I love the ambiance of the old converted gas station, the fact that you can sit inside or outside (and on chilly days, they don't skimp on the heaters) and the carousel of great food trucks that are always there. I love that you're not limited to one brewery's offerings, and instead have options from local NC establishments to interesting brews from all over the country. The bartenders know their regulars and are absolutely awesome, and I LOVE that I can take my pup, take my family, take my laptop---whatever the circumstances, Blue Ridge Beer Garden is the place to be. ALSO, it should be noted that in sleepy Hendo (where some restaurants close as early as 8 pm--why??), Blue Ridge Beer Garden is blessedly open till 10.

Trent was highly accommodating on arrival and totally knowledgeable about all of the beers. We met Evan later on and he was also very welcoming. We found out later on that Evan and his Dad opened the place and congrats to them. All in all one of the best and friendliest Harvest Hosts that we have stayed at.
