Just an overall bad experience, bad quality nail job. I was scheduled for a 5pm appt, but when showing up, the tech told me he only had enough time for a nail color change, and not a manicure. (I stated over the phone that I needed a manicure as well). States he had a 5:30 appt showing up soon.. Why is this my problem? He rushed through the manicure, cutting several of my fingers to the point of bleeding. He didn't bother getting all the particles off of my nails following the buffing, so there's a ton of bubbles all over my gel polish. He also polished my cuticles, and they are already chipping off after only 2 days! Waste of time and money for the quality you get... read more

Pink polish really needs to train their employees who work the front desk, the ones who help manage clients schedules. I was scheduled for a 2pm lash lift and tint, but when I got there that is not what happened. I was asked what I wanted from two employees who were just sitting around. After I told them I had an appointment with Jasmin they told me to sit down and wait for her...I'm okay with that. Maybe they were just trying to help out since the girl who is supposed to work their front desk wasn't there, might I add she wasn't there one night I stopped in to see their services (I waited 3 minutes and she never came up front) and she wasn't up front on 11/11 when my friend and I stopped for manis. After waiting for just a short while I was approached by the front girl and Su (I only know her name because she is the one who did my friends nails) and after they were looking at their screen they told me that I could either wait or reschedule. Then they asked if I could come back in 30mins. I told them that I could not. I asked if jasmine was in with another client and the proceeded to tell me she wasn't, she had left somewhere and would be back. Again I told them I could not wait or come back, I had my dog in my car and we had to be somewhere by 4pm, again I was asked if I could come back and this time at 4. Honestly I was a little baffled by this and getting a little irritated so I told them that I would call to reschedule and they looked absolutely shocked. Before I left I told the front girl in a very polite manner that they should be advising their clients of any schedule changes because it takes out of our days, especially when I'm driving out of my way to come to their salon. She looked at me and told me that it's not her responsibility, that it's her managers because he manages the schedules. I to deal with clients scheduled and we always notify if there is any change. This was not acceptable. Not even once did I hear a simple, "we're sorry for the inconvenience." On a side note, I did come in on 11/11 and was had a dip done by Amber. She was the most pleasant in the entire establishment and she did a pretty amazing job on my nails. If it wasn't for her I'd be giving Pink Polish less stars. read more

I would give a zero star review if I could . But I went in today 45 minutes before I had to be at work across the street . I asked if they took walk ins for eyebrow waxes. The man at the front said yes and to come back in 15 mins . I explain to him I work across the street and have to be at work in 45 minutes will that be enough time . He says yes . So I come back and the lady takes me back to the waxing room . I explain to her that I want my eyebrows as thick as possible but just cleaned up around the edges . As I explain every time I get my eyebrows done . She waxes my eyebrows . Hands me the mirror and says "I don't know what happened " and the front of my eyebrow is nearly missing . She explains to me "there was only a little bit of hair there so I don't know what happened " I tell her I've never had a problem with the middle of my eyebrow only having "a little bit of hair " so that they just take it out completely. Seems as if she didn't want to admit it was her mistake . I'm looking in the mirror on the verge of tears and tell her this is unacceptable I'm not paying for this . She asks me "you don't want to pay ?" I said "no does this look okay to you?" She finally admits that it doesn't and she made a mistake . I tell her I want to speak to her manager because I will not be paying . She tells me her manager is with a costumer . So I ask her to talk to the man who seemed like the owner who helped me earlier . She held me by my shoulders while I was trying to get up and telling me "I'll fix it , just lay down , I'll fix it " I ask her how is it fixable the hair is gone ? She doesn't give an explanation and continues to say she'll fix it . Because she is holding me by my shoulders and assuring me she'll fix it, I regretfully lay back down . She grabs tweezer and and scissors and continues to cut and remove more hair ! I tell her to stop there's no more hair to remove . She finally says okay and that she won't charge me . I ask her to get her manager and her manager comes out of the other waxing room . Cringes and says oh yeah that's bad . I tell her I should've been at work 5 minutes ago and I don't have time to go home and put on makeup . I can't walk around like this . She agrees and asks if they can try to fill it in with an eyebrow pencil . Not really having much of a choice I let her try to fill them in . Now both of my eyebrows are dark and very square . It looks just as awful just in a different way. I explained I understand it was an accident but there's nothing they can do for me and I left . I understand I can just wear makeup and it will look fine . But I don't wear makeup everyday. I understand if there to thin or a little uneven. But there was no reason for there to be wax on that section of my eyebrow especially when I asked for a simple clean up around the edges. read more

I called ahead and made an appointment for a basic mani and had to wait over 35min for them to get to me. I asked for a discount when I left and they begrudgingly gave me $5 off. I live nearby and was excited to have a salon so close to home but was really disappointed that they didn't keep their appointment and that it took me asking how long it was going to be - twice - before they took me seriously. It was only when I said that I was just going to leave that they started to do my nails. It took well over 60min for me to get a basic mani - from when I walked in to when I left. Although it is a very nice nail salon, I was not impressed with the overall results. I requested a Mani - pedi which was $50 and they forgot the Mani however because I had to wait for 20+ minutes I didn't have time for the Mani anyhow. Owner/manager (assuming) was very nice and did a very nice job on my daughter's nails but take a look at mine (done by someone else) and would you pay $35 for this??? $35 for basic pedi?! i have loved coming to pink polish for a few years now, it is so cute and trendy inside and the staff is so nice. however, recently i haven't been in love with their quality of service. i went in on saturday, january 14 for a fill. after i left i noticed that one of my nails was shaped a little differently than the rest (not that big of deal as i was really the only one that could tell). but by monday the 16th, the paint had already chipped. then last night the 17th, a huge chunk of the paint ripped off of the same nail! it was still gooey and smelled like freshly painted nail polish too. really disappointed seeing how this set didn't even last a week and it was $46. read more

Called while driving there. They took my name and said they'd be able to get me in in 10 minutes when I arrived. Came in, they catered to me, remembered my name and had a pedi spa seat ready to go for me. I appreciate how clean the spa is and the Use of the plastic covers in the tubs. The guy who did my nails was so friendly and did a great job. The water was warm and the towels were hot. I was wearing tennis shoes and apologized but they Didn't rush me at all and I got to hang out in the massage chair for an extra 30 min to let my toes dry. They also gave me the footies to walk out in. My nails look great for $35. I recommend Sunday mornings. Oh and I also forgot my wallet in the car and they were extremely friendly and forgiving about it! I ran out after and paid, but still- I could've seen a spa getting upset about that. *Had to edit to add more* I came in the beginning of June to get a pedicure done. At this time I was the only person in the salon. A lady and two other kids arrived who appeared to have been related to the male that is frequently in the shop based on their interaction. I believe his name is James and he is the owner. As Tammy was finishing up my nails I am assuming he called her over to ask to help the lady and one of the kids with their pedicures. Tammy said to let my nails dry before another coat is put on. Then along comes the male I just referenced putting on another coat of nail polish on my toes and a top coat then letting me know that I am done. I did not believe that my nails were dry at this point but he told me that he could ring me up in the register. I paid and he told me that I could go. It was hot outside, I brought tennis shoes and I did not want to walk in those thin flip flops they put on your feet when you get their pedicure service so I sat in their lobby area to give my nails a few minutes to dry. Backstory: I went to another salon and walked on hot pavement and the flip flops melted! He said that I should be "fine to go". I felt like I was being rushed out so that his family could have the shop to themselves. On my next visit they were having new people do nails. The girl that helped me was super nice but the job was subpar. I then asked her if they could remove acrylic nails as I was over the set I had at the time. I was told that the process was to soak them in acetone to carefully remove the nail. Sounds painless right? I sit at the table to get them removed and instead I received the opposite of a painless experience. They clip down the nail as much as they can, file down the acrylic, then stick a flat metal piece between the acrylic and the actual nail to prop it off. I tried to explain to the lady that was helping me that I was told that they could just use acetone to remove it and was basically told "this is faster." Painful experience that I never want to go through again. During that same appointment I asked about dip powder nails and if I wanted to get it in the future could the removal process would be the same. She said "no" and that it would be "much easier to remove". One of my most recent visits was on Saturday. I got a pedicure and the ombré dip powder service. Pedicure was done by a new male in the salon who does a poor job. Once my pedicure was done I was seated at one of the stations to get my nails done. They were busy at the time but I am patient and was in no rush. Then here comes James to put the tips on my nails for another person to complete the service. The process of applying them was rushed. I asked for the coffin shape and that too was rushed and he was quite rough with my hands. I vented my frustration to the lady who was helping me and pointed out the different tip shapes; most notably on my thumb and she said that she could fix it once the service was done because she had to file them anyways. Fine. I loved how the powder came out but was disappointed with the different shapes on the tips of my nails she did what she could. A few days go by and one of my nails break. It happens right? I go back to get it repaired and I explained to the lady that what I got was the ombré powder on my nails but she kept asking about gel. She then got annoyed and told me to pick a color. I again tried to explain to her that what I had was not gel and asked to see the ring of color selections they have since that was how I initially chose my color along with the white. She goes to grab it and just to clarify I ask if the ring was the powders they have. She says "no this is gel, why did you ask me for this then?" Excuse me..... she says something to a co-worker who then comes over to me and asks what is going on. I again explain to her that I picked my color from that ring the other lady put back. The new person helping me brings it back and I point out what color I got. She then proceeds to tell me that is not the right one. Annoyed at this point I asked her if she could just use that color and if it is wrong then that is on me. Guess what! It was my color. During the repair she tells me that my nails should have been "thicker" to prevent them from breaking. I am sorry the person that did my nails was someone in this same location. Do you all not know what you are doing? To answer that the question is no since I currently have two other broken nails. She finishes the repair and the nail looked like it could be a skate ramp. Her co-worker pointed it out and she had to repair the repair. Still did not help. While all of my nails have a curve to them this one sticks straight out. Not sure what happened to this place from when I first went but I feel like I could get more quality service elsewhere. read more

The location is great, the prices are higher end, which fits the location. However, the service and what you get doesn't fit. Not super clean, not unfriendly but more no communication just get you in and out. Me and the husband got two pedicures. Water barley filled the basin, kinda cold, chairs uncomfortable, basin was "broken" so it wobbled. They were super quick, barley did anything. Not busy either. Had appointments at 1:30, I got right in, they didn't start my husband until I was almost done. Waited a while to dry, they said I was good and I wanted longer. They felt super sticky. Left with flip flops at 2:30, put dress shoes in at 4:30 for dinner and rubies entire pedi. Super bummed. Not good experience for $85. read more

Went in 9am Thursday July 1st with 2 other friends. My technician (female) who did my pedicure was so sloppy polish had bubbles. Massage worthless calluses were jagged and not smooth after callus removal. The rest of the group was ok. My friends got pretty good pedicures and manicures with the male technicians. I've had several pedicures here and a few have been good. My most recent, though, was absolutely terrible. I asked for the "Spoil me" pedi and the guy who gave it blew through the pedicure and barely hit the basics of a normal pedicure. The water was cold; he only used one towel for the heat "wrap," so it didn't actually wrap; the 15 minute massage was 9 minutes; the massage was just poorly done in general (he kept massaging both my legs at same time, so it turned into a "rub"). I made several requests to try and turn it around, including getting a new tech, but he didn't respond. If this is the quality of service I can expect moving forward, I will be finding a new salon to visit regularly. :( read more

Every time I have called to make an appointment they have been extremely accommodating. They take their time and do not rush me out. My daughter had three employees do her nails( not at same time). They were too busy to just have one person take care her, but there was only three customers in the place! It was like an inconvenience, even though we had an appointment. They cut her and she bled and left glue on her. They used cold water for their pedicure foot soak. I wanted regular nail polish and I had to have nail polish reapplied because they rushed me to leave. It kept smearing. I left because they told me my nails were dry, but when I went to pay, smear nail polish noted! I had to go back to the seat to get some nails redone and the lady who was doing nails on a new person stopped to do me and it appeared to be not the best hygiene practice. I've never more accommodated at any nail salon than I was here. I'm kind of a nail salon w***e. Being in the beauty industry myself it's hard to find a place that lives up to my standards of cleanliness and good work. I found it here a pink polish. Not to mention so did my mom and she's pickier than I am. I had an amazing pedicure the color looks great and work is wonderful! My finger nails are even better. I'm a hairstylist so every thing I get usually fades before 2 weeks and it doesn't help that the gel at other salons is never applied properly. This time I got dip powder and its holding up nicely. The woman who did my nails even put a gel top coat on after I said I was a hairdresser to make the polish last longer. Not only that but during the service I got shaky, low blood sugar and what not. Instead of just being rougher like other salons have the girl doing my nails gave me a quick snack. A snack that another worker brought and said I could have some. I just moved into the apartments across the way and was in need of an acrylic fill. I called and made an appointment. I was greeted by the receptionist with a warm smile and told to pick out my color along the wall. They had a great selection of gel nail polish! I was greeted by Annie who was going to do my fill. The salon is beautiful and very clean. You are required to wash your hands before they start which I thought was a great added precaution. I showed Annie a picture of how I would like my nails shorten and overall rounded shape from the bed of the nail to the tips because I felt like they were very flat shaped. She definitely knew what she was doing and the technique to achieve the shape I was looking for. She nailed it! My nails looked amazing! I ended up getting a pedicure too with her. She did a great job. I will be coming back and asking for Annie. I will make sure to have her take a picture next time. read more

The only thing I found frustrating was that they charged me full price for a pedi for my 8yr old and spent half the time working on hers as they did mine. I have had dozens, probably a couple hundred or even more, pedicures. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST ONE. I've even had two or three others here. THIS BY FAR WAS THE WORST. I chose the "Spoil Me" level. The water in the tub was scalding and when I mentioned this, it was turned to what felt like ice cold at that point. No inquiry about it at all. My technician barely trimmed my nails (she did not ask what I wanted either), she did not buff them, used a cheese grater and not a pumice stone on my heels and did not do anything along the sides, and put lotion on my feet by inserting the lotion into a plastic bag and rubbing it around unevenly. The final straw that got me to write this was that she kept on slapping (not hard but definitely with frustration, I have a hip issue on one side that limits me but, again, no inquiry as to why I wasn't doing as she directed) up my feet to get to the bottoms to whatever she was trying to do instead of assisting me. I told her I could not hold my feet up as long as she needed, and she just shortened her attempts to finish the heels. In the end, after polishing my toenails, she walked away without saying anything. She left her cart in my way, and because of the hip issue, it was hard to get out of the chair. When attempting to put on my flip-flops, she rushed back to help but really just held them for me to maneuver on, no real help from her. For the price of $55 plus 3% added to cover credit card fees, THIS WAS NOT WORTH IT. My recommendation: GO ANYWHERE ELSE, you will get a better pedicure ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

Had appointment for 2 pedis and a fill...when we got there I asked if They could take in another pedi..she told us yes it would just be a little wait....they took us right in and started working on my mom and brothers toes...she had me waiting in cold water for 25mins and rushed my toes...I got shellac on my toes so I paid the most! Well I've been here 3 times. I usually get a pedicure and have a great experience for the most part. But this place seems hit or miss as far as service goes. The first time was awesome. I got wine, I got a pedi, massage, scrub etc .Left happy& felt pampered. The second time I got a pedicure and wasn't offered a drink, that time was okay as well and the male was the one who did my pedicure. Today I got a gel manicure . I walked in with a $10 off coupon, but was shown in tiny lettering that it was for a pedicure ... Monday- Wednesday..I felt rushed and there was no description anywhere or what a gel mani included. I definitely wanted to relax. But they pulled me in quickly and got me seated and just started. She started getting my nails cleaned up, I noticed there was zero pampering of what I think of when I think mani. Other places I've gone offer an arm scrub, massage of hands with lotion, hot towel treatment, drinks etc. While my nails look great I was SO disappointed at the lack of pampering . I kept waiting for something to get better or to feel like I was at a spa. Nope. At the end she gave me a quick lack luster "massage" with lotion on my arms with her glove still on, which lasted less then one minute. And she had a hot towel thrown on for 30 seconds, not even covering my entire arm. I wanted to cry. I went to get pampered. I work hard and on a rare occasion want to treat myself, and spending $40 to get my nails trimmed and painted wasn't worth it. I just suggest they become more present. They could show their guest a menu, they could offer a drink. It's like they want to do the bare minimum and get you out of there and btw there was only one other person there. For a gel mani why was their not an arm scrub, arm massage and lotion??? Ugh. Next time I will try a new place which is disappointing because I thought I found my place. Oh well ..
