The thing that I find most impressive is that they really walk you through everything...soup to nuts. At your first appointment the receptionist sits down and explains your insurance coverage so you know exactly what to expect financially. I have NEVER been at any healthcare office and had them do that. Then you receive physical therapy that gets you out of pain...fast. I was starting to feel a lot better after just 3 visits. Dr. Kent is an amazingly skilled surgeon and after two surgeries I would highly recommend him…read more However, their office is very difficult to deal with. They have the "gatekeepers" you have to work through so you never know if it's them who are making decisions or an actual physician. I never even spoke to Dr. Kent except for the day of surgery. If he's that busy that he can't meet with patients or answer questions maybe they need to cut back on patient numbers. When I had a concerning issue after the surgery I was unable to speak to anyone other than a patient navigator, who is an LPN. I need to know it's a physician making medical decisions for my care, not someone with a limited medical background. No offense intended, but this is life and death when you're dealing with nerve/spine issues, not a sprained ankle.
