It was so good last week, we came back again. The beer choices are very good and something we enjoy. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The bar and dining room areas are bright and pleasant.

Our friend picked up the food so I can't speak to the wait time so the rating is purely based on the food. The O.G. Sourdough Pizza ($21.50) + Vegan Cheese ($5): Charred Ezzo pepperoni, spicy red sauce, house blend cheese, basil, spicy honey, and ricotta. This was delicious! I loved the crispy crust and the well-balanced flavors. I can see why it's a fan favorite. Moonshot Sourdough Pizza ($23.50): Spicy Italian sausage, charred Ezzo pepperoni, fennel Tuscano salami, spicy red sauce, house blend cheese, shaved speck, and dried herb blend. This was good but didn't quite live up to the O.G. The flavors were a bit more homogenous. Deviled Eggs ($12): Came with 6 pickled eggs, hot pickle aioli, apricot mostarda, Creole crackers, and chives. I wasn't a fan of the pickled egg taste, but everything else about the dish was good.

I am not sure why south Austin has many breweries...they just do. I arrived early to a Yelp event and decided to explore what the breweries "to do" was all about. First stop, Pinthouse Brewing. This a gigantic space including a upstairs...cavernous with super high ceilings. It has an industrial look with a greenery twist. Pinthouse Brewing is known for its superior craft beer. Their Electric Jellyfish Hazy IPA appears to be a fan favorite. The brewery offers over 20 beers on tap, including seasonal and experimental brews. Pinthouse delivers beers for every beer palate - IPAs, stouts, or lighter ales. In full transparency, I'm not a beer connoisseur. Did I fall madly in love with Pinthouse beer. No. However, there was a constant, strong flow of folks coming into the brewery, which speaks for itself. Pinthouse also hosts a happy hour and offer stout cake. Did I have any stout cake? Nope...not that brave today but maybe in the future. In addition they host private events. Today, Communities in Schools was having a private team event, Overall, chill vibe.

Fun spot to hang out with friends! I like that they offer beer flights to try a few things in one visit. Old Beluga - Amber is a good one! The staff was kind and let us finish up even though they were closing. Pizza was good!

I had no idea that Pinthouse had Detroit style pizza at this location. I ordered the cheese pie and it was good. The sauce was a little spicy for my taste but I still very much enjoyed it. The staff was nice and helpful. I ordered using the QR code on the table. Drinks came right away! Plenty of seating inside. This place is big! It feels like a warehouse. I also had no trouble parking. There were a good amount of spots. The location is solid with easy access to 35.

Rating is a 4.5. I love the gluten free options! The Italian grinder is amazing. Definitely get it toasted. Large outdoor seating that is covered. Only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because some of our parties food came out and then almost 15 mins later the rest of the food came out.

Pinthouse Brewing is a massive space and very loud atmosphere. The Detroit-style pizza was doughy but still tasty, and the beer selection is plentiful. The chicken wings were very small but tasty. The service was less than friendly, but it's a fun spot if you're mainly going for the beer and don't mind the noise.

Pinthouse Brewing is everything you want in a local brewery--laid-back, welcoming, and consistently delicious. The food goes way beyond typical pub fare. Their pizzas are next-level (get the Armadillo if you like a little heat), and the beer cheese and pretzel combo is dangerously good. You can tell they put as much care into their food as they do their brews. Service is always solid, even when the place is packed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the beer menu, and quick to offer recommendations without being pushy. It never feels rushed, just easygoing and efficient. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a brewpub--lively but not chaotic, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that works whether you're flying solo with a pint or showing off Austin to out-of-towners. Between the great food, relaxed vibe, and killer beer lineup, Pinthouse always delivers.

If you've ever had an Electric Jellyfish, you know nothing compares to having a cold one on tap from the brewery itself. Whenever I'm craving a solid pizza and a Caesar salad, Pinthouse Pizza is my go-to. However, for those who don't know, Pinthouse Brewing is in a league on its own. At the other Pinthouses, you'll find a plethora of pizzas served New York style. At the Ben White location, you'll find a variety of food including sandwiches and unique Detroit styled pies. There's seating indoors, but most of their dining space is in a covered open air warehouse surrounding the brewery. For those who would like to see the brewery in depth, you can also schedule to take a tour. Drinks: The classic Electric Jellyfish lives here, but I think the other beers don't get enough attention. A close second would be the Training Bines. Food: I ordered the OG and was in love with it. It was spicy and sweet and the dollops of ricotta was the icing to it all. Speaking of... if you love rich chocolate, a must is the Chocolate Stout Cake.

Some places serve good food. Others serve good beer. Pinthouse punches you in the face with both and you thank them for it. Let's talk food first. The Moonshot pizza is dangerously good. That chewy, charred crust feels like it was kissed by fire gods. Toppings in perfect harmony. It's not reinventing the wheel, it is the damn wheel!!! Cajun wings come out piping hot, seasoned like someone in the back actually cares, and the Italian Grinder? A heavy hitter and oozing with sharp provolone, peppery meat, and zero regrets. But the secret weapon? The Scorpion Disco West Coast IPA. One sip and you're hooked, aroma bursting with strawberry, gooseberry, blueberry, papaya. It smells like a fruit stand on acid. The taste? Crisp, slightly sweet, just bitter enough to remind you it has fangs. You could pair it with anything or nothing at all. It's that good. 5 stars for knowing who they are and delivering it without pretense. Beer that slaps, food that sticks, and a vibe that doesn't need neon signs or fake hype. Pinthouse is the real deal.

Holy moly the pizza! So worth the trip to get here. I hadn't had their food before just the beer. This is now one of my fave places, the wings were good not mind blowing. The ranch is in house made and had a great flavor, the pizza is the winner, the sourdough, texture and being able to get all the great flavors in a bite I am hooked. The place itself is beautiful and pet friendly, I love all the plants and atmosphere. Staff are nice and everything is clean and bright.

Easily the flagship Pinthouse location, even if it is a bit inconvenient to access. It's huge, it's gorgeous, it's modern, with a sweeping glass wall behind the taps, showcasing the towering brewery tanks. There's an extremely large, shaded, wraparound patio that's dog friendly. Located right off the highway, you can tell they've tried to mitigate the road noise, but it's still much quieter inside, if that matters to you. Whereas most Pinthouse locations are breweries that happen to serve good food, this feels more like a legitimate restaurant that happens to have great beer. The menu is certainly "gastropuby" but everything on there is very thoughtfully crafted. I had the Carolina Porker, while the wife had the muffuletta. We frequent New Orleans quite a bit, and this muffuletta is on par with the best we've had. Still, it was overshadowed by how great the Carolina Porker was. Normally "all pork" dishes are super salty affairs, but they attained a great balance; the pickles not only cut the richness of the pork, but they add a surprising amount of texture. I noticed that the chips were almost completely unsalted, initially I was disappointed, but after eating the sandwich, I realized the last thing they needed was more salt. I'll agree with several other reviewers about the pretzel, the dipping sauces both tasted really off. We're excited to go back, there are a ton of other dishes we want to try (the hot chicken sandwich and SW Kale, chiefly). read more

Electric jellyfish is 10/10. Snacks are solid. The server with faded purple hair needlessly made me uncomfortable when I was ordering and then talked about me to her colleague as I was leaving the bar to head back to my table. I was polite and I wish that was reciprocated more. :( The rest of the staff were friendly, easy-going, and efficient. read more

I went to Pinthouse with some friends for a Sunday afternoon lunch and had a great time! We got there in time for brunch, it ends at 3pm, so I decided to get their Rodeo Bagel and a potato cake. Unfortunately, they were out of actual bagels so they gave me a bun instead but it was still quite good. The potato cake, however, was absolutely amazing. It was perfectly crispy and topped with flaky salt, I think I could've eaten five of them alone and been happy. My main complaint about the setup is the fact that a big portion of the tables will get wet. We went during a huge storm and barely got a table because everything was either taken or wet. There was also supposed to be live music but they couldn't play because the stage was wet. COVID Precautions: Masks are encouraged but not required. All employees were wearing masks though! read more

The boiled eggs are a must if you've never been here, definitely as a starter! The pizzas are always delicious and don't inflate in your stomach, that's because of the focaccia and sourdough DOUGH they use. Training bines is my favorite brew but don't get me started on their collabs with other local breweries, they always hit it out of the ballpark. Great staff that is very knowledgeable with the food and beer menu. Theres always seats available and plenty of breathing room with a great warehouse layout! The Ben white location is always my go to! read more

We frequent the Pinthouse on Burnet Road but diverted to this location to meet up with some friends. So glad we did. While different than the other locations, the food is really good. I swear they must put crack in that Mushroom Man pizza - we've been back at least three times! The pizza is technically Detroit style, for those playing the home game. Beer selection is good and considering this place is on the side of a freeway, the atmosphere is very inviting and clean. Love the patio. We'll be back. read more

The space in pinthouse brewing is nice. My husband and I have came here a handful of times and there was only one time we preferred not to sit in the outdoor-ish area when they had live music playing. The music was so loud, you couldn't hear anything else. Other than that, there is ample parking and the bathrooms are clean :) They have a good beer selection and out of all their beers, we really enjoy drinking their electric jellyfish (we love IPAs). As for food, we've only tried the pretzel and it's delicious. We do want to try their pizza and other items on the menu next time. read more

Love this brewery. Driven past here many times traveling from alvarado to Austin. Always been curious. Today we were pulling our Rv and needed a good spot for lunch that was dog friendly and had lots of room to park. This was the best stop. Loved the beer. Loved the salad and the sandwiches. This was our first time visiting Pinthouse Brewing, we went in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I was really excited to see what they had to offer since I've passed this particular location off the highway so many times. It's really big and nice once you walk in they have plenty of different types of seating areas which is nice. They had a pretty good crowd which is a good sign. You can scan a code on the table or order straight from the bar, we ordered from the bar. I tried the Real Feel IPA and a Lady Therese they were both perfect, taste was on point totally recommend. I need another Lady Therese soon! We had the pulled pork fries and the Italian Grinder sandwich. My fries were ok , could have been a little more flavorful. The sandwich was good, I really did enjoy the Hop Salt Chips! Nice & crispy! I can't wait to go back to try different items on the menu and drink more Pinthouse beer! More specific the Electric Jellyfish. Definitely going back and would totally recommend a visit. read more

Great pizza! The selection of beers, ciders, and wines are huge, but the menu is very hard to read. There is no descriptions of any of the drinks so you're completely guessing. The pear and caramelized onion pizza was definitely my favorite. The place is also very loud so it's pretty good for kids. read more

I literally inhaled the BBQ Pork sandwich. My bf and I stopped in here for some dinner and some beers. We usually go for electric jellyfish (a bit heavy but delicious!) If you like lighter beers, go for the Burro (comparable to a Dos Equis). My bf got his order before mine, and I waited about an hour before going to the counter to ask about it (I hate being that person) but they were super nice about it and bright mine out within 10 minutes!! read more

Not what I call a comfortable drinking atmosphere. Loud, the food was ok but not memorable and the beer selection is akin to a hipster hideaway in Portland. Nope I'm fine without heavy hopped IPA and man buns everywhere. I'm more of an ice house guy. read more

Pinthouse is one of my top five favorite breweries of all time. I am in love with their newest airport location. The space is beautiful. I love the indoor and outdoor dining space! Perfect for my pups to visit with me. The full restaurant menu is also exciting. Recently came here for Sunday brunch, which was amazing! Loved the gluten free breakfast sandwich! I want to love this place so bad! The food is the reason for the two stars. It's THAT bad. The beer is great and the customer service is amazing, but the menu and the food need soooo much help! Also, nobody and I mean nobody will ever say "I can't wait to get there and eat pickled shrimp". Please work on the menu because it's a great spot with great beer and staff. read more

First off, I love the original Pinthouse. I knew this was going to be a new concept that centers around the brewery and I think they nailed the ambiance and beer selection. I would absolutely stop by anytime for a beer. The reason for the 3 stars, the food. I wanted so badly to enjoy the food because who doesn't love a snack when enjoying a beer. We stopped for dinner so definitely looking for good food. The Buffalo chicken dip has potential, flavor is good.. but the chunks of chicken are difficult to eat in the dip. Shredded would be easier but no big deal, just wouldn't order again. The real issue is the vinegar overload in the salad and bbq sauce. I love vinaigrette but this one was too strong for me to finish. Same with the bbq sauce on the pork sandwich. The pork was fine. The bread was fine. The bacon was cold. Just overall super average food. Hopefully I just had a one-off experience. I'll be back to try again if not only for the beer. read more

Be careful what you wish for. I've always loved Pinthouse's ales, but the carbohydrate double whammy of beer and pizza left me fatter and hoping for some protein on the menu. Pinthouse Brewing addresses this lack of protein on the menu, but every entree I've ever had at the new location has been underwhelming and overpriced. The sliders I had recently were the worst sliders I've ever had for more than I've ever paid for sliders. Mostly bun, which was mostly stale, a smattering of pulled pork and three mediocre sauces. An immediate overhaul of the menu would be welcomed. Something closer to what Little Darlin' does, which is a creative spin on traditional bar food with fresh ingredients and creativity. The beer selection at this location is the best of all four, but this menu needs to go. read more

Skip the brewery and stick to the pizza. The food is terrible. Ordered Chex mix and not sure what it is but plain Chex mix would be 300% better. Ordered pork sliders and not sure if it's pork or tuna. Probably because it's 95% cold bread, 4% meat product and 1% pickle. Plus side is the pickle was great and the sauces were a nice variety. Chips were also bagged plain kettle chips I assume so at least they were consistent. Staff also didn't care at all when I stated the food was terrible as they threw away the remaining inedible food At least the beer is tasty as usual Update - Forget the last part, the manager came out based on my feedback. Addressed the issue, asked for feedback and comp'd the food. Nice that they are trying . read more

This place was the home to a dance hall many miss. However, do not visit. Some good, some not so good. First off, the location is beautiful. Plenty of parking and great space, mostly outdoors. Full breadth of awesome Pinthouse beers available, even to-go. But if you're looking to get some of their famous pizza with your beer, you will be sorely disappointed like we were. Partly user-error on our part but confused why they wouldn't serve pizza at their location? The food they have is ok, but it wouldn't bring me back. Next time I'll go to my regular Pinthouse spot for a fix, probably won't return here read more

Came here on Wednesday evening for a travia night (Dazed and Confused). Very pretty & I love the outside patio the decore is very modern and nice! The service was amazing we had a blast!! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the wine options- I'm not a beer drinker. So I wished that they had a nice selection of wine & they didn't. read more

Pinthouse has nailed the pandemic-safety system! When you walk up, they have you sanitize, explain the rules (including how to properly wear a mask), and take you to a table with a touchless ordering system. I cannot believe they were able to open in the middle of stage-5 risk, but they've done it! The snacks were fantastic and the chicken and brie sando was perfect for a chilly afternoon. I sat in the back of the outdoor area with a book for a couple of hours whilst snacking on hummus and sipping Electric Jellyfish. One day I will stray from the EJ and try some of the other beers! read more

Exotic, industrial atmosphere in the middle of Montopolis, a neat reprieve from the heat! They have a good selection of brews that rotate regularly. From the hostess to the waiters to the manager everyone was super attentive and on top of their game. You can't go wrong with anything from the bar. I have never been a fan of Negronis but the one at Sammie's changed my life! I order them everywhere I go now searching for that Sammie's Negroni high but nothing comes close to it. There were so many new dishes that caught my eye, but I immediately gravitated toward the Creamy Crab Curry and it was absolutely the right choice. The curry was rich, creamy and packed with flavor while the fried soft-shell crab was perfectly cooked and added a great texture to the dish. Honestly, it's the kind of meal I could see myself ordering every week. My partner went with the Lost Recipe, which looked just as delicious. You can never really go wrong with fried chicken, and this version certainly didn't disappoint. The service was equally impressive. Our server was friendly, attentive and checked in regularly throughout the meal. She even brought us a complimentary crab pastry to try, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. One thing to note this place gets busy, especially during lunch so plan accordingly. That said, the food and service are well worth it and the menu is reasonably priced. Kiin Di has successfully made the jump from food truck to full-service restaurant and it's definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation.

this place seems to be a hip and popular spot in downtown austin. across the river side…read more it was pretty packed with music in the background. just have a hip and young vibe spot for date night or gatherings of young crowd. i mean 20-30 something young not high school kids young.... anyways, i actually didn't know i order the thai me down app.. i thought i was getting some sort of chicken karage. instead, its chicken taco.. pretty good and 10 bucks is reasonable. alot of meat. meal by itself really. the khao soi for some reason gave me heartburn. perhaps the soup is just too flavorful. it was thick curry broth. there was a big piece of chicken thigh. i wish there was more egg noodle and less chicken.. i want more noodle less meat. or perhaps meat is cut up into smaller pieces to eat. and add a couple qual eggs.. anyways, i end up eating just too much chicken... the initial app had a huge piece of chicken. just bad ordering on my part. total was 40 + 7 tip. had a beer as well for $6 and rice was $3 ate the rice with the chicken and soup as i finish the noodle pretty quickly like a couple slurps. khao soi was 18 bucks.. yupe, 50 bucks total... jeez -1 star i came for the khao soi and it was just not enough noodles. i think also quite expensive.. i think this is premium for being more of a hip restaurant and location. i would love to find a street hawker selling it like on khaosan for 3 bucks... i should mention, really really friend staff and service. +1 star anyways, if you miss the khao soi in bkk, this is probably the high end version....

I recently attended a Saturday morning kickboxing workout event that was held in conjunction with Pinthouse Brewing Company. The event took place in their outdoor space, and it was an awesome way to start the day! After the workout, we headed inside to check out what Pinthouse Brewing had to offer. The vibe inside was fantastic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed. Service was prompt, which was perfect after a tough workout! The beers were excellent too - each one had unique flavors, and you could tell they really put thought into their craft. Pinthouse Brewing is a top-notch spot with a fantastic vibe. The OG Sourdough Pizza was amazing (I was skeptical at first with how deep dish the pizza was) - but flavorful and definitely a standout!! The hummus board was packed with unique veggies, and totally worth it in my perspective. My partner loved the hot chicken sandwich, which was also on point. The shuffleboard added an extra layer of fun, and there's plenty of parking. Of course, the beers were the highlight - Pinehouse never disappoints, and I've never had a bad brew here.
