Enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July evening at Trailside Brewing. Big open area with inside or outside seating. We set inside, large fans and big open doors made for a beautiful breeze that blew through. Keeping you cool and comfortable Music 5-8pm from a guitar player. Large selection of beers on tap all cold and delicious, on the beer side service was friendly and quick. We ordered food from their kitchen, my husband had a mixed leafy green salad-(lots of arugula) he added a piece of Salmon on top. Salad was first served with zero dressing (yuk) my husband took it back had salad dressing added he said it was good. I had the wings (teriyaki), they were hot, crispy and delicious. I will definitely.order them again. On the bar side - Trailside bartender was "unfriendly" several in our party ordered sodas and mixed drinks, the woman bartender was indifferent with an attitude, like it was a bother to take a drink order. I returned for a refill of soda and was told nastily "$3 we don't do refills" WOW! Really??? No need to be nasty I didn't know and last time I was there the bartender happily refilled my soda-(which was mostly ice) Obviously this lady dislikes her job! No matter how fun or nice a place is or how good the food, if service is lacking or server gives a negative attitude people won't return. I would give 5 stars to Trailside Brewing if service would have been friendly and smiled. read more

4.5 First timers ... the ambiance by a trailhead is great. The service is very friendly and the food good. We had the double burger special with a free beer. Lots of space for seating. A very nice visit indeed. read more

Rude and unprofessional. The staff here is rude and unprofessional. It's a shame because the food here is kind of good but it's ruined by people that don't want to work and want to close the kitchen two hours earlier than the actual posted. read more

For a brewery the food was amazing. It was as good as any restaurant or better. I had a short rib grill cheese along with parmesean truffle cheese fries. The fries were hot and fresh and the parmesean truffle topping was tasty as any top end fries I have had. The star though was the sandwich. I would put the braised short rib up against any short rib I have had tender and perfectly cooked. Put on a grilled cheese with great bread and this sandwiches awarded with "Amazing". Pair with their great beer selection and you will not go away hungry. I had a very enjoyable brown ale. read more

The food was pretty good for a brewery. I had the double smash burger. Good amount of seasoning for flavour. The service is why this is only 3 stars the queues to get food were terrible. This was during state tournaments for baseball. The ambiance was loud and kids were running around which was dangerous. Someone had to come on the speaker saying no kids running. read more

We love this place. Finally made here for lunch, and 2 of our 3 meals were ruined because they only fry in Tallow even though the sweet potato fries say vegan and vegetarian. I always plan ahead and this didn't work out. Trailside. Please do better. read more

Best black bean veggie burger my boyfriend and I ever had, really tasty. I also really loved the sweet potato fries. Along with a summerfest pilsner beer, superb! We enjoyed the atmosphere with live music and fire pits if you sit outdoors on a nice day. It is a very small menu, but maybe if it becomes popular, they will enlarge? read more

Stopped by for a cold beer after hiking in the area and loved the place. The beers were great and there's lots of space to hang out. The day we were there they had multiple food trucks and live music playing outside. This is a must stop brewery in WNC. read more

What a great option along the recently finished Ecusta Trail! Trailside Brewing hits the mark for a local brewery. Solid drink options, plenty of space to socialize, and a killer food truck with amazing food! We've never had any issues with service and have always left with smiles on our faces. There are also small shops connected to the brewery that I highly recommend you stop by (if they're open) while you're there. read more

We recently started going to Trailside! It is pretty close to home and easy to get to with plenty of parking. There is so much seating indoors and outdoors, somewhere for everyone. There are rotating food trucks. Bathrooms are always clean. Staff is always friendly. Oh and the coffee and bar area is super cute and cozy with lots of options. read more

What a great spot!! I enjoyed the Blaze sour that's currently on tap after. 4.5 mile walk down the Ecusta trail. This is where it's at Hendersonville. Simple. Clean. Family and dog friendly. Beer tenders were super friendly and made great suggestions. I'll be back sooner rather than later. Cheers !! read more

My experience is based off the food. The menu online didn't match what was actually at the brewery and the options were very minimal. Also the kids chicken tenders are made with some sort of flavor that tastes like pickles, my kids didn't love it. Brewery is beautiful and the sour was nice! Big open space and chill vibe! read more

My folks and I went during the opening of the Ecusta Trail, so it was crazy busy! However the line was pretty efficient and when I was told the taps were out on the 2 beers we wanted, the girl taking my order was knowledgeable about the beers to offer me something I enjoyed! They did have a lot of IPAS which I am not a fan of so, her direction was great:) Ample parking, pet friendly for those who must take their dogs everywhere. Cocktail prices are stoopid high for anyone that doesn't want beer. I will definitely go back to this joint though! Very clean restrooms, and a great outdoor space. read more

Hot sweaty nightmare you can't wait to escape. No games, activities, or TV's. Kids running wild treating tables like a jungle gym. Prices are high, especially at the cocktail bar. Young kids working that have no clue what they are doing. The owner was arrogant and rude when we asked about the credit card fee. Super old building that is filthy with dirty bathrooms, so no ambiance to speak of. read more

This little brewery has some of the best ambiance in town! Their live music is always good and the beer is top notch! We have been here multiple times and it never fails to make us feel at home. They are expanding and adding a coffee shop and a cafe and market which will make it even more attractive as a destination brewery. Can't wait to see it once it's all finished. Very busy grand opening. A few home brews and a few guest taps. Several IPAs and sours. Great for summer consumption. We drink mainly porters and stouts. Will revisit as their menu changes. Great outdoor space and loads of free parking. Located right on the soon-to-be bike/hike trail. read more

Trailside has great beer. The venue (indoors and outdoors) is spacious and clean. They have food trucks. There is ample free parking. Service is friendly and efficient. Entertainment varies nightly . They have an Irish music session on Monday nights from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm that is quite entertaining with musicians singing and playing guitars, mandolins, banjos, fiddles, flutes, whistles, bodhrans, and pipes.
