After already beginning the demolition I got a call from Tamara to let me know that Jim did not typically do the estimates and that he had made many mistakes on the estimate. The edits Tamara made added several thousand dollars to my job but she waited to tell me this until the walls had already been ripped out in my bathroom! I asked her to honor the estimate since neither of us were changing anything I had requested, she had many opportunities to look at it and edit the price before beginning work, and that it was not my fault that one of her fellow owners made those errors. While she fully admitted and apologized for the errors, she not only still intended on charging me the higher prices, she wouldn't even take off the labor fees. I ended up stopping the project with them as a result of their dishonesty. I had to wait several weeks to have another crew in to avoid supporting liars. I would not recommend them to anyone. If you use them, make sure Tamara does your quote as she will provide the correct numbers that they will end up charging. They are super cheap so at least they have that. Common... just be good people.
