For proteins the options are usually, Pollo Guisado, Chuleta Guisado, and Carne Guisade (stewed chicken, stewed pork chops, stewed beef) Fried pork chops, grilled chicken, bacalao (stewed cod with tomatoes and potatoes). For Fritura there are Pastelitos (empanadas, beef, chicken, or ham and cheese), Kipes, Beef Patties, Bollita de Yuca and the list goes on.
