Previously, when we wanted to go to an Asian market we had been going to a market in Dallas, which is about an hour from our house. We didn't know what to expect because outside is misleading, but when you walk inside, they have a wide variety of Asian merchandise, my husband was able to find his favorite snacks, and I was able to find my favorite tea. We even found a few new things that we hadn't seen before. We definitely look forward to coming back here and shopping again. Oh and the prices were a little bit cheaper as well. Win win!

It's a small Asian market carrying impressive variety of Asian food & cooking utensils. They have chips, Asian instant noodles, rice paper, precooked frozen foods, jello in cute animal-themed containers, canned drinks (boba, Thai tea), & few pre-packaged bakery items. I was happy to find frozen seasoned bulgogi, galbi, & pork bellies, at $19.99 & 14.99 a box, a steal for the amount that you get, as they would likely cost $30ish plus tax at a restaurant. I got a package of 5 of Malaysian instant noodles for $4.99. Not 5 stars bc some of the frozen foods don't have prices, like the Korean bbq. The cashier was friendly & helpful to other customers who had questions.

I also bought a few lychees, which were plump and juicy, some mango ice cream, mango Lassi, paneer, and their fresh samosas. Great store to buy your Indian food staples! Also, where else can you buy $0.99 chai?! Nowhere! Come support your local shops! Friendly service, too. The only downside is that not every item had a price by it. You can ask the shop attendant and they will let you know.

It isn't a grocery store but more like a corner store to get your random spices you need. Not a whole lot of selection of veggies. At first I thought it was just another run of the mill Indo-Pak halal desi market. While they do have your typical Indian and Arab foods, they actually have a nice selection of East European, and Balkan items as well. Smoked goat and veal from Bosnia, Bulgarian and Russian sodas, frozen byrek from Albania, Macedonian and Turkish pickles/dips. That alone makes it worth a stop to see some staple foods from a cuisine that is underrepresented in the south. They also sell incense, perfumes, shisha tobacco, and Hindu and Islamic paraphernalia at a good price. You can't find enough here to fill your fridge, but there is enough the odd and obscure little treasures to find that make it worth a stop.

#24 of the year yaaz queen…read more This location has plenty of parking just keep an eye out on the cars turning in from the service road, they don't slow down. Similar to the other locations I will post that review below. I love this chain of super markets. Every time I step inside It takes me back to growing up in Mexico and hearing and smelling the nostalgic of my childhood. Probably my favorite thing is how they decorate everything inside. The fish department has a mural of the ocean with some fish. The juice bar has like a tiki bar vibe with the straw roof. The produce section has those fake trees and underneath it the fruit so it looks like it fell off the tree. The smell of freshly baked bread coming from the bakery is wonderful. The sound of the tortilla machine chirping away takes me back to when me and abuelita would go early in the morning to get fresh tortillas. Second I love the food court area, sometimes me and my parents will go on the weekends to get food there and we will sit down in those picnic tables and eat. Sometimes the little and simplest of things in life are the best. Pro tip, if you are making tamales or gorditas and need the corn dough to make them. The store sells that dough where they make the tortillas in house. Just tell them you wanna buy x pounds and they will ring you up. It is a bit more expensive compare to what they have in the freezer section but quality and freshness is way superior. Third is the butcher shop, you don't get this kind of service or variety from the big retail supermarkets. My parents use to go to fiesta or minyards when they were around but now they are closing more and more stores making them hard to come by. The closest Fiesta to us is in Arlington and there are more El ranchos and Michoacanas around so this is more convenient for us. The butcher shop has many different cuts of meats and many cuts are pre-marinated so it takes all the guess work out. There are certain meats that have to be cut but the staff is pretty happy to cut them to your specific liking. Sometimes I go in there and say "hey I am making xyz and I don't know that the cut of meat is, could you help me" and 99% of the time they know what I am talking about. If its a popular dish or if you can describe the type of animal meat it uses they will probably know. Fourth, I love coming here because I know I will find those Hispanic brands of food that cannot be found anywhere else. I love going to W.M but sometimes they don't have the Hispanic brands I need or sometimes they do have it but they only have the small cans and I need to Texas size cans lol. Another reason I love it here for the spice wall. Just like Bucees has the wall of Jerky, every el rancho has a spice wall (not a spice rack but a whole wall of spices). A lot of them have the spice printed in both English and Spanish, i always learn something new when I read the lables. They come in whole or grinded to a fine powder. Six reason I love this place (well mostly my parents love it), the produce. We are able to find some ethnic produce here fresher and sometimes cheaper compare to W.M  or targee. When its Christmas time this is the first place I go to get the ingredients to make Mexican punch. The lines on the weekends can be pretty long so be prepared for that. Lines on weekdays are not too bad. I have gotten my mom a birthday cake from here in the past and it was delicious. She loved how it was decorated and the lady at the counter was friendly when I asked for it to be double boxed.

It's an Arab grocery store that contains a variety of fresh Middle Eastern, Greek, Turkish and Eastern European products all squeezed into a very small space along with a restaurant! They have a bakery and to go deli items with Tabbouleh, Hummus, Stuffed Grape Leaves, and Baba Ghanouj, as well as specialties such as Chicken Shawarma, Kabob, Kibbeh and Falafel.I really loved the olive bar with its very reasonable prices. Of course there's a Halal meat market with goat, lamb and chicken butchered in convenient pieces for cooking and packaged ready to go. They even had bulk feta cheese here. The small seating area for the restaurant is cordoned off and your daily special or menu item is cooked fresh ready to go or eaten there. We bought olives and spinach pies from the bakery. The cross section of Indian and Middle Eastern food items was pretty unusual and definitely a good find. I was amazed by how much they were able to showcase in this place. It was so clean and well organized with a large inventory. International Food Land Store has very courteous people in every department and we will definitely go back.

The only issue- much of the Frozen produce and several aisles had no prices. I feel like I'm bothering somebody to ask them to price things- they only do one at a time but it's an entire wall of frozen vegetables that have no prices. You have to bring things to the front to get them scanned. And even when they tell you what the price is in the aisle after they've checked with the front, the cost changes when you go to the cash register. It's not that big a deal but it's something they could improve on. Very nice people and good customer service.

This place is located in Asian Times Square which I've never been to and embarrassingly didn't even know was there, it's a Plaza with Hong Kong market and the equivalent of a bizarre inside with a bunch of little shops offering different services and merchandise. The Plaza also has shops like Paris Baguette, 85° Bakery and several restaurants including an Asian food court which regrettably I did not check out before we left. The good news is I found the wrappers I was looking for and we bought some yummy Asian snacks while we were there as well, this Market has a large selection of Asian Foods, fresh meat and seafood. If you'd like Asian markets or you're looking for a specific Asian item that is difficult to find and if you just want to check out a really cool Market I would definitely recommend checking out Hong Kong market

I make beef jerky at home and need very thin, consistent slices of beef, and they're always happy to help when I ask. They do an excellent job and it makes a huge difference. Produce is fresh, and another big plus is that checkout lines are usually not long, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Absolutely worth the drive and easily one of my go-to Asian markets.
