Heather was the subcontractor for kitchen cabinets who the contractor for our kitchen renovation,…read moreMike Kilby of Madison Creek Homes, always uses for cabinets. His whole team of subcontractors were amazing--professional, timely, and completely behind all their work. But Heather was the star! She was a pleasure to work with, and willing to go wherever I wanted with design and materials choices, until I was completely happy. She is a talented designer, and I learned a great deal from working with her. She inspected every aspect of our cabinets, and had anything that wasn't completely as designed redone until all was perfect. I love the end results of our renovation, and will always think of Heather fondly as I enjoy using my kitchen.

BEST PRICE, BEST SERVICE, AMAZING RESULTS! Heather and all of her subs (installers and granite…read moresubs) were true professionals: they did what they said they would do, did it on-time, didn't mess up anything else, communicated well with us, worked MANY extra hours to correct problems that were not their fault, and the price was better than the other 3 cabinet/counter companies we got quotes from. Frankly, working with her again is a no-brainer for us and we sing her praises to all of our friends and neighbors now. If you've done any sort of home renovations you've probably had good contractors and bad. On our most recent 1600sf addition we had a lot of mediocre work from our GC and his subs and they required LOTS of oversight. Heather's team, by contrast, gave us white glove service at a price that was a true bargain for the quality of work delivered. She and her team gave us such good value that we're looking around our house for other things to have them build (built-in buffet for dining room, wine cabinets, etc). I wish all home renovation trades-people were this good. - Pete and Krista Coleton

These guys are total amateurs and should not be in business. My mother was fixing up her house to…read moreput it on the market and went to Crystal to get new granite countertops for her kitchen. She spent almost $3,000 on the granite and install and when they put the granite in there was a half inch between the cabinets and the countertops. The installer pressured my mother, who is a widower, saying everything won't be fine and nobody would notice the shins and glue below the counters. I went over one day to check out the work and immediately noticed what a poor job they did and I told my mom that nobody would buy the house until the work was finished. I called the owners and one of them met us at the house to review the work. He said that this was normal and he's done hundreds of installs like this. He said WE should go to Lowe's to pick up a cheap piece of vinyl that we can glue to cover this defect! I told the owner he should be embarrassed to leave a job like this and that they aren't craftsman but amateurs. He said he isn't a carpenter and that it's not their job to level the countertop. Excuse me, but they have an obligation to do a quality job and if there are additional costs needed to make a nice final product then they should have notified my mom at the time of install! My mom had to hire someone else to come out and do the correct finishing work. Save yourself the headache and go with a reputable company instead of Crystal!

Excellent service. They came out for a free estimate and…read morebrought samples of the granite to match with my cabinets. Once I chose the granite, they got us right on the schedule for install. SO happy with the finished product. The granite is beautiful. Reasonably priced, Excellent service, family owned, and very thorough & professional. *I live in Warrenton and it was nice that they were able to travel to take care of us!

We had our bathroom remodeled and had nothing but issues from the start to include bathtub ruined,…read morebad fans, mirrors and they had to come and paint two times since it bubbled. It has bubbled again and for the past two hours I have had to scrape the walls and will need to prime and paint these again. I am certain that you painted without primer and not the proper paint. Now the extra coats and labor I have to do. I hope that the drywall was installed properly since nothing else was. Honestly for the cost it was not worth it. It was crap workmanship for the beginning and the tub is still not finished properly since you scrapped it and they came several times to fix this. The amount of time and energy I am putting into fix your mistakes is ridiculous

Kamal and his crew of designers, project managers, and renovation specialists are professional, and efficient. From the start of each project to the end the process of working with VKB included great attention to detail, excellent communication, and reliable work. Additionally, the showrooms have a wide variety of tile, and cabinet styles of excellent quality and value. I recommend VKB to anyone planning a small or ambitious home renovation project.

So first let me say make an appointment if you want to get assistance with your project. This place…read morewhile a showroom isn't like your typical store that associates are just waiting for you to come in. I had seen some stuff online via Ferguson's website, but I wanted to actually chat with a person in real life about my proposed project so in that way I could walk through what I was looking for and wanted. We worked with Darin who was fantastic btw! My husband and I sort of went through with what I was looking for which included plumbing fixatures for two bathrooms and a chandelier for our foyer. He was great gave us different options at different price points also he helped figure out what I was trying to explain (I told him I don't know all of the technical names of the things, but he was able to decipher) and help us think through what we needed. Darin super knowledgeable! Now a few other points of advice if you are a first timer, pictures of what you want to do helpful even if they are inspo photos, if you've got space measurements even better. Also, if you are thinking of changing out plumbing perhaps having your preferred plumber come out to give you an idea of materials required for your project (I opted to do it in reverse).

Returned two pulls. The associate told me they'd ship together but instead they shipped separately…read more I paid $30 for the pulls and only got $6 back. Seriously??? Truth is you can buy everything Ferguson carries from Home Depot online--including the same Amerock pulls--get a military discount, and return items in-store WITHOUT paying shipping fees. From now on, I'd only step into Ferguson for ideas and then purchase at Home Depot. HOME DEPOT WINS!
