It was truly one of the highlights of my trip and I would highly recommend visiting to anyone in the area, and I hope to go again in the future! The parking nearby was a short walk but nothing crazy, and once we got to the Market it was shaded very well and had such a variety of stands both inside and outside of the buildings which I loved. It was a little hot outside so it was nice to be able to rotate between both areas. There was also such a great mix of stores, restaurants, snack stands, and artisans and crafts throughout. We grabbed some aguas frescas to sip on while we explored and they were delicious and a great price for how big they were. We had a big breakfast but it would be nice to try some of the many lunch spots they had throughout the market. The stores had everything but I loved the amount of talavera pottery to choose from and stocked up as much as my suitcase would allow. Prices are super reasonable as well considering these are handmade artisan pieces. I use my tazas everyday and they are the best coffee cups I have ever had. The merchants are super friendly and helpful as well. Everyone was very welcoming and made it a great experience. I hope to be back in the future!

There were food, drink, and craft vendors selling in the outdoor market which made the ambiance very lively but not too crowded, as well as live music. Unfortunately, the vendors' food was underwhelming and expensive. I was coming from California and was excited to compare Mexican street food in Texas, but the options were very bland. Esquites - $12, 5 street tacos - $18, Chicken Gorditas -$11, Agua Fresca -$10 I did enjoy looking inside the markets (don't forget there are 2 different buildings for you to do your shopping). You can find some inexpensive souvenirs mixed in with some of higher price points.

They had…read morea special edition of the Pop Up a few weeks ago which encouraged visitors to purchase holiday gifts for their loved ones, while supporting small local businesses. They had all types of vendors like women's clothing, CBD products, handmade jewelry, tea products, coffee, and much more! My favorite by far was That Cookie Tho. They have amazing and very unique cookies! My favorite (can't remember the name) was a cookie made with chocolate, nutella and a Ferrero Rocher on top of it.

There a variety of artisan goods such as hand-designed print cards, vintage clothing, custom teas, and botanical medicinals. There were even stands selling snacks such as kettle corn, rum cake (YUM), and agua fresca. Of course, I always very much enjoy the perk of checking in as Yelp Elite, which was a delicious mocktail from Pouring Events. The apple cider was amazing!! Thanks to the Yelp team for planning this. No need to bring your own bags as the farmer's have plenty of plastic for you. Usually everything gets started at 8am sharp, although I have had to defer to waiting for set up just a few times. Friday is a perfect day to pick up farm fresh produce, what a way to start a weekend or get ready to entertain hungry friends. Look for the yellow wooden sign for the somewhat hidden turn in.

Alamo Heights Farmers Market is conveniently located in The Quarry parking lot near Gold's Gym. This farmers market is not as big as other ones in the city but it has a lot of good options; plants, grass-fed beef, honey, aguas frescas, organic health products and much more! The best find during our first visit here was a Brazilian baker which was selling delicious brazilian baked goods. We decided to order two of his savory options; Pao de Queijo and Coxinha. The Pao de Queijo was so soft and delicious. The Coxinha was filled with shredded chicken and cheese, which made it the perfect breakfast bite. We will definitely be coming back!

Today was a stifling day and there just didn't seem to be enough shade. Only about 3 tables had full shade and they were already full. I recommend they get more shade coverage. Whenever they have a busy night, I imagine you may need to bring your own lawn chairs. They were building a stage, I assume for music, so that's neat. They did have loud music playing anything from classic rock to country which was a nice mix. I love the concept of reusing an unused space and the openness. They just need their draft beers fixed (maybe add more craft), more shade, and open the food trucks the whole time (they closed 3-5p when we were there). But I like it! Unique for Seguin.
