Lavender lemonade - very refreshing on a hot summer afternoon! Don't get thrown off by the lavender name. It's very light in its aroma. Steak salad - WOW! Even the visual presentation is easily a 10/10! And first bites? Omg. Whatever I imagined as best case scenario given how it looks times 10! The beef is moist, tender, extremely flavorful. The onions add that extra dimension of a flavor package and I appreciate how the dressing came on the side so I can manage how much to not have a dressing shower to contend with. The beef was SO good that I ended up having all of it on its own. It's too good to contend with diluting it with other flavors or textures. Best salad I've had in a long while and I've been on a salad kick lately. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the server was friendly but only moderately attentive. Overall the restaurant might have been a 3.5-4 and I only know what I've tried but given this first experience this place gets a big 5! read more

We had one night in Mt Shasta on our way to Yosemite. Stayed at a boutique hotel and were looking for a close restaurant to walk to in the 105º heat. Pipeline came with good reviews, so we gave it a try. Had the choice of sitting at a center bar or outside. We chose the bar. It was actually quite nice. We were greeted by our friendly server, Cammy and she gave us some recommendations. We opted to share the Lamb Burger and Pear Salad. Both were excellent. The Lamb Burger on its own would have been amazing, but it kind of paled next to the Pear Salad, which was off the charts good. Reviews raved about the blackberry blond beer, so I asked for a taste. I chose a hazy IPA instead. The atmosphere was very nice. Service was fast and pleasant. We happened into a conversation with our server's fiancè and child. Came here twice in two days and have to say the service and food are on par and live up to expectations. We came on a weekday so it was easy to get in and out. But as soon as we sat down it filled in. The second day we ate around 4pm so it wasn't that busy and plenty of seating outside. The best part is the food. The first day I ordered the ahi sandwich with fries and the portions are large. The sandwich was delicious! Great combo of flavor and crunch. The 2nd day I wasn't as hungry and got the ahi tuna tacos which were also amazing! The portion was perfect for what I was feeling. If you're hungry get the sandwich. The only negative was we had to wait for a while til a server came over and waited on us. My husband and I both had the Farmer light beer and it was perfect. I had the ahi tacos. We had to wait 40min for a table but thats ok. It was three adults and three kids. The food is really good. I got a lamb burger and it was amazing!!!! The only thing that left a bad taste was the bill. They automatically add an 18% tip charge because we were six people, mind you that three were young kids so not sure they should count. But what was more bothersome was the waitress didnt say anything and we only caught it because wondering why it was a meal more in price. We were actually going to tip more but it felt wrong for them to charge an automatic tip. I get having to service six people is a lot but it was three adults and three kids aged 10-5. We drove into a cute Main Street of Shasta Lake and found free street parking. This restaurant is right on the Main Street with indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it is July the temperature was very pleasant so the outdoor tables were all occupied. We sat inside at one of the numerous booths. I had an awesome burger and some great conversation at the bar here on my road trip to Oregon. If they weren't out of the only non-hazy IPA it would have been 5 stars! The pipeline classic burger was a double smash burger with American cheese and grilled onions. They threw some lettuce and tomato on there to make it "healthy" haha! I very much enjoyed it! Driving up to Eugene along hwy 5 I stopped here. I I have been to the Redding one and had the lamb burger which was great. Here, I had the chicken Caprese sandwich. I took a bite and it was oh my f---- god. It was so good. It was insane. I actually thought it was to be a piece of chicken, but it was more like a chicken salad. I had a afternoon gathering for 14 friends at Pipeline, Mount Shasta. I have been there many times before, one of my favorite places to eat. Their menu is always great, food is always great. Imagination is definitely used, they care about whether you like it or not, and what you think. Desserts are great. Pipeline is not a large place inside. They have a way however of making a group of 14 work. I made my reservation, there was confirmation throughout the week from the pipeline, staying in contact with me made me feel very secure. ARIA was our waitress, and there is none better. She not only took care of the 14 of us, she had other tables. No one had to ask for anything, no mistakes, she had the most beautiful smile, was friendly, great communicator, incredible server. Not one person had one complaint about the food, nor the service. This is unusual for this size of a group we could not have asked for anything more, or anything better. I've never been there that I have not been treated well. read more
