I want to share my thoughts on Pinnacle's job at my home. I searched for companies on Google and Yelp, but decided to ask my neighbors on Nextdoor. Based on those recommendations, I got six estimates ranging from $1,600 to $2,100 for licensed and insured companies, and from $400 to $2,500 for unlicensed companies. It was suggested that I ask each company if their crews are employees or day laborers. I asked them how they would dispose of the tree trimmings. I selected Pinnacle, a local company owned by Javier, who lives in Saugus (but has a Valley phone number: 818-624-5939). Javier was at the job for the entire time that his one-man crew, George, was up in my trees. Javier and George worked together and did a great job trimming two bottlebrush and five Podocarpus. They brought their shredder and reduced the trimmings to mulch. I like this way of doing business because some of the bidders would have taken the cuttings to the dump. Today was our second time and using pinnacle tree care. They removed a dying eucalyptus tree along with some overgrown vines and bushes. It was a pleasure to have them on our property as they were professional, friendly, highly proficient at what they did and cleaned up after themselves very nicely. Pinnacle is the real deal! After having some work done several years ago with another company, which wasn't what we asked for, I was unsure of what to expect from Pinnacle. But after meeting Javier, I was confident that he understood exactly what I wanted and why. He listened. He didn't try and sell me on things I didn't need, he listened and gave me direct feedback on what I wanted and exactly how he was going to do it. But I was completely blown away when they showed up and went to work. Wow! They were a team and everyone knew exactly what to do and went to work. In a short time, they did so much and it went so well. They protected my home and my property. Everyone knew exactly what to do and what I thought would take several days, they were cleaning up and checking to see if there was anything else I could do by the end of the day. Javier met with me several times during the work to check in and keep in informed. It was interesting to watch them work. I was impressed! Javier and his team were fantastic. We live in a senior mobile home park in Santa Clarita and were pressured by our managers to trim our cypress trees (or they would pull them out). We had a large tree in our backyard break in the recent windstorm/fires. The remaining part of the tree was threatening to snap and fall on to the neighbors house! Javier and team responded quickly to my call for help and arrived in less than an hour and quickly removed the tree and the debris. Very reliable company, they came out, gave me an estimate and then emailed me a written estimate. And within a couple days they were on my property trimming and sending out five trees that were massively overgrown. They did a great job.
