The consultation was great and I never felt like they were selling me something I didn't need. The injector was so sweet and skilled as well. So I went to my appointment and met with the very kind Dr first and then met with Carrie who was my injector. She had me ice my lips first and then walked me through exactly how and where she would inject. The Juvéderm was still in the carton which she opened up in front of me. I chose Juvéderm Ultra Plus since I was looking for a more pouty full look. With each injection, she had me check in the mirror to make sure I was satisfied and to stop if I felt it was enough. I felt extremely comfortable with her. My lips turned out beautiful and I recommend Skin Science for all your skin care needs!

I have been getting juvederm-ultra for the past 2 1/2 years- never had an experience like this! A giant clump, goiter-size, in both my upper right lip and lower-mid lip. Small bumps are understandable, these are GIANT! She injected (5) times total- obvious imbalance if you look at picture. My past guru would inject at least 8-10 times to make sure they were PERFECTION. They want you in-and-out at this place! Aesthetically displeasing and distracting. Owner/injector DO NOT care about patients results- only up-selling product! Requested to do half a syringe- got pushed into doing a whole one one. I've been to two AMAZING dermas who would only do half-syringe at a time because they didn't want customer to hate results!! Not intimidate them by forcing a $60 service-fee when you already pay upward of $600 for service. Do yourself a favor and go to a med-spa who actually cares about your appearance- not just on sales!

And much to my surprise they did not do this surgery at the Orland Park location. So I had to make an appointment 35 miles away in Naperville and that appointment was several weeks out. The office was super nice, clean, modern, etc. And the staff were very professional. The surgery was unexpected as I did not know what MOHS surgery was and the person making the appointment misinformed me. But the surgeon did a good job. I was very disappointed to not see the doctor again when I had my stitches removed or any other follow-up. So I will not be returning for future care.

When I finally asked the front desk for an update, I was told it would be another 30 minutes. Expecting a patient to wait over an hour past their scheduled appointment-especially with no proactive communication-is unacceptable. I understand that medical offices can run behind, but keeping patients informed shows respect for their time. What made this even more frustrating is that I took time away from work for this appointment because I specifically wanted to see a board-certified dermatologist. During my last three visits, I was seen by another provider in the office rather than the dermatologist. I was prescribed multiple medications that either irritated my skin or failed to improve it, and my skin actually became worse over the course of treatment. That is why I specifically scheduled this visit with the dermatologist. Instead of receiving the care I was hoping for, I was left sitting in the waiting room for an extended period with no indication of when I would actually be seen. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel like patients are treated as appointments on a schedule rather than individuals whose time and concerns matter. Between the lack of communication, the long wait, and my disappointing treatment experience, I no longer feel confident receiving my dermatologic care at this practice.

She is very honest and told me up front finger tattoos can be VERY stubborn. With her precise work and the Picosure laser I've had very good results. I believe I have had 6 or 7 sessions and the tattoo is almost completely gone. I've seen considerable progress after each session. I haven't been here in a little while due to my budget, but as soon as I am able I will be returning to finish the removal. I went to more than 1 specialist after having nothing but horrific results. If you are over 40 years old you are not supposed to have these treatments as it can only harm as it reaches the part that interferes with the part of your skin so it doesn't cause drooping. On top of having just 3 treatments as opposed to supposed 9. They have been lying to upset regardless of whether what they are doing is borderline illegal. I listen very carefully when being told about how many treatments for what amount of money. I was very much mislead at minimum. I had someone call me from their main IL office and thought they understood my displeasure with your employees misleading people on how many treatments for what price. I thank God everyday for only 3 painful treatments as these treatments did damage to the elasticity of my skin on my face. I wouldn't had horrible treatments and of course would never have the way overpriced damaging treatments. Of course they downplayed the pain and damage, also the price I was quoted. $3000 is a lot for someone who explained they are looking for a job and age is huge factor.
