make sure I bring cash.. bish I barely did anything to my nails and you charged me $45.. Vivian's service and manner is comical. She has a major attitude issue and I've never seen a business owner in such a sour mood, who treats her customers with that much passive aggression. She put down an older woman for complimenting her and insulted her for seemingly sucking up. Also, she thinks her skills are great enough to treat people this way. She completely forgot I was waiting three feet from her for about 15 minutes because she was busy contemplating schedules and pushing around her employee. I had to ask her if she's going to do her work in order for her to turn around and tone down her attitude. Of course, once she got to work, she thought she will decide what will look best on me. Her design looked annoyingly childish on me. And she clipped off part of my skin at the bed of my nails and made it bleed. She insisted to cut my cuticles to showed off how well she does it, when I specifically asked her I just want the polish done. I don't know why her regulars put up with this shit. Good service is part of the salon experience, where it makes people feel good about themselves as well as their looks.
