As it turned out, we had lacking insulation in our attic and no insulation at all in our exterior walls. Mark presented us with several options and guided us toward the option that would have the most immediate impact and fit our budget. He filed all of the paperwork for the Xcel rebate. While Xcel took quite a while to process the rebate, it ended up being substantially more than I was expecting and certainly help offset the costs improving the insulation throughout our home. Before the improvements, the second level of our 2-story home was significantly hotter in the Summer or colder in the Winter, than the main floor.
