Replaced one pipe and a couple of brackets and clamps. My parents had Doug do the repair due to the water was turned off to stop the leaking in the house. After talking talking to my parents, by now the work had been completed. I called a couple other plumbers to find out there cost which was about half of what Doug charged. I called Doug to question the amount he charged my parents and to get a itemized bill. Doug became very defensive extremely rude to me, after a couple questions and letting him know I felt this was border line elder abuse he threw out a F bomb at me and hung up. Stay away from this company way to expensive and very unprofessional.

Add $185 and $46 for labor and the total was $309. Okay, you've got biz expenses like insurance and all that, I get it. And you were here while I was in Dallas, so thanks for that. But when I arrived a week later on 9/6 and flushed it, it didn't turn off before the water level reached the overflow (which thankfully worked), so it ran and ran and ran. I called and asked for an adjustment. They said it worked when their guy left and the work had a warranty and they'd come fix it. I said Too late, I already fixed it (bent the float arm). So, to me, the only right answer in this kind of mistake is, "Wow, sorry to hear that, no idea how that could have happened, how can we make it right?" And I'd have suggested give my dad SOME amount of refund. I don't even much care how much, $10, $20, just make an effort, you know? But no. No adjustment. Empower your receptionist to offer SOMEthing. So, thumbs-up for a having a warranty, but thumbs-down for not fessing up to your mistake.
