Warm and patient. She was prepared and had a wonderful way with all of us and taught us well. Ww all were at very different ability levels and she was able to help all of ua achieve the goal. Came here kinda close to closing on a Monday night trying something fun and new. The staff person…read moregreeted us and asked if we had been there before which we told her no - she explained the process and told us we could pick our item and she would help set up. it took her a minute to help us get "set up" but really it was just her explaining how the glazing worked and where the paint and supplies were. I picked an item that was around 20 bucks and it was actually pretty fun. The paint they use dries fast so its easy to use multiple coats. I was able of finish a small project in 20 minutes or so. The staff stayed a bit late to help us finish and we didn't feel rushed. We were able to bring home the second not yet finished item for next time. There is a nomimal fee if you dont finish and need to come back later. Otherwise they fire up your project and you caome back in a week to retrieve it. Looking around I kept thinking how cute it would be to bring my kids or girl friends back here and would love to work on another project. The prices for the actual items were a better price than I anticipated as well!

Janet was awesome, she had the supplies we would need, a ton of patience which she needed because as you know, when women get together, all we do is...yack yack yack and she really made me feel at ease. I'm one who likes to go rouge on these types of things and I've been to paint parties where the instructor was clearly irritated by it but not Janet, she encouraged it which made my night a whole lot more fun by not having to worry about getting frowned at for wanting to paint something blue instead of grey lol. I can definitely see myself doing this again in a "home setting" real soon. If you get a chance, book Janet, you'll have fun and go home with some really cool art!!!

We had a great time instructor (forgive me I forgot her name ‍) was very patient and helpful. My son even enjoyed it and found another piece of art on the wall that he wants to come back and make. Pick it up in a week after a month they throw it away. Super friendly owners. My niece had a great time I would take her again. Also...If you have extra bubble wrap that you get from shipping packages please consider giving it to this location as they use it to wrap up their customers fragile artifacts. Recycle. Reuse. Repurpose!

We had no idea what to expect going in, but we were extremely happy to see such a cute and intimate set up! The host, Jennifer, planned this night SO WELL. She had macaroons, cookies, coffee/tea for us to enjoy, with relaxing music playing in the background. Jennifer also had a massage therapist, Anna, join and offer each of us a massage (amazing!). As for the activity itself, the watercolor painting was really fun and relaxing to do. We were able to turn our watercolor art into cute bookmarks. (Stickers, hole punchers, and tassels were all provided!) On top of everything provided, we even got a small gift bag to take at the end of the night. My friend and I can't wait to take another one of Jennifer's classes in the future

Had a wonderful relaxing art class at Once Upon A Canvas! I loved her wide variety of activities…read moreand goodies! The class was focused on self care/mindfulness which I absolutely loved! It's been a long week and this was just what I needed. She had someone there to do massages, had tea, coffee, yummy sweets, key chain making, and a beautiful art project. I drove all the way from Sacramento to attend with my mom and I would absolutely drive all the way back down here again to take another class here. Can't wait for my next class!!
