I found Patrick's site and signed up for the class in the early morning at El Sobrante reservoir in the East Bay. Excellent class - Patrick is a very patient instructor, and taught the small group how to use our cameras in a host of different conditions. He went over f-stops, film speed, aperture, shutter speed, and how to combine them to get better shots than the pre-set "auto" on our cameras. He spent plenty of time with each student. It was a really fun class, and I feel like I have a much better understanding of my camera and how to get great shots instead of just winging it.
