What started out as a fairly decent experience (they have a decent showroom with nice examples) went progressively downhill. Our initial visit to their showroom in Chantilly was met promptly by one of their designers, however, first impression was that he was very new to the business, but seemed to know some of the products they were representing. Before leaving, we scheduled an in-home visit for him to come look at the proposed bathroom and kitchen renovations about a week later. I had not heard back from him promptly to confirm the appointment, and therefore I reached out to his manager (who also did not have the courtesy to directly respond to me). But apparently my message made its way to the designer, who I'm pretty certain completely forgot about the appointment he scheduled. Following the home visit, we were told that 3D renderings would be prepared, and that a follow-up appointment would be scheduled for us to come into their showroom again to discuss. Perhaps one of the few positives was that the the designer sent me a message a few days later to day his renderings were done, and invited my wife and I to come back into the showroom, but we couldn't visit until a week later due to my schedule. As soon as we arrived on our scheduled follow-up visit, one of the other Chantilly store representatives seemed surprised that we were there to meet with the designer, saying that he was working at their Fairfax store that day. UNBELIEVABLE! Nevertheless, he got in touch with the designer, who finally made his way out to the Chantilly store over 30 minutes late!! But perhaps the worst part of the meeting was despite having plenty of time to prepare decent 3D renderings, he only really had one prepared (he promised at least a couple of different ones), and the renderings were terrible quality and something a child would develop. Despite all of this, we were still willing to talk to him and discuss options. The latest update was that he would prepare additional renderings, and said he would talk to his manager about final estimated costs. At this point (over a week later), we still haven't heard back from him, so obviously they don't consider us a serious customer. What a disappointing waste of nearly 3 weeks time, and even more disappointing after seeing other positive reviews; I just we just weren't lucky. That said, I have had a positive experience with another renovation company, and will go with their service instead; others had much better estimated pricing anyway. I'm glad I talked to other companies out of due diligence.

It started off well, we were installing a kitchen through IKEA, Milos came out to the house and…read moreexplained the whole procedure, he was very nice and went through everything with me. He told us he'd have the plans written up by the following Monday. That was 5/6. We finally got the plans on the 5/17. They said they were booked out and the soonest we could schedule the install would be the end of July, that seemed like a really long time and we had to push back our floor install and painting so we wouldn't be too log without a kitchen. The first day of the install they sent out a crew of 4, they did a good job and moved quickly, so quickly in fact that the crew manager who dropped them Off and left half way through was late coming back to pick them up so they had to hang out on our front stoop for about an hour. The second day crew was 2 guys, they lost the door knobs to a cabinet and never replaced the so we have to now go back to Ikea and purchase 2 more knobs. They also told my husband they would put an elbow in vent above the stove to ensure it vented properly to the microwave, he agreed to pay an extra $40 for them to do that when they came back after the counters were installed. The third crew came back after the counters and immediately started arguing what they would and wouldn't reinstall, they called to say we never asked for the reinstall (which we had with Milos and the 2nd crew lead) a gentleman from Zee Dee called and to let me know they wouldn't be setting up our appliances and got annoyed with me when I started asking questions he started snapping at me and pushing me off the phone. I asked for his name and he hung up on me. When I called back or went straight to voicemail. His cell phone is (571) 332-1160. The 3rd install took 2 days after the 2nd day my husband called to say the tore the brand new vinyl flooring when they put in the stove, scratched the brand new sink faucet when installing, did not install the elbow for the joint and used about a roll of tape to attach it, it looks horrible! And we're still missing the door knobs for the cabinet. No one checked in with us after the job, I emailed Milos and still have no response, I emailed the general email account with no response so I am now posting on review sites hoping to get a call back, email whatever to get these things fixed! This company has been a continual disappointment…read more We started the kitchen remodel process with a budget of $50,000 in January 2021. The design team was fantastic, and got us what we wanted within budget. That's where the good part ended. We waited 12 weeks for cabinets to arrive, and had been told prior to contract signing that the project with full demo, gut, new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash would finish in 5 weeks. We were told that the company was careful and would not demo the kitchen until all supplies were available. After 1 week of demo, we were told that the wrong sink base was sent, and we were on hold until the cabinet manufacturer sent a new sink base. That led to a 6 week hold on our project, with no kitchen for our family. Install was a nightmare. The team cut the crown molding upside down, built a new soffet that was visually out of true, had to re-tile the backsplash for it being initially installed crooked, cut the sink front with cut lines past 90 degrees, and could not install the Le Mans cabinet pullout correctly without me showing them the installation .pdf on the manufacturer website. The installer told us it would rub, and that was the "best he could do". They drug the upper cabinets across a dirty floor covered in drywall plaster and scratched the cabinet bottoms, which we had paid extra to be painted. Nicely Done had to call out a furniture restoration company and replace several cabinets which were beyond repair. Overall the five week project took 11+ weeks to complete. I'm writing this review because we called them back to fix the grout line between the countertop and backsplash, which cracked after 4 months. The same install team showed up and did a poor job of cleaning the old grout, and began using clear silicone instead of the color matched silicone. I'd rather go to Home Depot myself and do the job correctly than deal with them again. I'm done with the laziness of the project managers and install team. I asked point blank at the final walkthrough if we didn't pay enough money to get a better quality product. For $50K, this company leaves a lot to be desired. There's continually a polite excuse, but at the end of the day, they are happy to take your money and do a poor job. Look elsewhere for your remodel needs.

The project started out real great with the Designer. Chris was our designer and he listened to…read moreeverything we wanted in the design and even helped us put things in the design we didn't think of. I would have Chris design my kitchen again. When the project start we were really happy about the way it was progress. That all came to a halt when we saw how the crew did the electrical work. When all was said and down the electrical stills needs to be redone to make our wall look more pleasing. It took way to long for the individual to rewire the electrical switches. The plumping was also a nightmare. The sink flood 3 times before a master plumber came in and fixed it. He was able to look under the sink and tell what needed to be done. The sink backing up caused water damage to my basement ceiling. The workers also put paper and blue tape on my wooden floors and when they remover the tape it varnish came off with some of the tape. They tried to fix it but my floor looks terrible. Also the crew did not know how to put the transition on the floor between the living room and kitchen. The way they installed it left it a tripping hazard. The project started on 7 Sept and it was finally completed 7 Dec. With all the problems we had with the crew every time I spoke with the project manager I would hear that is with in code and how we do things. I got very tired of hearing that and asked the project manager for the phone number to his supervisor and was told that he doesn't have a supervisor he was the supervisor. Needless to say I would never have this company back in my house for any things else.

Jordan figured out a perfect configuration to maximize both the space and storage. He recommended Signature cabinets. We purchased the appliances and fixtures. Everything was installed by an excellent independent contractor, recommended by Jordan, who did all the work expect for that needing special licenses. He subcontracted that work. We've done several renovations in the last year (old house) and working with Jordan has far surpassed all our other experiences, both in terms of his knowledge and communication. He listened to our needs and ideas, he was candid about what would work and not work, and he immediately responded to any questions/concerns. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend working with him.

I walked into their Alexandria location mid June 2020 to discuss a kitchen remodel. I handed the…read moredesigner some papers that provided details of what I wanted. I requested that the entire kitchen design for the above cabinets remain the same measurements as I currently had. However, I wanted a lazy Susan in the corner unit below, and that meant changing the measurements of some of the bottom cabinets to fit it. I knew what cabinets I wanted. I knew what color theme I wanted. I picked out the color of the cabinets quickly. However, the whole design process from start to finish took 10 weeks. The designer told me he was very busy. I just needed to select the tiles for the floor and the backsplash. Once I left the designer a message that if I didn't meet him that weekend to nail down the tile selection, then I needed to cancel the entire job, he became available to meet with me to look at tiles together. I wanted the work to be done in November so it would be finished for the holidays. The crew was terrific. They were skilled. They were polite. They were very patient with me. I was working from home daily. So, I was always available to ask questions and oversee their work. A few issues came up that I believe was the fault of lack of detail during the design process. The top corner cabinet didn't come with shelves as I requested, but with a rotating round shelving unit. The cabinet above the sink was 3" shorter than my directions in writing that I handed the designer. So, these items had to be re-ordered and didn't come in until early January. Each time I tried to call and email the designer to ask him about these mistakes, he didn't respond. I worked with Luisa, the project manager. While she was never on site during the renovation, she always took my calls or called me back quickly (the same as emails). Frankly, I think Luisa should have been the designer for me and worked with me throughout the entire process. I don't think it was effective to have one "designer" come to my house twice and be available to meet me in the store to later hand it all over to the project manager. I probably feel this way because I didn't really need real design help. I knew what design I wanted from the start. I just needed advice to help me pick out the tiles.
