I visited the showroom and found a hot tub I was interested in purchasing. The following day, I called ready to move forward based on the pricing and details I was originally shown. However, once financing was discussed, the terms changed. The advertised package originally included an electric cover, but I was told that if I financed the purchase, the cover would be removed and pricing/specifications would change. What made the experience frustrating was that the website promotes financing, but the final offer did not match what was originally presented. It also felt like pricing was being adjusted above manufacturer retail while still being marketed as a "sale." As a customer, transparency and consistency matter. If a product is advertised at a certain price with included features, those terms should remain clear regardless of payment method. The experience reminded me of seeing a car at one price and then being quoted something different when you're ready to buy. Disappointing experience overall.

Very shady.

I waited almost a year to make sure I had the full experience to give a complete review. From being…read morebuilt to closing to opening the following season. After calling several pool companies, The Pool Store was the only company to actually show up. Toni, (the owner) came out herself, right on time. She wrote our quote on the spot and gave us her personal number just incase any questions should arise. Honestly, we thought she was too good to be true! She didn't try to up-sell us, in fact, she talked us out of a few things that were quite costly. When she left our home we thought for sure there must be a catch. As the process went on, she proved every step of the way that she is an honorable business woman and there was no need to second guess anything we heard out of her mouth. Pat came out and measured our space and mapped out a plan for our pool. Toni helped us with some finishing touches that we couldn't decide on. Toni's husband even came in to discuss an extra project(solar heat) that we were considering and helped us pull it together. It really is a great team that guides you every step of the process. The process was quite simple and Cheryl laid it all out for us in the beginning. When payments were due, what they were for, what the next step should be in the process. The entire process went on without much of a hitch and the pool turned out beautiful. Everyone we met is very friendly and helpful. From the guys that come for the physical labor, the people in the Sewell store, to the people in the office in Williamstown. Toni, Cheryl, Pat, John and Jim are just a few names I can remember off hand but honestly, I haven't met anyone that wasn't professional. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there are a few small things that aren't 100% to my liking but to be fair, I never reported them to the store to give them an opportunity to correct. Maybe they would have. The diving board and ladder were installed slightly crooked and the concrete isn't top quality, several chips came out from day 1. These things were minor in my opinion and haven't kept me from enjoying my pool one bit. Also there were a couple of miscommunications through out the process but again nothing that was a big deal and ultimately it all worked out. I only mention it so people understand that even though they get super busy and may miss a call or appointment they aren't leaving you stranded. They are so busy but always come through. I would 100% recommend The Pool Store, in fact I already have. I plan to stay a loyal customer and given the opportunity would have another pool put in should I ever move.

Also, steps installed crooked which I had to fix myself. Stay far away !!

O NOT USE Niagara pools!!!!! DO NOT RISK YOUR EXPERIENCE…read moreAND MONEY ON THESE FOLKS My family hired Niagara pools to build an in-ground liner pool for our home. We were told the cost would be around $47,000 that actually cost us $53,000. They started work in the fall promising be completed before the next summer season. Due to what they claimed to be a fall with more rain than usual they could not complete our pool in the fall and that we would be first in line when construction continued in the spring. This DID NOT happen in fact I had to email and call throughout the spring for then to return to work on the pool. It did not get finished until the 2/3 week of July that year. Immediately we had problems with the pool. The lining in two spots continued to come apart from the seam at the top requiring multiple visits for them to fix. The pool light did not work, the heat ran sparingly, a large crease developed in the liner in the shallow end and the handle to the filter snapped off the first summer. All these things were reported to the maintenance department via phone and email. With no response in months of trying to get a hold of them. They finally came and addressed the handle and light. And told us the liner crease at the bottom and top liner pop out was from the pool settling. As seasons continued more and more creases have appeared in the shallow end to the point now that we have approximately 5/7 very large creases running the length of the shallow end. When requesting someone come look at it and it to be addressed and fixed. A very rude gentleman named Ken came to our home looked at the pool for a max ten mins determining that they were not at fault, and they would not be fixing the liner. He then ignored countless emails and requests to discuss this. Finally, after months he called me and told me that at some point the pool water had to be less inside then under, which it never was, and that we had not hired them to close the pool, which was never stated as part of the terms of their work warrantee, they would not guarantee the work and we would have to pay $8000 to a different company to come replace the 4-season old liner. Because they were not going to do it. I work as a manager in the home improvement industry, and this is the worst customer experience and customer focused approach I have ever seen. We as the customer where blamed for a pool with a liner that had a visible seam in the shallow end where 2 different pieces of liner were used and connected. The creases have occurred need that seam as has the continued liner popping from the top groove. Ken is the most egotistical home improvement individual I have ever spoken too. He adamantly blamed us and took no responsibility for anything that had gone wrong in the whole process. I understand clearly now why there have been multiple lawsuits against this company. They are solely focused on making money and have no integrity to standby their work or even come up with a mutual agreement to share the cost of fixing the liner. The absolute entitlement is disguising and explains why countless employees I dealt with have since left the company. DO NOT RISK YOUR EXPERIENCE AND MONEY ON THESE FOLKS
