(I don't work for RH, they contract to the company I work for). I feel the price is a GREAT value when comparing to other local apartments. The amenities are definitely part of the value. Underground heated parking garage for one vehicle, the heated pool (although a bit small) trash removal, cable tv and internet, gym, fire pit with two commercial grade grills and community room are all part of the rent. Most places charge extra. The staff are genuinely interested in you enjoying your apartment. It is very much a community. It consists of all age ranges and we all interact well. The only real negative I can say is that now there is a lot of construction going on. The only real issue we have had to speak of is a tenant that felt our dog was aggressive and threatening and rather than speak to us directly about it chose to go to management. It is a VERY dog friendly community. If you're not a dog friendly person then it's not the place for you. Yes there are varying sizes of dogs but I contribute that to "it's a service dog" excuse. None the less it's so dog friendly that we had a text chain for dog owners that would get together and let the dogs play together out on the large grass areas. In summary, it's an active community in the sense that there are three restaurants in the building and that the community really watches out and helps each other. The quality of the construction of the building is second to none. All concrete and still definitely well insulated from neighbor noise. I highly recommend River House. From the ladies in the office to the the maintenance staff they are top notch.

Oh, and a 2-car garage! There are two styles, this a "condominium style" and the other a hotel style (one main secure entrance and all the separate apartment entrances are inside. No longer have to do yard work, snow removal, don't have to repair or replace appliances, don't have to pay for weekly pool service or an annual gym membership. Need something, just "call the team." They are polite and prompt to respond. Close to shopping, restaurants, casino and downtown area. Cable included! Electric, gas, water, sewer and garbage are an additional charge but National Grid is around $110/mo and the other utilities/garbage average less than $50 month. If I could have anything different, it would be a different style refrigerator, the upright with freezer on the top (and no ice maker) doesn't provide much freezer space. Without reservation, we recommend the Reserve at Glenville for a peaceful, beautiful lifestyle! Refrigerator is very low quality, the door shelves fall almost every time you open it. The stove is poor quality, only one burner works efficiently. No bathroom linen closets and no bathroom storage except under the sink. Master bedroom walk in closet is half the size it should be to be labeled as "walk in closet". Most luxury apartment complexes come and replace the furnace filters for you, not this place. You have to do it yourself and buy the filters yourself, which would've been ok, except for the fact it's a size that is not common at all. We couldn't find a filter to fit the furnace at all, none of the major home retailers like Lowe's & Home Depot had it, not even Amazon. There are dead trees around the property, one tree fell on our car & there was no assistance with the damages. We had individual trash pick up with bins provided by County Waste, then they took that away and put in a trash compactor, where everyone has to bring their trash down to the compactor instead of having it picked up. The residents should've been able to keep the County Waste trash service. Grounds were not fully manicured & paved. Parking not designed well, if everyone had a car in each of their designated spots, you wouldn't be able to pull in it & out. Property was not yet complete, yet they sent notices to the residents about increasing the rent. Maintenance staff were very nice, I do want to point that out. Area is quiet & private & you don't see any of your neighbors' decks/balconies, which is also nice.

I caught several and found piles of mouse droppings. I requested help for a year little to no response. My apartment is VERY clean, I had to leave my utensils in the dishwasher and all food basically out of reach. 2. They pick and choose who's worthy of all new appliances when moving in. I received a refrigerator loaded with mouse droppings. 3. My door number wasn't visible the door paint chipping and stripping broken. My packages delivered to the wrong address. When I asked I was told to put in a work order, I did and nothing, however they painted doors for tenants moving in after me and gave them new numbers. 4. During Covid I got a noise complaint one email and a few days later a letter with eviction terminology. I have two athletic kids and covid just started. The landlord sided with her long term tenants immediately even asked if she could speak to my children. I have to say that was a huge insult i found myself justifying my parenting by saying wait my oldest child is a doctor, behavior is so important to me. I almost lived at my moms house to avoid complaints as the kids adjusted to covid all while still paying my rent on time. 4. They force their way in your apartment if they want things done on their time frame even when it's non emergency. 5. Inside of the apartment isn't updated outdated everything. 6. Air conditioning outside was sparking with fire flames! Because of the way things are patched and half fixed this is SCARY! 7. Last I would not recommend to ANY African Americans, pre-judgements and differential treatment is obvious. Again I wanted to like this place and I think it certainly has potential with new non bias management. Don't expect luxury living. Their kindness diminishes after you move in, they seem bothered. The owner obviously has no concern for things being done fairly. I now understand the high turnover and get the two months free rent offer for longer leases. I truly do not recommend this complex. Especially to African Americans. Clearly an obvious bias by Christine who manages the property. I've been with them 3 years after I sold my home and it's been horrible! Wondering if this was a good fit for my mom. The minute I met Max, his personality, his dedication to the seniors who live here made my decision so easy. He knows the residents by name, each one we came in contact with. It seemed to me he was "friends" with each one. He listens to issues, he just listens patiently if they just want to chat. He has the patience of a saint, and I told him. It take a special individual to do what he does. Someone who really cares about the seniors.
