Went there for my birthday to do a paint and sip. They were very helpful and had a nice variety of beverages available. It was mostly wine and canned cocktails. They have a lot of events on their calendar so I recommend taking a look. They go out pretty far in advance. The service was great!

My office had our holiday party here and it was so much fun! I have never done anything like this before and this was an amazing first experience! Sarah the paint instructor was so much fun and really made painting easy! It was so fun to follow along with her and paint our canvas! Such a fun open creative space. Definitely recommend for a fun gathering

How cool is this little spot?! My mother in law and I went to Pinots Palette on a Saturday AM. We brought our own bottle of wine, but there is a bar/concession area if you don't bring your own! The gentleman who started the class was awesome, full of energy, and instructed us well. In the end, we had a beautiful painting my MIL is putting in her house. We would absolutely go back!!!

I love Pinot's Palette! Thanks Matt E for introducing them to me at an earlier elite event. I returned for a class given by Cayla and Carla. The painting was "Birds on a Wire." I loved the painting when I saw it on their website, so it's the one I chose to paint. The class size was about 15. One group was a wedding shower, one group was 3 friends. I came alone. Easels are set up at stations, prenamed (with chalk), and the paint was premeasured on a paperplate. There were 3 brushes, and a glass of water. The instructor was cheery, knowledgeable and helpful. They gave us plenty of time to paint the design, providing skills that are useful for other painting. I loved the experience of the class room, skills and the end result. The staff is fantastic. There is wine to purchase, some bought their own. (note to self, bring snacks next time). I'll keep an eye out for other paintings I want to paint. What a cool placem great instruction. awesome music (I painted the sunset while Sublime sang in the background, "I don't cry when my dog runs away." almost to a sing along with the class participants. They have frames for $35. I just really love the entire class, facility, easy parking, beautiful area.

A fun outing! Had enough of bowling & movie nights and looking for something new to do with friends? BRING YOUR OWN WINE & FOOD, they provide the glasses and plates/silverware. They sell wine too. Just come and have fun painting! If you are like me and haven't done anything 'artsy' since high school, don't worry. There's lots of guidance and instructions from the professional artists on hand (all of whom have art degrees!). They will be there to help you relax, have a great time and paint something memorable. The new studio is beautiful and there's so many great sample projects adorning the walls you won't lack for inspiration. Some of my favorites included sporty KC Royals and Chiefs art fit for any man cave or game den, beautiful nature scenes and some fun themes involving wine, fashion, Paris..etc. Truly something for everyone: beginners and more advanced enthusiasts.

Omg! I had so much fun here!! I laughed and relaxed while learning how to paint! The atmosphere is so relaxing and even though there are steps to follow so you can learn you can do whatever you want because it's YOUR painting. I am not that creative or a painter but I did not do so bad for my first time! Teachers are great there!

I came here for an Elite event and let me tell you how GREAT of an experience it was! First off, great idea for a business. How can you want more than booze & paint all in one setting? Such a great environment, selection of wine and beers, and an awesome staff who will teach you how to paint. I came here and painted the Nelson Atkins museum and let me tell you I was nervous! All free hand painting! Have no fear, the teachers are here! They give you step by step instructions on how to paint the object with ease. Plus you do get to bring out your inner artist with the liquid courage flowing. While the paint dries, you get to take advantage of the drinks they offer as well as scan the wall for the previous paintings that were made. It's so cool to see what kinds of pictures they offer to teach you there! I definitely had my imagination run wild with new things I want to paint! It was such an incredible event and I can't wait to come back soon!

Fun evening of painting a KC landmark!

Painting at Pinot's Palette was a really fun Elite event. It was an activity I'd considered trying it in the past, but this was final push I needed to get in front of the canvas and have a very patient artist lead me through creation of a KC masterpiece! Now that I've given it a go, I know I'll be back with friends for ladies nights and bachelorette events in the future. Coming in the door, we were able to store our coats in cubies and put on smocks to protect our clothes. There were snacks for munching along with a nice selection of 3 wines and 8 or so bottled beers to choose from. I think the glass of wine consumed prior to painting definitely helped to improve my amateur brush strokes. I liked that the artist leading the class provided step-by-step, clear instructions for painting the Nelson-Atkins museum and shuttlecocks. Personalized help was also provided, which was very nice in helping to change my blank canvas into a piece of art that I'm not ashamed to display at home. Overall, really fun, with opportunities to mingle at the start of the event and during a few breaks during the painting. I like that Pinot's Palette offers a wide array of paintings to choose from in future classes -from flowers to KC Royals motifs, it seemed like there was something for everyone. Another great Elite event!

My wife and I visited here twice in two weeks for some solid evenings of fun. I was concerned about my own ability as I'm not really the artistic type, but the instructors are patient and helpful. They give excellent suggestions and are really there to help you, not run you down. They have 2 rooms for painting, the main room and the private party room. We only were in their main room, but I would guess the experience would be about the same. They set you up with a canvas and all the colors you will need for the night. For those of the overly artistic persuasion, they do allow you to add your own flair to the painting. It is yours to take home after all. Change the colors or whatever you want to do. The second night we were there, there were a few people who just painted their own thing. Pinot's Palette is not just about painting. They encourage people to bring in their own drinks. Lots of wine all around. While my wife and I don't drink, it didn't bother us. If you don't bring anything, they do sell some stuff if you wish to partake. It was a fun couple of date nights. Now we just have to find places to hang all the paintings...

Our group had a great time. The artists were so supportive and so much fun. I so much look forward to doing this again!

Fun fun fun! I visited with a girlfriend, and painted the "Wine & Jazz" selection. Class was about 20, which was a perfect size. Pinot's Palette really has their system down, they walked us through every step of the process, and everyone had a lovely canvas by the end! Our instructor, Rachel, was fun & bubbly. She encouraged us to personalize our paintings -- e.g., put our name or initials on the label of the wine bottle, that kind of thing. We all had a blast! I'd recommend it without hesitation to anyone, whether you think you're "good at art" or not. Hint, you're probably better than you think. Have fun making something pretty.

Our first painting class. What a creative and truly fun evening. BYOB a plus.

We could have asked for a better way to have spent a Sunday evening together. I can't wait to go again. So much fun and I enjoyed seeing everyone's paintings. Loved that we could bring our own wine.

Went for my birthday last week. I loved it. Instructors were friendly, encouraging and funny. Class had a good flow to it. Started and ended on time. Painting were pretty much dry by the time it was time to go. They offer a blow dryer if its not. They provide everything except what ever you are drinking and snacks. You can also buy bottles there. The only thing. I was not to keen about was everyone chilled their drinks and got ice from the same bucket. I understand each group can not have their own individual chiller but it would be nice if everyone could chill their drinks in one bucket and have a seperate bucket for everyone to get the ice out of. I recommend this class for everyone. You dont have to be an artist. Everyone will leave with something recognizable and unique. Something you can be proud of. Will be back!

Northern Lights never looked so good! We had a blast painting at Pinots Palette! Instructors and atmosphere were outstanding!

Sara made painting fun and easy. My "tween" niece and I both loved the experience. We both agreed we would absolutely do it again.

They also keep the space clean and organized, which is no easy feat given the nature of the business! The selection of crafts, while a bit pricey, is excellent. I've found that if it's in budget (you can find info on pricing on their website), you can find something fun for just about anyone. And regarding the price points, to me it does make sense given the cost of materials and labor involved. Whenever I go, I always leave room in my budget to add the suggested tip for the employees since they do such a great job and deserve to be paid well for it. Their specialty shakes are also AMAZING! Seriously, the price point they're at makes sense considering all of the extra goodies that are piled on top of the shake itself, and they're delicious! Just be sure to grab a napkin or two if you order one since it can get a bit messy. My one complaint, if I can even call it that, is that when it's especially busy it can be a bit cramped trying to walk around between the tables. That said, it's not bad enough for me to dock them a star since they use and manage their space well, and when I've been there people were generally conscientious of their surroundings which in turn reduced potential problems. All in all, Creative Culture is a bit pricey but very fun and well run! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to go for a celebration, special occasion, or even just because. I can't wait to go again someday!

There was a 2-3 week wait for our clay painting pieces to get finished to pick up, but that's reasonable. Highly recommend this as a cute date or activity spot! It does get a little busy, and you may be sitting right next to people you don't know. But it didn't feel too cramped or crowded still, and it's perfect for chatting if you're up for it! And to add since this is something I often look up as well. LGBT friendly, we felt safe and comfortable.
