As a Realtor, I've dealt with MANY foundation companies. The vast majority do not stand behind their work- they use loopholes to get out of honoring warranties. 90%+ of the time (including when I sold my OWN home- after choosing our foundation company carefully) sellers are left in the lurch, leading to transactions that fall through and/or thousands of dollars needed to remedy the situation. MBR Actually STANDS behind theirs. Also, they are incredibly trustworthy when evaluating foundations. I have always recommended independent, 3rd party structural engineers to my buyers so that they would know a foundation company wasn't trying to push unwarranted repairs on them. Now, I recommended they use Will with MBR. He's honest when there's not a problem. True current story... I have a listing and we handed over a foundation warranty to the buyers. Turns out, the warranty was NOT in effect because... refer back to my first paragraph. Now we had a problem to fix. Spoke to the buyers' agent and turns out, MBR was her trusted company too! Will came out was able to offer a warranty on the previous work. Having someone we BOTH trusted was absolutely essential to keeping this deal together. It is my belief that MBRGFR does not operate in good faith in regards to fulfilling its warranty. In June 2022 I purchased a house and transferred the warranty from the previous owner for a $200 fee. In early August 2022, when my house dropped over 2 inches, I was told by MBRGFR that the solution would be to raise the piers they had previously installed. If piers drop more than an inch they are covered by warranty, but I was told that the work would not be covered by warranty, because for the last 7 weeks I had my sprinklers running but not my soaker hoses. But in the PDF I was sent along with the warranty certificate, there is a section specifying what would void the warranty and soaker hoses are not mentioned. In the estimate/proposal of work to be done there is no mention of soaker hoses. The only mention of soaker hoses is in a letter that was sent to the previous owner, but nowhere does it state that not following any of the maintenance suggestions would void the warranty. I went ahead with the repairs and MBRGFR completed the foundation work on August 17-18 2022. Within months I began to have problems again, cracks in walls and exterior brick, doors sticking. The rear right corner was very high, over 3 inches higher than the middle of the house. Numerous times I contacted MBRGFR and their representative would come look, every time he would say it was normal seasonal movement and no repairs were covered by warranty. They claimed there was nothing to do about the right rear corner, that the house was off the piers and it was the moist soil that was pushing it up, they maintained the piers had not failed. I dug up the right rear corner, and they were wrong, the back corner pier was touching the foundation and was pushing the house up. I took pictures and videos of this and sent to MBRGFR. They agreed that the piers were touching the foundation and moving up with the soil, but MBRGFR would not lower the back piers, because lowering is never covered by warranty, even if they possibly caused the issue by over-raising that corner. In August of 2023, the front of my house had dropped. It was to the point where I literally could not open my front door. On August 7th, MBRGFR came out to look. As usual, they said it was seasonal movement, I would just have to do without my front door until the winter rain hopefully raised it back up again. They claimed the front had not dropped more than an inch, but they refused to show me any of his measurements, which had always been their policy (Unless agreeing to pay for work). So not knowing what the measurements were when they finished the August 2022 work, and them not showing me the measurements that day, made it impossible for me to know how much the house has moved, and made it impossible for me to claim that it's moved enough to be covered by the warranty. I have worked with two other foundation companies, Olshan and Pinnacle, and neither company at any time had any issue with showing me measurements and giving me copies of their measurements. Thus the practice of MBRGFR never showing measurements (unless paying for work to be done) appears to be a bad faith business practice which keeps the customer in the dark and protects MBRGFR from warranty claims. Also in that August 2023 discussion, they generally agreed that the 8' concrete piers weren't working. They weren't holding up the front, and they were moving up with the soil in the back. We talked about steel piers and how they would hold up the front and not sink down, and they gave me a rough $4000 quote for 6 steel piers in the front. They then advised that ideally I would have steel piers all around the house so it's all equally supported, which would have been a very expensive job. So it's abundantly clear that the 8' concrete piers were not getting the job done, but wouldn't be covered by warranty, but MBRGFR would install more piers for more money. I was not happy with MBRGFR's business practices and warranty support, so I've moved on with a different foundation company and am considering legal action against MBRGFR. read more

9/19. My original review was seen by a manager at MXXX. He contacted us immediately, genuinely apologized, assured us this is not how they do business, and offered to come out immediately to make the repairs. When we told him we had already made the repairs, he offered to compensate us, and sent us Amazon gift cards for more than the cost of the repairs, along with a sincere handwritten apology. With this response, I have no problem recommending this company for repairs. On 8/17, Master Builders Remodelers & Guaranteed Foundation Repairs (www. mbrgfr.com) came to our home to do foundation work. On 9/3, we noticed a sinkhole that was caused by a cut in the sprinkler line where the foundation work was done. While they did several repairs on lines they damaged while they were there, they refused to come back and repair the damage that wasn't noticed until later. They did not at all deny causing the damage, but refused to come back and fix it because they didn't have a crew in the area. The example they used was that if they found diamonds or gold while doing the work, it would be ours, so the problem with the sprinkler line was ours. I don't see how this applies to them not taking responsibility for the damage they created, damage that ironically would cause future foundation issues if not repaired. Very disappointed by the utter disregard to the property damage they caused. I do not recommend using this company since they will not rectify a problem they created. Discovered that what we thought was a plumbling leak issue was a foundation issue. Our home is over 100 years old. We contacted the person who performed an inspection on our house when we bought it 5 years ago. He confirmed the plumbers observations and recommended Master Builders Remodelers and Guaranteed Foundation Repairs. What a great recommendation. They reponded promplty with a professional crew and a supervisor. The repairs took about 6 hours and were 1000% to our satisfaction. And best of all, the cost was a fraction of what I was thinking it would be. Could not recommend this company more highly. read more

Wow, these guys are great! First, a shout out to Eric who was professional and super easy to work with. I was introduced to MBRGFR when selling my home. It needed some foundation work done and Eric stopped by to take a look. We got a fair price on the service so when I found a rental property I have needed foundation repair, I invited Eric for a quote. The quote was reasonable and had them out within a couple of days to fix the foundation. It was nice seeing the big cracks being reduced to a fine lines down the wall. Previous home owner used them to fix the foundation and transferred the warranty to us. When we tried to use the warranty to check the foundation problem they refuses to even send people out for test without proof of costly plumbing test. They give new customers free check, but NOT previous customers trying to use the warranty. We hired another company to test and validated that the house is sinking in multiple locations. The side MBRGFR installed multiple concrete piers had to be fixed, and 3 more piers had to be installed by the new foundation company right next to the ones MBRGFR installed. The house needed 20 piers total after MBRGFR worked on 3 years ago. Either MBRGFR don't know what they are doing or they are trying to rip off customer through the shady warranty policy. read more

Part of the negotiation and agreement to purchase our first home last August was that problematic foundation issues would be resolved via the company MBRGFR.com Foundation Repair. In less than a 6-month time frame from the completion of their "repair", issues are still not resolved and our "lifetime warranty" covers NONE of the work needed to resolve issues. Our house is in worse shape that it was prior to MBRGFR's work. If you're a realtor we urge against recommending this company to clients or working with this company in ANY scope. They make your company look disreputable. They make your company look like they make poor business connections. We urge private clients, and anyone else, to reconsider all future business connected to MBRGFR.com. Foundation Repair. To date, MBRGFR has made $34,495.00 off our house, (we have all the invoicing and receipts to prove it) and the costs KEEP rising. They charged an initial $13,495.00 for the first round of foundation repair, $21,000.00 for plumbing repair via Leak Squad (a company in which MBRGFR owns and manages). As they did not communicate ANY soil swelling or leak concerns to the 3rd party engineer during their initial repair process, and our house is now sinking in the middle - none of our doors close inside the home (by several inches), our wrought iron door is jammed shut, drywall is split and separated by several inches in multiple locations of the home, parts of the floor have sunken below the floor trim and the framing of the home is visible, and there are multiple cracks over 12 inches long in our home. When we called them MULTIPLE times to fix these problems (that were appearing in JANUARY) they advised our "lifetime warranty" did not cover anything outside of their "existing work" - they wanted us to MOVE OUT of our home, tear up the brand-new floor for them to perform work, and charge us another $13,195.00 for repairs. And no - they would not cover any of the cosmetic work inside the home like resetting door frames and crack repair. This awful company would have made a total of $47,690.00 if we did not call and pester every person involved with this foundation process and find different reputable companies to clean up after MBRGFR. Shame on you MBRFGR. Unfortunately, our first-time home purchase has been a complete nightmare. A time that should have been full of dreaming, joy and fun with creating our own space has been tarnished working with MBRGFR.com Foundation repair. MBRGFR installed piers under our house in 2018. In 2022 we had new cracks. Called them since we had a lifetime warranty. They told us 60% of foundation issues are from leaks. They sent a plumber out who told us we had a leak so no warranty. They wanted to install additional piers since the first ones didn't seem to be enough. Still no warranty! Decided ti get second opinion. No leaks!! Also got a second opinion from a recommended foundation company. Don't recommend more piers (tearing up inside flooring and damaging plumbing). Honest and trustworthy! I am so thankful for MBR Foundation. When I first noticed I might be having foundation issues, I called several foundation companies. All but MBR wanted to replace all my piers. The rep from MBR suggested I take the next six months to manage the moisture in my soil to see if things might improve. The rep also spent a considerable amount of time explaining to me the ins and outs of caring for a foundation in the Texas heat and soil type in my area. 6 months later they came back out and sure enough, there was significant improvement and no foundation work was needed. As a first time homebuyer, it was kind of daunting to hear about foundation issues but Eric Herrera did my inspection and kept me informed throughout the entire repair process. When your crew chief came back out to assess the damage caused to my foundation, you assured us you would be there with them, you were not. Horrible. They did my neighbors house and made a mess of their house and my house in the process. The reviews yelp doesn't show are all true. Crew was rude and everyone else we came into contact with at the company to rectify a situation that occurred as a result of their mess were not people you want to trust your house and thousands of dollars to. They seem to work for contractors based on the testimonials on their website. If you're buying a house that just had foundation repair in or around Dallas, ask if MBR Guaranteed did it. Unfortunately, the negative reviews I've read regarding MBR's business practices are accurate. We purchased a property which was under an MBR warranty for it's foundation and needed repair. After reading up on MBR and many of their unfavorable reviews I was anticipating a struggle for them to honor their warranty. We were quoted 5,000 for the warranty repair estimate (not surprised they turned a warranty call into a profit job) and after some negotiation on what the estimate included the amount was reduced to 3200. Once we signed their repair estimate they asked for 1/2 payment up front which we accepted. They then said we would be charged a 3 percent convenience fee if a CC was used. In the state of Texas charging a service fee to pay with a CC is not legal. We sent them the link on the texas attorney general which clearly outlines how this practice is in violation of the texas finance code. They responded by saying they would no longer honor the repair estimate and were choosing to not do business with us - citing that we had been disagreeable from the onset. If you were ever charged a service fee for using a CC to pay MBR for services please contact me. Apart from litigation regarding their breach of contract I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general as I believe MBR is intentionally breaching texas law regarding CC transaction fees. It appears this company feels it's not only above reproach but also above the law. read more

I have never used them to complete work. My rating is based solely on responsiveness. I appreciate being contacted after I posted my review, despite it being years after I contacted them and weeks after my last attempt. I appreciate the time spent with me reviewing the prior work and repair recommendations. Despite the fact that they completed initial work, the warranty was voided because the prior owners used a different company on a different part of the house a few years after MBR-I wonder why? Updated Review: Updating my rating to 3 stars (1 star for Doug, 5 stars for Phillip, average being 3 stars). After fighting with MBR to honor their warranty for several years (3-4 years, yes it was that long), I decided to write a scathing review, see below, and finally they decided to honor their warranty. Of course they knew that there was more work to be done on the house, so it still worked out in their favor. I was contacted by Phillip, and he was great. After working with Doug previously, you would never guess they were from the same company. Phillip took great care of me, assuring me that I would be taken care of. I was updated through every step of the repair, and made sure the work was done to satisfaction. Kudos. I still hold the belief that Doug should still be fired and relegated to employment only by the government where such indifference, disdain, and terrible customer service is acceptable behavior. If Doug screws you over, give Phillip a call, and see if he may be able to help. His number is: 817.891.642 six. Original Review: A bunch of scam artists formed a company named MBR Guaranteed Foundation Repair, and they do well screwing people. I bought a house with foundation repair performed by MBR, and came with a "lifetime" warranty. It cost me $300 to swap the warranty over. Cool. 3 years later, I start getting cracks in the ceiling. The exact same area they fixed before, started to sag. I call them up, an inspector, Doug, comes out to look at the house. He was the biggest asshole ever, terse, rude, and a terrible person all around. Whatever. I told him that I'd leave the door open, and just let me know what he finds. 20 minutes go by. 40 minutes go by. 60 minutes go by. I call Doug, no answer. Same story after multiple tries. Fed up with him, I call the office and seeing what happened, the office called me back and said he had already left. Left without a word. After days of trying to get a hold of Doug, he finally emails me a report saying that the soil is eroding. They cannot do anything until the soil is replaced and supposedly the house will settle. I have soil replaced in the area affected. Several months go by, and the foundation hasn't gotten any worse. I call Doug back out. He does the same BS inspection, looks outside the house, takes a couple pictures. Writes me an email saying that I cannot make a claim on my warranty. He stated that my house was not maintained properly with the soil erosion and watering the foundation, something he didn't note at all in the first inspection, despite the pictures clearly showing soaker hoses (that I set on a timer). He also states shifts in soil are not covered by warranty. Pretty clear that they had no intention of honoring their warranty, but the question is why did he tell me to add more soil and call them in a couple months? Obviously stalling and hoping that I won't add more soil. After trying to get Doug on the phone for weeks and repeated emails, I have no such luck. No one from the office can help me with any kind of warranty information or claim, just Doug. Finally after a couple weeks, he sends another email saying simply, "We will not honor your warranty, end of story." All emails and calls continued to be ignored. Office staff also useless. Don't believe the positive reviews. Most are from his friends and realtors who get commission from using this terrible company. read more

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY, unless you are a seller and want a favorable report!!!! We recently purchased a house in Feb 2022 and after a home inspection, had concerns with some possible foundation issues. We were told to put a foundation inspection on our repairs list, since our option period was so short, and the owner of the home had Eric from MBRGRF come out to do an assessment. The report showed -1.1, -1.2, and -2.1 through the front-right side of our house and despite all recommendations stating anything over or under 1.0 should indicate work, this company gave the seller a letter stating NO work needed to be done. This didn't sit right, so we ended up having two other foundation companies, as well as a structural engineer come out and all agreed in that area that work needed to be done (11 piers to be specific, as well as a portion of the back of the house needing a footing and pillar). Of course, this was after we were out of option period with our seller, as we did not get the report until two days before closing. When I emailed the company to get an explanation as to why this had happened, they sent out a manager, Phillip, to discuss the findings with us in person. Pretty much a walking, used car salesman trying to cover his butt, with not an ounce of care for us in the world. Walks through our front door without looking at anything and immediately begins to tell us no work needs to be done on the house. He dismissed one of the foundation companies completely that we had come out for a second opinion and said they were nothing but money hungry people and stated that the other company was also incorrect about work needing to be done. He proceeded to tell us that the structural engineer did not do his job properly nor give proper recommendations for repairs. He said those companies, including the engineer, go solely on numbers and measurements, when in fact, the numbers should only equate to 25% of a recommendation. And even though he agreed with us that anything above or below a 1 deems work, despite his guy providing a report that stated number at -1 and -2, he still agrees that no work needs to be done. It was in his professional opinion (which he had a lot of) that he did not see any structural damage to our house because there was no major cracks in the exterior brick or crooked doors in that area of the house, and if we were to even get work done, they would not even try to raise our house due to the damage it would cause (despite the three other opinions we got discussing raising our home and what possible damage may occur, but that still being the standard process). The placement of beams would be solely for support to prevent any further sinking at this point. He even went as far as to say that he had spoken with our structural engineer and he confirmed they would not raise our house, despite the day the engineer came and did his report, I had a 15 minute conversation with him at the end about how they raise homes in these instances and what potential damage it may cause and he stated they would raise it until the damage no longer paid off for the raise. So right there, Phillip lied, so I did not appreciate nor trust a whole lot that came out of his mouth at that point. He even informed us that the structural engineer was wrong in his report about our back patio area and the supports we have for a portion of the upstairs, that have sunk over 4 inches and are causing large humps in the upstairs flooring, being nothing more than a framing issue that has been in place since the house was built. He started to ask questions to deem whether or not we had any structural damage that would deem work, and every time we answered yes to him, such as plumbing issues in that area of the house, which to date, we have three issues, or cracked tile, which he said was just poor laying, he would find and excuse or reason as to why that issue despite normally indicating foundation issues, is not a foundation issue in our case. His reasoning for work not needing to be done, despite the reports from two other foundation companies and an engineer, is that in his opinion, our house has no structural issue or foundation issues, he would live in it as is. He let us know he would be willing to come back out in a year to take measurements again, that way he can properly assess when we will need repairs. He assured us that he was not trying to protect his guy (Eric), he would throw him under the bus if he had to, but that wasn't the case at all. He (Phillip) was actually supposed to be the one to come out to give the initial report, but was out of town that day, but made sure that he consulted with his guy prior to the report being submitted to make sure it was accurate. He also made it very clear that he has known the seller's agent, as well as our agent, for quite some time and assured us multiple times, despite this relationship, that he wasn't doing either of them a favor by giving a favorable report for the seller, de read more

HAPPY UPDATE! Leak Squad came out and fixed the electrical wiring they had cut when putting in the cleanouts. Would have been great customer service had I not had to badger them about it but, final outcome is that they did fix their mistake. Needed to have two cleanouts installed for the plumbing system. They dug the hole in the front yard, next to the house to accomplish this. This week we discovered they had cut the electrical wire for one station of the sprinkler system. I contacted them to see how they wanted to handle the repair. Here is their reply: "...but any expense incurred with repair will be up to you, leak squad does not take liability for collateral damages". I've contacted both Leak Squad and their parent company, MBRGFR and can get no other response. I guess what really frustrates me is that this is probably a $50 repair. Wouldn't you think it would be worth it for them to repair it? UPDATE: Thanks for the email I received yesterday regarding the cut wiring at my house in North Richland Hills. Your email read: "These types of wires are brown and green and look like roots and are easily mistaken as such. Please understand that if we were aware of any damages incurred, we would have attempted to repair at that time and/or notified you immediately and left an access point for a repair technician." So I guess that since your employee was not able to see that he had cut these very difficult to see wires, you are sticking by their no liability policy? It's interesting that this policy must waver back and forth on whether or not the employee knew they cut the wiring.....twice. And I guess it's not enough when the customer calls to tell you cut the wires. SMH read more

Poor Customer Service Slab cracked again after initial repair. Thought it would be warranty, but it was not. They had to add additional piers, with additional cost. My opinion is that is was not evaluated or repaired correctly the first time. With the recent rains, one of the pier locations had a significant sink hole under the house. If the other 15 plus locations did not sink, I would think that this one was not back filled correctly. They refuse to fill the hole unless I pay them to come out. Was told it would be quite expensive and should "throw a couple of bags of dirt in there myself." They know their contract well. Basically, it says they don't cover anything. read more

This was one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever done business with. At one point I had to actually go upstairs or else I was going to kick them off my property. My biggest concern was safety for myself and my family. They had completed most of the work when I started asking the crew leader about the one-call (811) that is required by Texas law if any excavation below 18" is being done. The crew leader told me they do not make one-calls, even though he told me that they have hit a gas line before. This is extremely unsafe for the employees and the home owner. Why would a company ramming cement pillars several feet below ground not take the time to make sure no gas, fiber optic, or electric lines are there? What concerned me even more was that he really did not take my concern seriously. Had I known this ahead of time I would never have allowed them to start work on my property. Then the crew leader seemed angry that the company's salesperson did not tell them My home had a deck they would have to dismantle before the repair--even though I paid extra because of this. It was a Friday and the crew leader made it very obvious he was ready to get this over with and start the weekend. Then the guys did not have the proper tools to dismantle my deck and took hammers and saws to tear parts of it down. We were told ahead of time that there could be a few top boards broken when being pulled off the top of the deck, but we were never told that saws and sledgehammers would be used to damage the actual structure of the deck. I would not have cared if the deck had been repaired to its original condition, but after the hammers and saws there was no way that it could be. I would have gladly hired someone to come take the deck down carefully if I had known they were doing to damage the integrity of my deck. When we called our salesperson to express frustration over the way they were dismantling the deck he acted as if we were just being picky. Also, the crew leader seriously asked if we wanted the cement under our deck--that they demolished--replaced it if he could just throw the boards from the deck back over it. I also paid extra to make sure it was replaced to the same condition that it was before they did work on my property. He obviously just wanted to leave because it was Friday afternoon and did not want to wait for his crew to complete the job they were paid to do. After they finished doing most of the repairs, the crew leader told us he didn't need to run final measurements because he "just knew" the house was where it needed to be. We told him that he did need to run measurements so that we had a reference to know for sure the house was repaired, and to know what the levels are so we will know if the house had foundation problems in the future. He just seemed frustrated and went and sat in his truck. So the bottom line for me is that this company was unprofessional, unsafe, and do shoddy work. I had originally planned to allow them to do my plumbing repairs, but after the foundation work I promptly canceled and decided to use another company. To be fair, it is possible that I had a really bad crew leader, but from the other reviews it looks like I am not the only one having problems with them. read more

Shady, shady, shady. That is the best words I can come up with at this point to describe this company. We have a house on the market and the Realtor brought his own foundation specialist to look at our property for repairs. Found it a bit odd, but went with it. MBR inspected and came up with the idea we needed 10 piers done on one side of the house. Once we got the inspection report, it CLEARLY stated that the inspector didn't think our home was in need of repair at this time. Just for laughs I called 3 five star companies off of Angies List and Good Contractors list. All findings were the same as the inspector. Though there was slight movement, NONE of them thought it was in need of ANY repair at this time. Though MBR made it sound lucrative rolling the cost into closing, seems they didn't have a clue on what they were talking about. I'd def get OTHER opinions before doing business with anyone. read more

Hi Lance, Thank you for writing back. As I stated in my first review after the initial work on the foundation was done the field technicians did not cover the hole at all. They left the work site the way it was. I don't know if this was because the bank was the owner at the time or what. The gentleman that was sent back to fill in the whole was very apologetic and did not know how the hole was not closed up in the first place. I would like to address your comment about the General Conditions discussing sinkholes. The contract states: "It should be noted that some level of risk is associated with all types of foundation and repair and there is no such thing as a risk free foundation repair movement. Cosmetic damage includes, but is not limited to cracks in sheetrock, separation at caulk lines, tile separation, mortar cracks, difficulty in opening and closing doors and windows, warping of flooring and gaps around fascia boards". Noted that the contract includes "but is not limited to" but if you expect there to be 2 or 3 sinkholes after the repairs I believe that this is something that needs to be clarified in your contract. You say that the field technicians are aware of sinkholes and are very forward with the customers, which is great. Being that I wasn't the initial customer and that many other homeowners purchase homes with a transferable warranty maybe you should be more forward in your contract. The contract describes damages that could happen to the property as a cause of lifting the foundation which is understandable. But a sinkhole is part of your work site. Your company dug this hole up and I believe it should also fill it up. But this is just an opinion of a frustrated customer. Also, you mentioned that normally there is left over top soil that your repairmen leave so that the homeowner can rake the remains over the sinkholes. Not only did they not leave any top soil around the area but they didn't even cover it to begin with. I guess because they were dealing with the bank and not the actual owner they thought it was unnecessary to leave the soil there. We recently bought a home which needed some foundation repairs prior to the purchase. MBRGFR was able to adjust their schedule and make the necessary repairs before our closing. Several weeks later I had some questions regarding the repairs and spoke to Lance. I was relieved when Lance called me back. I've been accustomed to having to call companies more than once to get a phone call back, but MBRGFR called back within a couple of hours. Lance also spent time we me on the phone answering my questions and listening to my concerns about the house we just purchased. My experience with the company has been very good. read more

If anyone needs a foundation company, I would suggest this one and ask for Doug Rushing b/c he's the one who came out and did my inpsection. He just came to my house for a Free inspection and estimate for possible repairs and told me I didn't need to do Anything, just cosmetic work if I wanted to....and this is right after another company came out and told me I needed $8,000 of repairs yesterday!! Always a great experience with MBR. They know their stuff and they get it done quickly and carefully.

If I could put a zero I would. They caused about 20k in damages to my home went they sent out their own plumbing company to conduct a leak detection test. Literally 15 min after they left the supply line on the toilet popped off thus flooding my entire house. I also slipped in the tile and had to have back surgery (a fusion) which has life long affects on my mobility. The plumber that was sent out was not insured and neither is the parent company (MBR). By law the plumber is required to have insurance so they clearly follow unlawful business practices. And if you do your research on them you will find I am not the only one they have done this to. Since they hold no insurance you can't collect funds there and if sued they file bankruptcy and never pay out what the consumer is owed. These guys clearly do not operate under good business practices. read more

I have to say I honestly didn't think they would care about my review, much less do anything about it, so to get that response from them is very much appreciated. My husband and I used MBR to do a foundation inspection for the house we just bought as well as the house we're moving out of. I found them to be extremely courteous, helpful, and friendly, as well as honest. I spoke with Lance on the phone to schedule the inspections, and worked with Tex on both home inspections. I could not be more impressed and am very glad to have found such an honest company! I'm confused at some of the low reviews, because after working with them on two separate homes, I cannot say enough good things about the company. Recently had work done by Jimmy and his crew. Jimmy was onsite the entire job, and was very helpful in explaining all the work and how to maintain it. He was very professional, as was his crew. They did a good clean up job and left the black clay soil to fill the holes with (unfortunately it is not good to grow anything in!) That being said, I wish I had asked more questions up front, before the contract was signed, to clarify with the sales person the process they follow, what they will cover and won't. BE sure to interview multiple companies, 3 is not enough. This company was recommended by 2 friends I trusted, and so far I am Perfectly satisfied with the work the crew did. read more
