Went to them a few times. One time they kept my dog 12 hours because only one groomer showed up but didn't give me a chance to cancel. Othertimes several of the counter staff were very unpleasant and just bitchy in general. Their work was good but they weren't kind to people at the counter on a regular basis. Alright. I recently rescued a Rottweiler. Young and easily frightened, reactive when his feet are touched. I called last week to get an appointment and asked "just to be clear, I've heard y'all are good with large aggressive dogs, correct?" Which was responded with "yes, we say if we can't do it, no one can". I brought him in today and told them, "he'll love his bath, but you should muzzle him when you trim his nails, he DOES NOT like his feet touched" to which I was told "we got it". Called back 4 hours later to them telling me 1) since it's my first visit, it's cash only (thanks so much, wasn't told that until this point in the process, now I have to hit an ATM) and 2) he bit one of their techs trying to clip his nails (hmmm... how could he have done that if they muzzled him like I suggested?). Pay $54 and change for the bath and tried to apologize, but reminded that I did say he needed to be muzzled for his nail trim to which I was told THEY DONT HAVE MUZZLES! They apparently "just normally make it work" and don't muzzle, much less have muzzles on hand, even when told by the owner they should. I don't know if this is stupidity, ignorance, or just lack of consideration for anyone involved, but I'm not coming back to the place where "if they can't do it, no one can". read more

I took my pups to Pink Poodle for several years while we lived in a nearby neighborhood. They were always ready on time and freshly bathed. I appreciated how much patience I'm sure was necessary for my unsocial shepherd mix. Although I don't live nearby any longer - I ran them over there for a quick bath and brush out -- and begged them to spend some extra time "de-furring" one of them because he was shedding horribly. I was so happy when I picked him up, he looked like a whole new dog! I'm sure they brushed off enough fur to make another dog, lol! I will continue making the drive to Pink Poodle. read more

Great groomer! I've been a customer of Pink Poodle for a while and have always had a good experience. I dropped in just yesterday and decided I really should write a review. I needed to take my Yorkies to the vet for a routine checkup, but I was too embarrassed at their appearance (we've all had kinda a rough couple of months) so I decided to drop them off for a makeover first. I called in the morning and they worked me in that same day. I dropped off two grimey, matted, homeless looking Yorkies and picked up two beautiful, shiny, show-quality pups. They did a great job--total transformation. Pink Poodles' prices are fair--they charge me $29 per Yorkie for a teddy bear cut, plus tax and tip. They only take cash or checks, so be prepared. I seem to always forget and have to run next door to the H-E-B to withdraw cash. They are conveniently located right next to Pet Supplies Plus on BrookHollow. read more

Didn't wear face masks after they keep you waiting either... They trimmed my pups parts without us asking them to do so and they hurt him... Last and final time we were here they did not let us know their price had spiked and did "extra" work that we did not ask for but got charged anyway. Had a 9:30 appointment this morning for our 16 year old Shih-Tzu. We don't like to leave her in a cage for a ling period of time because of her age. When we showed up this morning with our dog to be groomed we were told that there were 17 dogs in front of her and it would be between 3:30 & 5 pm before she would be ready. when asked about our "appointment" we were told they are short handed today. Who takes appointments for 9:30 in the morning then tells you it will be at least 6 hours before she's done? The 3 people working in this establishment didn't seem to care what we were told on the phone, and it will be what they tell us when we got there. Needless to say they had one less dog to groom today. Their customer service just plain sucks! I would not waste my time going to this or any other business that acts this way. read more

Very nice staff but I question their skills. I don't know if they were just really busy but my dog received the worst schnauzer cut I've ever seen. Very choppy and not blended well at all. Her face was also not blended from her eyes into her beard and you can see the straight cuts all over her coat. I ended up going home and shaving down all her furnishings and skirt because it was so uneven. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. I'm sure they do well with all over cuts and everything else, but I'm not sure about pattern cuts. Bath, nails, ears were great but I can do that myself at Unleased. Not worth the $50. read more

They knew what they were talking about and what they were doing. It was Professional from start to finish. My standard male poodle had the best grooming job that he has ever had in his six years.I will definitely be going back. I have taken my fur baby to pink poodle about 6 times... but this last time we had a horrible experience. They are supposed to open at 7:30am..... always late. Left my fur baby at 7:45am, got a call at 10:30am.... that after giving my dog a bath they noticed a gash on his head, and maybe we should take him to the vet.... get there after they are finally done. Find my baby with a huge cut on his head, trying to get him out of the I stupidly paid $90. Ran to the vet.... our fur baby had to be sedated and got 8 stitches and a bill for $600. The groomers said it looked like a old cut..... my dog sleeps with us I would have noticed it. There has not been any visible blood around my home..... the vet said the cut was FRESH.... DON'T take your fur babies there. read more

For the past few years we would rarely take our dogs to this location for grooming and most of the time we would be satisfied except for what we believed to be a normal after effect. They would be depressed for a number of hours or not as active. I believed that was something normal for dogs to adjust from being with people they are not used to being around to being back home. But this previous visit has me beyond furious and upset! We took one of our dogs to get groomed on March 8, 2018 and her appointment was for 12 noon. We had got the call that she was ready to be picked up at 7:00p. Once we got her, our dog was trembling, whining and constantly licking herself around her private parts. At first we believe it was because of her side effects. Once we took a closer look, we noticed she was bleeding. We called them the next day and we were told from an employee that it was the owner who did the grooming but spoke with her and she can't recall doing the work. She said she can offer a free nail clipping for our next visit because they don't do refunds. Also as far as I'm aware, every transaction is ether cash or check only. So we had no evidence of her taking her to this location. I can almost promise that no customer will ever have a receipt. I believe I will be taking this up to the general attorney and better business bureau. read more

The company does not keep their promise. Owner told me to bring my dog in for a free flee and tick bath with a free cut and file on my dogs nails. The day I show up owner was not there and would not answer my phone calls I had to pay for my "free" service. My mother-in-law called he lied to her said he gave my dog the free service but since he didn't want to lose a customer told her to bring my dog in the next morning. The owner did the same thing, he didn't show up I waited for him for at least 15 minutes and I decided to leave because I knew he wasn't going to show up. They have always been very friendly and very accommodating working with me when my schedule was tight to fit me in no worries and have ALWAYS been thrilled with the job they have done on my dog. Took my 3 Mini Schnauzers to Pink Poodle. My youngest dog had a hot spot on her back and I was called with a paniced grooming saying the dog had ringworm and I needed to pick then all up. I got there and my dogs looked like a 5 year old had been given the clippers. One leg on said dog was shaved and half of her head. She looked like an alien. My male dog had some hair in his mouth because he likes to lick the others. She acted like he was the most disgusting animal she had ever seen. The owner and groomer were both in full attack at me.
