I have used Sherri's since I came back to FL in '93 so it was natural for me to go to her when my Daddy passed on May 20th. When I went in I asked if they could spell out "Daddy" in yellow roses & if they delivered to the Eau Gallie area of Melbourne? The girl who assisted me said she would have to check in the back. When she came back, she told me that yes, they could get a delivery up to the Eau Gallie area of Melbourne; that they normally did not deliver that far but they had an employee who lived up there who would take my order up there for me. As far as Daddy in yellow roses, yes that too could be accomplished, but it would be very expensive due to length. But they had an award winning florist who could do "amazing" work. At that time I told her I only had a few concerns: 1. My Daddy was only going to die once. 2. I didn't care how much it cost as long as I got what I wanted I was willing to pay. 3. And the most important thing I told this girl & Mel the "wonder" artist who so "skillfully" (sarcasm engaged) arranged the two arrangements I purchased was Daddy was Daddy, not Dad always. He had never been Dad not a day in his life to me EV-ER. Oh & I didn't tell them this once...I told them this several times. Not 2-3, but several as in 4-7 times! 4. You will note in the second arrangement it is noted "yellow roses, big/elaborate Banner (Mel has it on her phone) I wasn't supposed to get ANY cheap flowers & it was supposed to be backed with palm fronds (that's what she had on her phone)! I got sunflowers & carnations & this HUGE banner that was supposed to say "Bobop" (my children's name for their grandfather) was 9" long. Disappointing at best! So I paid $417.30 for technically nothing & when I went in to complain I get told "Everyone is out right now give me your phone number & I'll have them call you the reason we only could do Dad is Daddy was too long." So I just look at her incredulously & say, "Then why did I not get a phone call?" So I reach down & rip my phone number from MY copy of MY receipt which is what you now see along with the "beautiful" representation of the work Sherri's (Mel) did for me! And then on top of it no phone call, no card, no letter so in my estimation I got SCAMMED!!! If my Daddy's name would've been Richard & they decided on their own that it was too long would they have changed it to Rich without calling me? You know I can get over this I guess because it's only money, but the fact is Sherri's took advantage of me when I was at my most vulnerable & I know this because always before when i used them I had never been ordering for a funeral, so I had never let my guard down. This time I paid my money, I trusted & I walked away thinking I could trust them, but I couldn't. I should've followed up. And SHAME SHAME SHAME on them for not calling me I went in after Daddy's service maybe this poor review could've been avoided by some decent customer service, but they'd rather take the one star hit! read more

We needed an arrangement for my dads funeral. We were looking at the arrangements and the prices were doubled and even tripled from what they were before. I would say they are price gouging since they are the only florist in Sebastian. We found a piece that my mother loved and I cannot believe the price they charged her for it. It was nice but not for the price she paid. If it was me I would be back in the florist asking for half my money back. We pd 800....worth only 400 if that. It was all greens, only 4 blooms of flowers. My mom was very disappointed. Do not use them. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a bouquet of flowers before! I decided to use and support my community by using a local florist when sending a bouquet to my Mom. NEVER AGAIN! On Dec 24th I tried to order a dozen roses, on-line, for delivery on Dec 26, a friends birthday. The message came back that Sherri's was closed/no deliveries for the holiday. I decided to stop by anyway, thinking I may have to buy and deliver them. After explaining my plight to the owner, she said "I'll deliver them myself, it's on my way home." I love Sherri's! I call them when I need flowers sent locally for a birthday or a holiday. I live on the west coast and I trust them to pick something for me. I've used them for over 10 years and EVERY single time, the recipient has been blown away and LOVES it!!!
