I'm shocked,, this was genuinely one of the best burgers I've ever had. And I witnessed the sweet waitress put up with two Karens' b so gracefully in the short time I was sitting there. 10/10 although I would've loved to see her throw down on the grumpy customers

I really wanted to give them 5 stars, but the craft beer selection is a bit limited, so I'm giving 4 stars instead. Every dish we tried was absolutely outstanding. The food alone makes this place well worth a visit‼ The staff were warm, friendly and thoughtful. They even took the time to acknowledge and respect our pup's personality, which was such a warm and considerate touch. It truly made the whole experience feel even more special. We'll definitely be coming back!

Small place, so seating is limited- glad I dressed warmly sitting outside. The busboy and waitress were extremely friendly and hardworking. The busboy grabbed a bowl of water for a patron's dog (outside) without being asked. The waitress was super friendly, and my Summer Wheat Beer was very good. I was lucky enough to be there for Friday's chowder. The sourdough bread was excellent and soup was delicious.

    Love the outside dining

We sat outside under the grape vines and enjoyed a yummy elk burger and a Waygu burger, plus local brews. Great staff, very nice casual spot for dinner.

My husband and I stopped here not knowing what to expect so glad we stopped beer was numb numb that's actually what it's Called pesto clam and the bread omg please don't pass this place up staff was friendly I can not say enough so pleased we decided to stop. They only had two of the beers they made on tap but they had other varieties as well. The beer was okay but the food was amazing. The wagyu burger and pretzel was delicious. My wife loved her chicken salad. It was a huge slab of chicken that came with it. Also has a dog friendly patio area with a great view of the mountains. Friendly servers make add to the quality of the place.

After a short hike nearby we were hungry and thirsty for a cold beer. What a great find! Dog friendly patio. We tried their Red ale and it paired well with my delicious burger. Food, service and beer were spot on and this place is worth a visit!

A nice little stop on my journey, I popped in here hoping to sit with a cold beer or two with some wifi to do some catching up. While the beer was indeed cold, the wifi was too slow to get much done and my hot spot service wasn't quite up to fill in the details. Friendly service and an enjoyable spot for a beer break along I-5 in the NorCal mountains. [Review 20959 overall - 489 in California - 1944 of 2023.]

Best Clam Chowder on Friday's. Everyone from the chef to all the staff make your meal a delightful experience.

Ask the Community - Dunsmuir Brewery Works

    Is the nut burger vegan?

No, it does have a small amount of Egg & Cheese in the mix as a binder.

    Is there RV parking?

There's ample street parking and a couple of larger lots near the train station 1 block over.

Are pets allowed in the outside seating area?

Yes. I brought my puppy and I also saw others with some small dogs. They didn't seem to have an issue with it.

We chose to sit outside which was wonderful on a pleasant evening. We ordered a particular Pinot Noir. The server came back with tastes of two alternates as they were out of what we ordered. We saw this as awesome customer service! We ordered the burrata with tapenade appetizer and it was the highlight of the evening. The Moroccan chicken dish sounded fantastic, but was just OK. The flavorings were interesting, but after several bites felt too intense. And why was there so much arugula on top? The Trout arrived with a burnt crust and was dry. The server responded the right way and offered a second chance. That arrived looking much better, but was absolutely raw in the middle. The setting, the server's warm customer service, the appetizer, and the wonderful Pinot Noir are reasons for the three stars. They just need to find a chef that can execute the promise of the menu.
