Barbara's offered me several appt times available for same day nail services, even after letting them know that my puppy is a "screamer" when getting her nails done.. I cannot tell you how impressed and pleased I was with their customer service and expertise!! We were in and out in less than 12 minutes and my baby got extra special treatment- two nice lady's there to soothe and calm her while her nails were being buffed. Ten star service, so so happy that we found our new favorite doggie salon!

However once I did receive a response surprisingly they had available weekend appointments within the same week! I received a text about 20mins before the appointment letting me know they were en route. Once arrived Sydney came to the door, explained the process and took the first pup to the van. Once the first pup was finished she came back with the cutest Thanksgiving scarf around her neck and she smelled sooooo clean. The second pup received a haircut and came back with the same bandana and the same clean smell. This dog has gotten me on the ban list from groomers in the past so I was ready to get kicked out of Southern Spaw, relocate, and try again at another groomer. After today experience, I'm pleased to say that they're not kicking me out. They trimmed AND buffed Lily's nails in less than 5 minutes, and she was wagging her tail when she came out to me. I'm happy and confident in knowing that the staff here is experienced enough to take on even difficult cases. I will continue to come here for all of my dogs and I can't say enough how much of appreciate them taking the time needed to make sure Lily was comfortable.

I asked them to take some of the length off the hair and some of the bulk out (they are double coated). What I got back was a dog that had essentially been shaved down to about an inch from head to toe, all except his tail which is still fluffy. It looks horrid. I would expect that a groomer would give a collie a collie style silhouette cut, not shave the dog all over. Unfortunately you can't put the hair back. By the way, this disaster cost me 81.00, and I am pretty sure they didn't even do a shed out brushing after his bath. Worst groomer experience I have had. The only upside is that they were very nice.

When I arrived today, I was not told that Vicky would not be grooming my dog due to her fall. I asked for my Pom's hair to be left longer so as not to look shaven or cut extremely short. I paid and gave my tip before seeing my dog, and I immediately regretted it. My dog's hair was not cut in a straight line, and he was not groomed to my request. For nearly four hours at the groomer, I'm disappointed to say the least.

After coming home yesterday I noticed nails were not cut, ears were not cleaned and cuts on left side of her muzzle, back left paw and what seem to be blade burns down by her privates and on her neck. Feet and legs were not cut evenly. This is clearly not a professional groom as they claim to be. I understand sometimes accidents happen but multiple cuts and what looks like blade burn is inexcusable! Horrible job and will not be back. I clearly did not get a proper groom but but cuts and burns instead. spent 109$ for this. Not to mention my baby was not herself on our ride back home.
