Taking my oldest daughter on the hunt for our fist perfect Christmas tree! My wife and little one are trailing behind.

This place was a drive for us but fun and worth it. This was the first time taking my wife and two little girls to pick and cut our own first live Christmas tree. I would come here again. They have preselected trees for sale with prices clearly marked. They'll help you load if you want as well. Had a blast with my girls. Will be back next year!

First time here and we were very happy with our visit. We were there only for about an hour but it was hot and so we let our boys choice 2 activities, they picked the train ride ($2/2 tickets each) for their 1st choice. It was a pretty decent ride and they really enjoyed and wanted to go again! The 2nd thing they picked were the Duck Races (Free) they spent most of their time here and my husband and I joined in the fun. We picked out 2 large pumpkin, 3 medium size and a bag of small gourds for $35. They have great prices and lots of fun activities that we will definitely make time for next time and hopefully a cooler day or time of day. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to our family.

Such a fun day! We made so many great memories here and will definitely be back. Bought our tree the day after Thanksgiving and it lasted until well after New Years without losing very many needles at all. My kiddos have lots of allergies and the locally grown tree worked out great for us. Read my full review and see lots of pics at www dot adventures in San Antonio dot com

I was in dire need of a Christmas Tree when I loaded the whole family up and set out for Pipe Creek Christmas Tree Farm. I had heard such good things about it so we made it a family day trip driving over 57 miles to get there and pick out the perfect tree for our family. We checked the days and hours and seen that it was open until 6pm today. We made sure to turn on Christmas music and sing along with the kids while we drove over the creek and through the hills. Once we arrived we drove up to the gate and seen the gate was shut. I asked the guy I seen standing there and he said they were closed for the season. We looked out through the trees and seen some that would have been sufficient for our family but he said they were for regrowth. They should update their website saying they are closed for the season before people drive from so far away to get a tree for their family. Out of trees and it is only December 8th.

    Nice photo op haha

This our first time coming here (so I thought), and it was great! The drive from San Antonio is very pretty, especially in late November. It took us about 45 minutes from the northwest side of SA. The place is tucked in off the main road down a dirt road. Once we pulled up, there were plenty of places to park (apparently this isn't the case if you go during busy times). The prices are clearly marked and the owner (very nice) will explain to you the process. He gave us a handsaw and a measuring pole and we were off! There were many trees to choose from in this plot of land. We saw trees ranging from 3ft tall, all the way up to around 15-16ft. Note: there is a 4 ft. Minimum. There were 2 or 3 different kinds of trees to choose from. Once you find your tree, you saw it off and drag it to the front. You'll be met with an employee (in our case it was the owners son, again very nice!). He puts the tree in a shaking machine and measures it. He then wraps it in a mesh net and not only carries it to your vehicle, but ties it to the top! Need not to worry about taking a truck as we were fine in a Kia Soul. We walked back over to the front and payed (credit card). The owner gave us an instruction sheet and sent us on our way. This farm was a very pleasant experience and we (wife and I) will be back next year. Apparently I have been before.....my mom used to bring us when I was about 3 or 4! (I'm 24) I highly recommend it, as the trees are beautiful and born in Texas. They also have very nice Frasier Furs, which are awesome trees, but are grown up North, not from Texas. It's all personal preference on what you want. Prices are fair, $6.50 per foot, and the firs I believe are around $60. These trees are much fresher than the trees your going to get at the supermarket. 5 stars from me

Took the kids to the Halloween pumpkin patch. Very nice time. Hay and tractor rides, pumpkin & face painting. Will definitely return.

Great for families. Hay ride, feed some farm animals, paint a pumpkin, roast some marshmallows, and take some pictures.

No trees.. should update the website with that info. Friendly and safe, just a long way to drive for nothing. Update the website.

Ask the Community - Pipe Creek Christmas Tree Farm

Do they paint the trees there? We went to a place in North Carolina and they were all spray painted

NO, we NEVER paint our Christmas trees!

Are reservations needed due to covid?

Nope! It's outdoors so you can swing on by. Enter at your own risk 😷

What type of saw do they provide? We want to do this but I don't know if we can handle cutting a tree down by hand! Lol

It was definitely a struggle to cut the tree down. The saw was a more jagged teeth saw. It is Hand-held old fashion saw. It will be a fun challenge for sure.

    Do they allow pets?

Not sure, I cannot recall seeing any pets when I visited. You can call and I'm sure they'll be able to answer your questions. I called to very if they supplied ropes etc. it didn't take long for them to answer my phone call.

Customer service lights were off well before closing time, so I walked in panicking trying to return blinds that aren't even a week into me buying them. My schedule is tight and I always come back for what I need, just didn't want to miss my timeline with the return policy. I don't mean to shame people but it would have been gentle if the other two employees standing in that direct area would have helped. I appreciate customer service. Reyna was quick, took us all but 3 minutes and she did all with genuine kindness and professionalism. My only reason to leave this review is to also point out this was my second time returning blinds. The first time, both times the products unopened, the girls were younger and took so much longer taking care of me and other customers middle of the day. Once taken care of, it was mostly waiting for them to prompt me next on the computer while they texted and talked about their next date while on their phones. I hate to be a Karen. But give your better employees some credit. Weed out the youngins who can't handle it.

There weren't many staff members in the area I was in to ask for help, but eventually, we bumped into Axel. He was so helpful, even though he was from another department in the store, and was thankful that he helped instead of saying no or finding us someone else which would then have us wait. Great customer service. After searching on the computer with us for the appliances, we had to return with measurements to make sure of what we wanted to purchase. So we had to end up leaving and coming back. When we got back, it seemed busier, but there were only two customers ahead of us waiting for assistance. We shopped in the meantime and picked up a few other things. Let me say Will made this process with appliances easy to navigate and made selecting just what we needed such a smooth transaction, and we also got to save by bundling with the purchase There was no long line for checkout, and I also received assistance. The staff was helpful during this entire process at this location. The pathway going into the store was completely blocked by someone who was restocking. He could have angled the pallet he was stocking from, but he had it completely blocking anyone from going through. In a previous visit, I was looking for something in the garden center and couldn't find it. When I asked for help, the worker treated me like I was stupid cause I did t know where it was.
