I love to go to this store once in a while because they have different brands (mostly Mexican/latino brands) that you don't see in the usual American grocery stores. They also have different options in the meat/poultry/seafood section. For example, I usually find Chicken liver in this store. Right next to a gas station on Rt 135, so it's a very convenient location. Yes, I also go here to purchase bread. They have a little bakery section too. Huge parking. read more

Produce is VERY reasonable (and sometimes downright cheap!), and this place has a brand of Linguica (Portuguese Sausage, for those who don't know... and for those who don't know, you should go get some right now and grill it up) that is superior to all around. Roche Bros. used to sell Gaspars, my previous fave. Stop & Shop sells Amarals (GROSS)... this place sells "Cortes" brand and it's the best. You might need a Portuguese translator, but I did my best and said "Obrigada" (thank you) to the ladies working and had a good experience. Friendly and fast. read more

Nice Brazilian grocery store. Prices were average. Parking is fine, service good and the place is clean and organized. The store is certainly a decent size for a grocery store but don't expect it to be like a major chain store. Great for latin foods and basic staples if you live nearby. Food quality of deli, bakery, produce seems average. Nothing special. read more

Good all-around store for Brazilian groceries, produce, meat, bakery and prepared food. It's pretty comparable to supermarkets that I've visited in Rio de Janeiro (but without a wine and liquor section). The items that I specifically shop for here are Brazilian ground coffee, Yerba mate, and specialized cuts of meat for traditional asado. Also, I'm a fan of certain brands of Brazilian soap. So, I'm probably not a typical shopper. But there is a lot here for people with a broader shopping list. read more

i was pleasantly surprised when i walked into this little supermarket since the strip mall it's in is kinda sketch. seabra's interior is clean, organized and more spacious than you'd expect. they have a large selection of brazilian products as well as other grocery products. unless you're looking for something really specific, you could probably do your regular grocery shopping here...but i wouldn't. i would come back however for their produce and bakery goods. they have a decent selection of fruits and veggies at great prices- i've seen mangoes and avocados for a dollar or less (a steal!) and they have a nice bakery in back with fresh pastries and breads. read more

Just got a very good frozen octopus here and the price was good too ($7/Lb). They have all different sizes too from tiny ones to 6 Lb. Mine was 3.5 Lb. Octopus is very hard to find even at good fish markets, so this was a real find. I also saw some excellent looking short-ribs priced a lot cheaper than Whole Foods. On my list of things to try here. read more

To whom it may concern: I had a real bad experience with an employee at the Cranston, RI store. She was very rude to me when I inquired, about the price and availability of a fish product that was on sale a few weeks ago. She basically told me to purchase the product that day or it would not be available the next day for the same price, however she said it in a harsh and nasty tone, like buy it now or else. This was not the first time that I had a problem with this employee before, she always has been rude and constantly gives you more that you ask for , so you end paying more than you though you had to. For example, I day I asked for a pound of haddack, and she weighs up 1.40lbs, wraps it and doesn't say anything and hands it to you. After, the incident a few weeks ago, I complainted to the store manager, and I told him I wanted to purchase more fish but I didn't want to go to the counter because of her, so he promised to pick it up for me. The next night my wife and I ate that fish and we both got real sick from it, our skin turned red and we both got hot flashes and stomach cramps, what an experience that was. I think after the manager told her about my complaint, she tried to posion me. Is this anyway to run a business, to posion your customers, I don't think so.
