Unfortunately, we were never greeted or given any guidance upon arrival. When we saw a buffalo near the entrance, we calmly walked over just to say hi -- as one might expect at a petting zoo. A man, who I believe was the owner, suddenly yelled at us to back away. We returned to our car, unsure of what we had done wrong. He then approached us again and aggressively asked what we wanted. When we asked about the tour and prices, he continued to scold us for going near the animals, despite the fact that this is advertised as a petting zoo. The tone and hostility were completely uncalled for. As we were about to leave, we paused briefly to look at the camels and take a quick picture -- only to have him run up and yell at us again, demanding that we get off the property. We left feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and honestly shocked at how poorly we were treated. It was a complete waste of time and left a very negative impression. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly, family-oriented experience.

Have them a ring and set up an appointment. My kids were just giddy with joy. They got to feed and pet the goats. They got to ride the camels and then relax with the kangaroos. It truly was a lovely experience and they were so patient with the kiddos and the oddly specific questions that my son asked. They provided a bunch of random facts that the children just loved. They hung on their every word. Altogether we spent a little over an hour here and it was all worth it. At 20 bucks a head it was a reasonable price for a great memory. I was pretty disappointed in this pumpkin patch. Visited today and was expecting it to be a lot better and a lot cheaper. I probably shouldn't have such high hopes. The parking is such a pain since it's right on the access road, I can only imagine how many accidents there might be since this location is new to everyone. We waited in the line for 20 minutes to enter (got there at 12PM on Sunday when it opened). It was pretty busy to say the least and it was the smallest pumpkin patch area ever. For as much as they have to offer, it would've been a lot better if they had expanded. It was pretty busy and hard to move around without bumping people or cutting in front of people who were waiting in the lines. The admission was $5 per person, kiddos are free under 16 years (which is a huge bonus). But once you get inside, be prepared to spend waaaay more than just $5. Each activity costs so much tickets (1 ticket = $1). The cow train was 3 tickets, hayride was 3 tickets, petting zoo was 3 tickets, the moonbounce was 3 tickets, riding the pony was 5 tickets, bouncing on this insane jumping machine was 5 tickets. Overall, A LOT of money can just be blown out the window from this place. It was nice, but it's unlikely I would ever go back. The people working at the entrance and at the food concessions were pretty grumpy too, not happy as I expected them to be. The area I really enjoyed was the actual pumpkin patch area, it was great to take photos and A LOT of pumpkins to choose from. The moonbounces were freaking crazy, my son got on the bottom of a bunch of kids and were trampling him, thankfully I was there to get him out but it would've been good to have people monitoring the moonbounces or at least make the parents supervise their children. I definitely wouldn't go back to this pumpkin patch and I would probably not recommend it to people. It might be because I visited South Texas Maize and had such a great time. The kids were able to pet and feed the farm animals, play on the playground (they loved the swing carousel), launch potatoes in the potato launchers, go on a tractor pulled hay ride and the highlight was the pony rides. FYI: you need to supply your own potatoes, carrots and apples to feed the animals. All though the weather was hot; Julie provided us with a generator to run an industrial fan at our assigned pavilion. We were able to host a party for 50+ adults and children at an affordable price. If you are looking for a unique experience and venue for a party, I would recommend Owl Creek Farms (ask for Julie, she is very responsive).
